New battles unfold every Monday as we count down to the release of Injustice: Gods Among Us! Fans will vote in an elemination style bracket until the grand final decides the ultimate God Among Us, April 8!

Superfight 1: Superman versus Sinestro
In a world where Superman's greatest fears have pushed him beyond the edge -- who better to bring him back than the master of fear: Sinestro? Depending who you ask, Supes was very nearly Earth's first Green Lantern. Had the honor been his, he would have been mentored by Sinestro: a former GL himself, ousted when he took justice too far, turning tyrant in the process. Sounds familiar, eh? Sinestro's Qwardian power ring affords him much the same abilities as green equivalents, but against a Superman unbound even one of the most powerful weapons in the universe may prove insufficient!
Superfight 2: Green Arrow versus Hawkgirl
Hawkgirl substitutes for her male predecessor in this almost-classic clash of not-quite-rivals! Tensions between Green Arrow and Hawkman go way back, dividing them by the very issues Gods Among Us forces the heroes to face! We'll trust Hawkgirl to represent Hawkman and the token female vote, just as capable of wielding the fixed mace as the man who made it famous! An aerial assault makes Hawkgirl a tricky customer, but Green Arrow's seasoned hawk-eye is more than capable of keeping her in his sights!
This week's battles conclude the first round of the Battle Arena tournament! Friday winners will progress to the Quarter Finals, where an A-list line-up awaits, including: Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Joker, Aquaman & Green Lantern!
