One more week! One more week! Finally, America will be complete again in one more week! NFL 2010 season officially kicks off next week with the Saints and Vikings!

Now here are my predictions! Cannot wait to look back at this and laugh in February.

AFC:
1. Colts 12-4
2. Ravens 11-5
3. Dolphins 11-5
4. Chargers 10-6
5. Jets 10-6
6. Texans 9-7

NFC:
1. Packers 14-2
2. Cowboys 11-5
3. Panthers 10-6
4. 49ers 9-7
5. Vikings 12-4
6. Eagles 10-6

Boom, bagoosh, my predictions. Colts and Chargers are the safe pick in the AFC to take their divisions, although the AFC west is pretty wild. I won't be surprised if the Raiders and Broncos somehow turn it into a race. Ravens win the AFC North with their great offense, Dolphins grab the division over the Jets, and the Texans squeeze in. I'm expecting the AFC to be a clusterfuck with weak a ton of weak teams vying for a playoff spot.

The NFC is going to be powerful this year. The NFC East is loaded, the Panthers and Falcons are growing, Alex Smith is getting comfortable, the Saints and Vikings remain tough teams, but the real story will be the Green Bay Packers. They will be the best team in the NFL imo. I expect the Cowboys to hold onto the NFC East and the niners win their weak division.

I think the Panthers are going to be one of those surprise teams. One of the best running games in the league and a new QB can help them claim the NFC South. I know, crazy, but I believe in every NFL superstition. The south is doomed to never repeat division winners.....ever! Or this could be the year that ends :\

I expect a bloody playoff race in the NFC. The Vikings, Saints, Eagles, Giants, Falcons, Redskins and possibly the Cardinals could all be in on this at the end. I can't wait to see it. In the end I expect Favre to lead the VIkings to a 12-4 record and for the Eagles to edge out the Saints for the final playoff spot

Now for the team everyone cares about, the unbeatable Jacksonville Jaguars. They're young and I expect them to be a real contender....Two years from now. Right now they are just way too young. 8-8 team

Wild Card Weekend:

Texans @ Dolphins
Jets @ Chargers
Eagles @ Panthers
Vikings @ 49ers

Divisional Round:

Dolphins @ Ravens
Jets @ Colts
Vikings @ Cowboys
Eagles @ Packers

Conference Round:

Jets @ Ravens
Vikings @ Packers

Super Bowl XLV

Ravens vs. Packers

Its Aaron Rodger's year

So yeah, who's ready for some NFL?

The Bears are going to suck this year, I can already sense it... That's why I'm going to pay more attention to Notre Dame's football games. I get to go to one next Saturday.

I'm sick of people thinking that Urlacher is GOD for the Bears... He's old, he's getting rusty, he's not that good.

I'm ready for college football. But hey, you never know, the Bears might change suddenly, but I wouldn't count on it.
Im getting good at NFL thanks to the ps3 demo. I will deffenitly buy Madden NFL 11. So Yeah Im ready, Bring it on bitch. huyaaaaa.grin
What the F. bro, where did you leave the patriots @? and what kinda of predictions is that. Get the fuck out of hear.tongue

yeah man, you don't even mention the Pats in your prediction.

I hate the Pat-cheats as much as the next guy (who doesn't live in Massachusetts) but they've been consistently good for almost a decade now. And they haven't really lost any of the key players from last year. And what about the Bengals or the Steelers?

Is it a sin that I'm not interested in football? I'm actually trying to watch it more and more though cause I really would like to be able to have conversations about this. I need to find the right team and stick with them.

Cowboys win or lose. Honestly they always make the playoffs, they just suffer any real means at a championship compared to the other teams to face. It's always stiff competition, but we need somebody like Payton Manning.

1. Dall-ass Cowboys are always overrated and will not make it deep into the playoffs.

2. Jets will be one of the best teams if Revis gets fat paid.

3. THE SAINTS WILL BE GREAT AGAIN. Fuuuuuuk anyone that goes along with the "past 8 champions missed the playoffs" bullshit. That statistic has NOTHING to do with the present, just the past. The Saints probably won't win the SB, but we WILL make the playoffs, fuck you meanie weenie haters.

WATCH AND SEE. O_o

Where do I begin...Oh yeah. Panthers, yeah this mind as well be an off season seeing as how we lost our QB (No biggie since I wanted him gone, because it would always seem he wanted to throw the ball to the "people that run around in black and white striped shirts". Or on occasions to the other team) And we also lost our defensive tackle Julius Peppers.

