Considering that the scream/voice is entirely unfamiliar, and we are apparently getting one more reveal tomorrow, is this a mirror match fatality?
If so, who might that be?

If the audio is not some placeholder nor has it been altered, that assuredly isn't Ermac screaming.

I just want to know what the "Bubbling" sound is.

I'm such a delulu fan, I thought it sounded like ripping apart.

It has to be Ermac. The pacing of the events in that audio clip very closely resembles at least two of Ermac's previous fatalities. All the other hints point to him as well.

What I really can't believe is that anyone in their right mind wants palette swap Ermac back. Surely those of you who say that must be trolling. He's gained so much character since then and is easily one of the best designed fighters since those days from an artistic standpoint. Some of the shaky justifications I've seen here are laughable, too. Because he had good combos? Everyone had combos in the old games. Ermac was one of at least 6 or 7 characters who was broken in Trilogy because of zero to death combos.

I digress, though. I hope he looks similar to the fan art that has made its rounds, but even if he doesn't I'm sure they'll come up with something badass for him. They've knocked every costume out of the park since they brought him back in MKD. I personally prefer him with a hood (i.e. his alternate in the last game) as opposed to the head wraps.

Personally, I like a hybrid of the second and third pictures. The one up top is cool but one of Ermac's defining characteristics (red) is completely missing.

i think it could be a stage fatality because of the bubbling sound. maybe it could be ermacs fatality too. anyone remember the green lantern fatality in mk vs dcu? the green sphere? i always wished ermac would have such a fatality. the bubble getting smaller and the opponent is drowning in his own blood, then the sphere vanishes and blood and guts raining on the ground.

The interesting thing to me is that the voice starts screaming from a far and comes closer, after that i'm not sure what happens, because he doesn't makes a sound. If it's not altered he probably died/got knocked out of the first impact, so I don't think it's the croc, because if he gets eaten alive he probably would scream after the first bite (maybe not if it's the head, but you get my point).

Anyways he is fallig, and it's hard to say, but I think the sound of it is just the body itself falling fast, i don't think it's ermac's/takeda's or kenshi's power, it's just a body in the wind ( :D ).
That said this should be a fujin fatality, because it falls 3 times.

The thing that bothers me in this theory of mine, is that the first sound before the scream is like if someone teleported (or morphed). Can't wait for tonight (10pm here) to find out.

I wouldn't want a game with no MK-MK3 at all besides sub/scorp but I dont think it would be that bad.

Sub, Scorp, Kenshi, Quan, Shinnok, Havik, Daegon, Tanya, Frost, Blaze, Bo Rai Cho, Fujin, Ashrah, Hotaru, and Reiko. That's 15 and it's just the ones I liked. They could revamp like 8 others like Movado, Kira, and Shujinko (just give him his own moves). Honestly if they did that and just had like 5 other MK-MK3 characters like Mileena, Raiden, and Cage or something I would be pumped.

I would love to see Ermac unmasked and have a demon face in one of his variations. The concept art could be a variation as well. His mummy look could be the last variation.

hmm.... Maybe, but as I hear it this one has a bit higher pitch, but that could be the terror in his voice (although, acid meltig of your face is pretty terrifying too..).

Ermac should have the Soul Steal that was previewed in his MK9 debut trailer for MK9. I was pissed when he didn't have it in the end.

Considering that if Shang is in or not, as he didn't have the Soul Steal Fatality in MK9 either.

What??? that is a troll post, in noway does he look boring in design and gameplay in MK9. He's easily top 5.

Sounds like Ermac teleslamming the hell out of the poor guy. Or maybe Boon is trollololing and it's Shang Tsung's Soul Steal fatality, sounds very aggressive (no shit), like...he wants more than the soul...like he uses it instead of just stealing it.
