BOW to rainart 6 costume G... that is an amazing costume. should be his alternate!!!!!! (and rarely does male costume art get me excited, nonetheless that belonging to rain)

The concept with the braid and more exposed skin would have been a good direction for an alternate; too bad dlc characters don't have one.

Pictures I and J are definitely my favorites.

He looks more unique and very distinctive when compared to the rest of the "ninjas". I wish either one of those two (preferably I) would have been his final costume design.

If not for the whole look, it would have been fantastic if they would have made his arms, hands, and eyes look like that every-time he is doing a special move or Fatality. It would have been absolutely epic and it would have made him more distinctive.

Concept G is my second favorite just because he looks a lot more "loose" than the rest of the ninjas, like, he shows a bit of skin without the need of hundreds of accessories around his chest and arms.

I dislike the hair though...I think I've had enough of super long hair styles like that. It's actually starting to bother me. It looked cool with Fujin in MKA, but, I think only Sindel and Kitana should have stayed that way. No one else needs huge braids and supernatural looking hair.

Anyway, the picture with Stryker (sniff sniff) is awesome.

I still haven't bought him or seen any of him to comment on his gameplay, fatalities, etc, but, I love what the video talks about his sound effects and how he was a very popular DLC characters.

Concepts E and I are better than the one he got.

The fantastic water effect/skin in his arms, hands, and eyes is a total winner.

WHY did they not go for this costume?

I wish it would have at least been available for seconds during the execution of his Fatalities or water specials.

It's Much better...

I think costumes I and J look good in renders, but wouldn't look too great in the game. I feel like it might come off a little Chameleon-ish if it was implemented in his final design.

Costume G is by far the best ninja design I've seen from them for any of the fighters. It's so unique yet classic. Of course rain should show more skin, who likes wet clothes? I love the long braid, reminds me of like a mermaid tail or something. And the wave effects are still on his clothes, and the gold in his masks and accents really give him a good demi-god vibe.

Kostume J should have been his alt.

The watery arms are really cool, and could possibly have potential to create water formed weapons.

Its like turning, Smoke into smoke (wait, they did at some point lol), Scorpion into a fire being or Sub-zero into an ice block. Its too obvious and looks too outlandish or superhero-like for Mortal Kombat, imo.

But speaking as an Effects Artist, I can say that having animated, watery arms
might have made his model too "heavy" for the engine, causing slowdown.

It does look *extremely* cool, though. Especially I.

Costume G is really amazing, wish that would be his alternate costume if DLC would recieve it. The long braid reminds me of VEGA from SF, which adds to rains narcissism and pride. NRS really loves super long hair on their Edenian characters...and Fujin.

LOL, they just tied their own noose showing that Rain costume concept with the hair....oooh boy.
