I started with Sinestro, Deathstroke, and Cyborg. As of right now, all my characters are around level 14.

I started with Soloman Grundy, Nightwing and Lex Luther, I'm using Nightwing, Catwoman and Green Lantern though, I've built up the specials to full on level 1 and I'm almost full on level 2, swapping once the next character has a one bar special and getting them built up to a second special, administering that then swapping to the next and repeating seems to work. Bane is the toughest opponent I've come across though, took quite a few attempts at that first encounter.

I actually caved and bought Batman, who is a beast. I only have him at level 14 and he's already the strongest character I have with 3,000+ health and 2,500+ damage. I haven't even put anything into any of his special moves, and his second special is a near 1 hit kill against most characters. I'm just trying to level both him and Joker up to level 20 at this point before I go any further. I'm at the set of fights right after Doomsday, but haven't completed the Bonus Fight right after him though.

I'm finding Lex to be almost a pointless fighter. His basic attacks do almost no damage against all higher level characters. His only draw seems to be the damage boost he offer the rest of the team.

Hey guys. It's been a while, but I've been keeping up with the site, especially lately, with the dawn of the newest NRS game...

I thought I would let you all in on a helpful little exploit in the the App.

If you change your system time ahead one day, all of your characters' energy will instantly recharge. It really accelerates you through the game without spending cash (for those of you, like me, who are only playing to get the Console skins).

With this exploit, I just grinded until I got 75000 credits and bought a gold booster (got regime Wonder Woman). I will only spend credits to unlock specials and for discounted gold boosters. It seems like it will get me to the end in no time... Edit: I also bought the starter pack to support NRS. It makes me feel like a bit less of a dick for breaking their game...

Thanks for the tip. That really helps. You probably don't need to jump 24 hour periods though. I'm only doing 2 hour increments, but I also do some energy boosting items too. I would say you could get away with 6 hour periods. Definitely helps though.

Looks like they used a hacked save file. They say the game gets pretty damn hard towards the end and recommends a level 5 elite superman, Wonder Woman and batman. They say it would take $200 real world dollars to level up just superman to that level. They also say that the hidden unlock isn't disclosed, but that it's rumored to be Superman's prison skin. Does anyone know which skin that actually is though, is it the same as the Superman godfall costume? About the only reason I'm still playing the game.

I actually don't have jailbroken iDevice. I'm using my parent iPad 2 that has the latest software version, which hasn't been jailbroken yet.

bought the joker but received no Harley costume... anyone else have this problem?

Sign out of your WBID and then sign back in again. It should show it as being unlocked then.

Thank you! It's there now, won't give me bane's nightfall costume even though I rated but not too many problems with that, won't really play as bane much.

I've had problems with all of them so far myself too. The problem seems to be fixed by logging out and then back in on either the WBID or the account on iDevice. Try re-rating the app and logging back in. It should register.

so does anyone know what the hidden reward is for beating the game?

Nothing confirmed yet, but it seems there is two speculations. The first is that it unlocks the Superman Godfall skin. The second is that it only unlocks the Superman prison skin. The prison skin is listed as an unlock for the iOS version of the game by doing something in the console version, but it isn't listed as a known unlock for the console.

I figured I'd post an updated strategy. I hit a brickwall, again. The difficulty seems to have ramped up quite a bit and my characters aren't high enough to move forward.

So, using the trick for manually setting the time on the device to restore your energy, I've decided to go back and replay the bonus battles for XP and coins. I've noticed that you get a good pay out of XP for your characters within a two level buffer of what is the recommended character level. So for the first Bonus battle it recommends characters up to level 10, so you'll actually get a payout of 5,000+ xp per character up to level 12, then it drops off to around 500XP per character. The same applies to the second Bonus battle, but I noticed the payout is actually higher, around 8,000+ xp.

So I beat this today. Used a lvl 3 elite batman. Here's the hidden reward skin:

Half way to 48,000 so I can buy the regular joker to get that damn Arkham City Harley. That's pretty much the only reason I'm putting time into this game. Just for that. For the Batman Beyond suit, they should have Will Friedle do the voice (voice of Terry). They got Arrow an alternate voice. This BB is skinny enough to be Terry. I think it'd be cool.

I'd actually like some clarification on this. I've read a few places that the iOS game actually does't tell you what the hidden unlock is when you beat it. I've also read that the Godfall skin is unlocked from actually beating story mode in the console version of the game.





Any other tips you can give up? What other characters are you using for your main? Strategy (ie leveling up specials, buying character enhancements, etc)?

I have a normal batman, level 28 myself, with almost all his specials maxed out and the game is still somewhat of a struggle. I got 14 battles left to go.

Yea so I thought the godfall costume was going to be the iOS unlock, but apparently it isn't. I don't have the console version yet, so I'll find out on Tuesday what it actually does unlock.

As far as strategy to beat it there is a couple things I did. I only used my level 40 elite three batman. There is a glitch where you can use one card to fill your three team roster. When you do this with batman it also gives you his trait X3. That means instead of a 25% bonus to damage you now get a 75% bonus. This added up with an extra 10% from his support card ( batcave or orcale, I forgot which) you get a very nice boost. I upgraded his stage three super to the max as well. With all the boosters it does about 60K in damage. Doing that three times a match kills anything you'll face in this game. Furthermore, I also use the time energy exploit so I didn't have to wait hours each time to continue on.

Best way to grind for credits to get a character to the elite levels is battle 36. It takes about 10 to 15 minutes to beat with a gold character and you get over 19K each time. 3 and half runs get you a discounted gold booster.

I should mention how to do glitch to use the same card for all three roster spots. All you do is take the card you want to use and put it in the first spot and move it to the second spot and then move it to the third spot and finally back to the first spot. Then just press back. This also levels the card your using much faster as it gains triple experience each match. Only down side is that it also uses triple the energy each match so you have to use this in coordination with the time energy exploit or you'll be spending lots of cash on energy

Using the three character glitch should get you to battle 36 no problem. Best option for grinding if you're not at 36 is the highest bonus battle you can handle.
