The Last Exorcism
I have to see it because of the 1973 legend of a film regardless if I like it or not. Kinda the same reason people saw Expendables. The value of the actors or overall series is what makes you go see a movie. Either way, no one movie is completely trash. Directiors tend to entertain us somehow or else they will get fed to the Lions. Ofcourse it's not gonna be scary. If that's what your thinking. No such thing as scary movies anymore. You seen the new Nighmater on Elm Street, and Jason? That was just re-hashed drama not horror. Scary movies officially died somewhere between the80s, the 90s, & The Twilight Zone of hollywood's re-makes.
I am often interested in Exorcism movies, but they scare me beyond any other type of horror. I am religious, and I do believe in posession, and that scares me. To me, its not really what happens in the movie that is scary, its the the thought of what is happening

There hasn't been a single decent exorcist movie since the original. I saw the trailer for this and saw nothing interesting or creepy. Just a lot of cheese

Ohh..I thought I was the only one, I get scared because I think that something like that could actually happen..but I'll still watch it because I like the Exorcism films.I am often interested in Exorcism movies, but they scare me beyond any other type of horror. Movies never scare me. I've watched way too many of them and become way too desensitized. Besides, mainstream horror is usually 'shock' and not 'horror.' Either way, this movie can look ok from the trailers, but I assume that they've already spoiled all of the major scenes and the PG-13 rating just makes me even less interested. Pirahna 3D however, :).

I had to look it up. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CNSaurw6E_Q
I find horror/Suspense movies based on true stories or true events even more creepy, just the idea that it happened or could happen in real life scares me alittle bit more. For example, the Texas Chainsaw Massacre....Exorcist movies fuken scare me because, well just look at these images
But since I'm not religious and I don't believe in demons and all that, I don't get that extra scare I was talking about from any exorcist movies. I'm glad because even without it I get super scared

These new generation exorcism movies don't completely scare the shit out of me but I'll go through one for an hour and thrity minute cheap thrill. And its not bad since I work at the nearby movie theater and therefore can see it for free.
That chat roulette promotional tool was fucking genius though. Dude signs on expecting to whack it to a striptease but instead soils himself! Perfection! Eli Roth is a genius.

I'm interested in this movie, but I'll wait till it hits shelves. By the way, scary movies do still exist , they're just hard to find in America. (Hollywood based). Look for some good indie films, and there are some good Japanese/Euro films. As a horror fan, they don't necessarily scare me, but they are a major step up from that predictable slasher bullshit Hollywood craps out. Just be sure to get subtitles.

I HATE shit like that. Where you think your watching something, and it's something completely different, meant for the purpose of making you jump.
Still pretty cool.

I saw it last night, it was really good for a PG 13 movie. The story was very creepy =). However omg the audience killed it really, it was all fukin 13 year olds, and they wouldn't STFU!

HAHAHA totally agree on the audience!!! Fucking annoying!
I actually liked the movie!!! It was surprisingly different from other exorcist / Shaky cam movies!
Poor Nell though! she was so cute and nice!
BTW, about the ending:
Spoilers: (Highlight to reveal)
I felt so bad for the documentary lady (AKA the girl from Larry the Cable Guy:Health Inspector)!!! she was so cool and nice and got horribly hacked to pieces!!!
The red spiny demon baby was pretty cool though!
Also, i love how unlike other horror faux-documentaries, u get to see the sci-fish action at the end!
And Caleb was a prick! What a cunt! seriously!!!
