Well I find out I can no longer share my personal secrets with some of my closest friends because they have decided to major in criminal justice to get involve in law enforcement. Lol, just kidding. It got me thinking about my major, which is (criminal) psychology. I chose psychology because I am always interested in knowing what is going on with people, why are they behaving this way and whether I can do what it takes to help someone out mentally or emotionally.

I was pretty much major-less for the first 2 years of school! I couldnt decide... and it was bad cause I was so all over the place no classes convinced me or seemed interesting to me. I started taking a bit of everything, and I fell in love with Economics and have not looked back since.
Now I just cant decide what do specialize in for grad school (if I even get in first)

I started out as an English major and remained so for about 3.5 years. Once I started taking classes for my philosophy minor, it was pretty clear which field I was better at (or at the very least enjoyed more). I talked to the liberal arts councilor and we restructured my degree plan so that I could double major in both English and Philosophy, and everything was working well. For a while.
Then there came a point where I just hated all of my writing/literature classes. There seemed to be a prevailing self-esteem problem in the English department where the professors weren't content talking about writing and literature anymore. When the time came for class discussion, none of the professors wanted to talk about writing style, mood, tone, or audience: they just wanted to push their ideas regarding post-modern continental philosophy. I would have stayed in my Phil classes if I wanted to do that. If we were reading Camus or Philip Roth, it may have been fair game (well no, it wouldn't have; a writing class should still discuss execution of ideas), but we were reading John Donne and Milton. I loved many of these teachers, but I wasn't improving as a writer, and that's why I came to these classes.
I eventually graduated with a bachelors in Philosophy with a minor in English literature. If I took six more hours of classes, I would have had second degree in English.

I'd say from like 2000 to 2007 my life was very unstable and terrible. At the time I was getting certified as a commercial photographer and in 2008 I accomplished that. I was placing well in some competitions and events, but in the end I decided the path of the starving artist was not the career choice for me. It is just too unstable. I need something very concrete and logical. So now I am an accounting major.

My last school was in Italy i got my diploma in plumbing. before that 3 years of junior/high school still in italy and before that elementry school in Mogadischo my home town Somal I.A. baby. Maybe in the future i will pick up some books again and learn some other stuff, like you know what they say you never too old to get education or i might just go: forget about it. lol
I choose animation becuase I am great in art and would like to bring life to my creations. I've had this planned since I was two, ever since that age I've always wanted to work for Disney.
I also said to myself that if I cannot get a job there, I can also go into video game and design stuff for them, such as Blizzard and well, try to get into Netherrealm Studios hahaha...
I just hope I don't move to work at these places... move out of the state I mean.

Art education. I really love the energy that high school brings and I'm really good at art. I know I'm not the greatest drawer/painter/anything like that, but I do know how to do it, and I have the skills to teach others how to as well so maybe one of my students can become a great artist. I think art is an important (unlike most people in education today) part of a school's curriculum and am pretty much fighting an uphill battle to even keep it in our schools.

About Me
The future seemed so bright.
But this thing turned out so evil,
I don’t know why I’m still surprised.
Even angels have their wicked schemes,
And you take that to new extremes.
But you’ll always be my hero,
Even though you lost your mind...

I done computer art and design for 4 years and last 2 years I hated it. I felt like teachers were either hypocrite, junkies or hippies (apart me wish I was over exciting but I'm not). David, our teacher was a joke because he wouldn't help anyone so he got students to do his work. Diane was bad because force down thoats live art and shit like that. I also hated that she would bring up something to do with gay, bi and trans nearly everyday. I got nothing against them but there no need to shove it in my face because I'm not your enemy. Right now, I'm trying to get into youth and community work but rather going back to college, I'm trying to get training or becoming trainee.
I decided to shoot myself in the head and become a teacher. Magister's degree is due this schoolyear.
Too bad I have double majors. Or triple, since our plan is based on obligatory double fields of pedagogy (history and English linguistics, literature in my case) but everyone has a third table of compulsory pedagogics.
In essence, 75%-80% is obligatory. Cannot say I complain, I love them so far.

Nice topic! On to my major.
I chose Psychhology because it helps an individual not only to analyze others and understand them but, also, it makes you do what most people fear sometimes, and that's self-analyzation. In addition, I chose this major because it will allow be to become a counsilor for people with disabilities, AKA ADA counsilor.
My goal is to improve services in a college or university when it comes to assisting people with disabilities. My main focus would be blind students because I'm blind myself. However, I'd like to expand the realm of being able to advicate for those who want to strive for a better future and having the institutions work with them and not against them.

If anyone knows what it means I want to know who...
Bioprocessing Technology
It's science that bases its roots in Pharmaceutical technology and using Biological processes to alter genetic material or items to create something that benefits society.
I really love to study science like the basic chemistry (even though the classes are a bit tough) Biology and Ecology.
Plus, this industry earns...BIG!!!
I could earn 4 times as much as my mom makes
Her 30,000
Me Around 120,000
Can't fool around though. If I mess up, a product may go out to the market, and the public may receive a recall, that means all the problems would be on me. I would lose my job. Creating a defective product hurts the industry and can result in loss of profits.

Well I have an associates degree in web design that at the time I was hoping would some how help me get into video game design.
Right now I'm going back for business, and accounting (I'm considering minoring in investing too). I partly choose to do this because I was having trouble finding work as a web designer, and figured I could either go back to school for another 2 years and get my BS in web design & still have trouble finding work. Or take 3 years and go back for account since I had 1 year already out of the way.
I also picked it because I figured you really can't go wrong with anything business related. It's how the whole economy works, and how it makes money as a whole. It' will never go out of demand just like a few other fields (medical, teacher, food service to some extent). Plus having an understanding of accounting helps with other aspects of the business field like investing.
Plus i just look at all my other friends who went to college and the ones that went into the business field where the ones that seemed to have the least trouble finding a job afterwards, and are also the ones that are the most stable.

I really want to act. but I took up Computer Science so I can start building up skills in case it doesn't pan out.
All the math is probably gonna finish me off, but that's a risk I'll have to take

Ever since I was a little kid I've had an interest in filmmaking. I used to make movies on my family's camcorder, which is kinda a cliche in this field. So my current major is Film and Video Studies
I'm looking to minor or double major in journalism or broadcasting, haven't really decided yet. Because I've always wanted to edit a magazine or be involved with television in some capacity.

I'm expecting fun and excitement.

PSYCHOLOGY
I chose this major because I enjoy helping people with their problems, that's why I want to become a psychologist one day. I just don't want anyone to go through what I went. Being in a depression is hell; if I can prevent that from happening to someone or help someone escape from one, ill gladly do it.
