Mod Koms: Street Fighter x Tekken x Mortal Kombat

When Mortal Kombat: Komplete Edition finally finds its way to PC next month [full story], it will follow in the footsteps of fellow fighting franchise giants (and long time rivals) - Street Fighter!

Capcom proved supportive for PC ports of their fighting game revival titles, supporting versions of Street Fighter IV and last year's Namco crossover, Street Fighter x Tekken. As can always be counted on, PC mods turned the iconic Japanese fighters inside out - even moreso than the original games! What resulted was the crossover fans have been waiting twenty years to see!

Character mods created by multiple fans come together to create a third force in the Street Fighter x Tekken crossover battle! M. Bison & Juri (Street Fighter) and Ogre & Nina Williams (Tekken) transform into Mortal Kombat's Scorpion, Mileena, Shao Kahn and Skarlet!

Posted by RajamanGamingHD; the quartet of crossover Kombatants are credited as the composite work of: Khaledantar666, Segadordelinks, Rhazieul & Moedjoer. Created to match the anime aesthetic of the Capcom SFIV house style, it's a rare glimpse at Mortal Kombat's Eastern-inspired characters with a slightly more cartooned hue.

We're looking forward to seeing brand new kommunity kreations when Mortal Kombat: Komplete Edition arrives for PC starting in July [retail copies August - more details]. Check out other featured "Mod Koms": MKII versus Doom; MK Identity Krisis; Injustice NPCS Among Us & MTV Video Mods.

Mag scans get the magazine company sending you cease and desist e-mails. Nobody's sending the lawyers to stop PC custom costume mods.

Costume mods are actually legal, as long as the person bought and owned the game prior to modding.

while anyone can do anything they want to a game they purchased on their own computer is all fine and dandy. its when they upload it on file share servers and torrents thats not right. you really think thats all thats gonna get modded is costumes once the game actually hits? bc i know better. people will be altering the engine, moves, making characters (not just character skins), changing levels, making new levels, some might even make a full on modded versions that must be downloaded as a whole.

Those two items aren't even close to the same thing to be comparable.

So your point is that the same thing that's happened to many games before will happen to this one too? Thank goodness I built that panic room for these situations.
