Spotlighting the Mortal Kombat Legacy II San Diego Comic Con Poster

The second season of Mortal Kombat: Legacy is gearing up for a much anticipated September debut! The show held court at this years San Diego Comic Con -- hyping up fans with a glimpse of what's to come at a special live panel [full story].

Promotional posters from the con are already fetching a pretty penny on eBay, but thanks to a little Photoshop magic from fans, you can get a clear look at the banner for free:

Mortal Kombat: Legacy II SDCC Promo Poster [Edited by @EarthRealm]

Legacy II adapts the classic story from the first game into an all new tournament take by Kevin Tancharoen. As previously reported, the sequel series boasts lethal finishers, but aims to tell a story about characters, as well.

Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa returns to the role he made famous in the 1995 feature film, starring as Shang Tsung! Ian Anthony Dale and Samantha Jo reprise their roles as Scorpion and Kitana from the first series.

Also pictured in the poster: Brian Tee (Liu Kang), Casper Van Dien (Johnny Cage), David Lee McInnis (Raiden) and that's either Harry Shum Jr or Eric Steinberg as Sub-Zero (top).

Soak up more of the SDCC experience via photos shared by Brian Tee [full story]. For spoilers from the preview scene and more commentary, check out Mortal Kombat Online's SDCC panel review. Find more stories like this in our Komplete Legacy II Kompendium and on the Media & Merchandise forum!
