It's a little too dark, but otherwise, I think it is a very nice background.

I made it dark to fit the darkness of the background because the sun is setting.

I think it's beautiful (and I had seen it before) but I don't think it looks like the nether realm to be honest.
It's great though, 4/5

Simple and gorgeous

Not a bad composition, but honestly, there is too much red. Nothing has it's own hue anymore. At least make the wood brown with a hint of red lighting so that the monotone color is broken up a bit.

The sky and the mountains are fine, but I think that the other bits could use some more color.

Too damn dark and too much damn red. The tree has a crusty look to its edges. I like the concept of the background though it was poorly executed.

Water = Lava?

Then it would really look appealing.