Anyone else notice that NFC South has to battle the entire AFC North?

Oh and back to the panthers situation, We also battle those teams that got our QB and DT. The bears and the browns....That ought to be interesting.

But for now my picks would have to be for Super Bowl: Colts and Packers. I know my friend Mike will be glad to hear of this.

My teams of choice are in this order
1. Panthers
2. Cowboys
3. Seahawks
4. Packers

I rarely root for an AFC team.

I will try to post my picks for week 1 of the regular season soon, but I am caught up in school right now at college that I can't really find time to.

The Saints are going to take the division this year once again. The Panthers and Falcons will give them a run for their money, but they'll beat them out and make the playoffs. They won't make it to the superbowl this year though.

I doubt the eagles will make the playoffs, i dont think Kevin Kolb has it in him. I think either the Giants will make the playoffs if their defense hold their own. Other than that I agree with the NFC.

The AFC East is going to be a tough division this year and is going to be difficult to predict who will come out victorious. The Dolphins look prime to win it with all the new players they've obtained. Really, it all comes down to how Henne performs. I think he'll play well, but the Patriots will take it. The Patriots are going to take the division. Tom Brady is going to get back into his rhythm. Its going to be a race between the Jets and Phins. The Jets are going to rely on Greene and L.T. and their defense once again. Mark Sanchez isn't ready to take the reigns of the offense just yet. Anyone notice the Jets have done exactly what the Ravens did in Flacco's rookie year? Just throwing that out there

Other than that I agree with the AFC. Though i think the Ravens will go 12-4. For those of you thinking the Bengals or Steelers will make the playoffs, its very doubtful. This is whats going to happen with the Steelers: they will collapse due to the lost chemistry between Ben and the offense, or they will do fine and not make the playoffs. Now the Bengals: Chad Johnson (Im not calling Ochocinco) and Terrell Owens will tear the locker room apart with their giant egos and ruin the team, or they will play well together, make the playoffs, then lose in the wild card round again.

I have a feeling that this is the Ravens' year. They finally have an offense. The passing game will compliment Ray Rice and give him the ability to make more big plays. Defenses wont just have to cover the run and not worry about the passing game. The only thing that will hold the Ravens back is their Secondary. Tom Zbikowski will do just fine while Reed is gone, he's proven himself. Once Reed comes back, he'll be back to his true self. Although they don't have a #1 calibur corner, Washington and Webb will play well enough to get the job done. Our revamped pass rush will relieve our corners of some pressure so im not really worried about their secondary. Also, Steve Hauschka is gone. He cost the ravens several big games. Cundiff will get the job done.

1.) I'm with you on that brother.

2.) No chance they repeat their last post-season run. It was a fluke. The Chargers just basically choked their way out of the game.

Edit: I don't know if you realized this but they finished 9-7, I REPEAT 9-7. Not to mention the Colts and the Bengals gift-wrapped them freebies in both weeks 16 and 17.

3.)Brees is on the Madden 11 cover am I correct? I see a injury coming along in the near future. WATCH AND SEE!

I mean, St. Louis Rams. Just because that's the team I've grown up rooting for. And it's been...fun....these past seasons watching them (ahem).

But really, aside from hometown cheering, I'm aiming for the Colts. Let the football begin!

Hmph...the only reason why I look forward to the football season is that the roads will be almost empty when the two Texas teams play (Cowboys and what-ever-that other team is). Makes driving around a hell of a lot easier.

Some quick hits:

-Eat it Tebow! Jacksonville! Jacksonville! Jacksonville!

-Houston over Indy, loved it. Manning throws for 57 passes and still loses! Love it!

-I'm loving the defenses of this weekend. I'm one of the minorities that loves the 13-10 slugfests. Here's hoping it remains this way all season

-How bout dem Giants? They sure made it look like they were the best in the NFC East

-Chicago should've lost

-Green Bay looked good, but man how bout Vick? I really feel like he redeemed himself before he went to prison by taking all the blame and apologizing to all the kids that looked up to him. I'm happy that he's getting closer to his former self

-Atlanta is overrated, Rams are underrated, Favre looks old and Dallas can suck it

-AFC South is the toughest division in the league

-Will the running game finally come back as a major factor? Last year it wasn't even close to being as important as the passing game.

-I found out how to stream live games! I can finally watch Jacksonville on a regular basis! Woot!
