Series Co-Creator and Creative Director Ed Boon will finally join the Kombat Kast couch on the next instalment of the developer live stream! The next episode will go live tomorrow: 3:00PM CDT, May 4th to preview DLC guest Jason Voorhees! Be on the Mortal Kombat X forum to watch and discuss it live!

Downloadable guest character Jason Voorhees is just two days away for holders of the MKX Kombat Pack. For the rest; the Camp Crystal Lake serial killer will stalk online stores for individual purchase May 12 [full story].

I'm a little worried/nervous to be honest. I am a huge FT13th fan and I know Jason gets sluggish after being revived in part 6 so I am fully prepared for him to have a variation or 2 where he is slow, but PLEASE NRS give us ONE variation where he is normal speed. I might just die a little inside if he moves like Torr/Solomon Grundy in all 3 variations

Same here.
Relentless will be him as human so I think he will be average speed.

I sure hope so lol I want him to be a main of mine but if he moves like Ferra/Torr in all 3 variations it will be off putting. Ill probably suck it up and learn him regardless, but yeah, still hoping Relentless will be normal/average speed :)

I could totally work with that, at least that wouldn't feel like an actual set back. Maybe its just not my style but when i use Ferra/Torr I instantly feel like im at a disadvantage due to how slow Torr is for the most part lol

Apparently NRS thought Jason was a better choice. I cant say I know 100% but it more than likely has to do with who would sell better.

Meh. The only character in this kombat pack I could possibly give a shit less about than Jason is that shit-stain Tremor, but only by a small margin. The only thing worthwhile coming out of tomorrow is the "horror skins". Looking forward to that Reptile from the Black Lagoon and vampiress Mileena.

Because Freddy was the biggest seller in MK9 and Scorpion in Injustice. Predator is probably gonna be the biggest seller in MKX. Guest characters bring the big bucks.

On topic, I hope Jason has a teleport in which he just walks off-screen and reappears in the other side.

It's a stretch but I hope Jason gets his own Camp Crystal Lake stage. Man that would be awesome! They did it for Kratos, so why not?

Also average speed Jason FTW!

Could you guys imagine his Fatalities and Brutalities?? I grew up with these movies so expectations are too high for me. Super hyped!

Exactly how I feel! Friday the 13th and Mortal Kombat were 2 of my favorite things ever growing up, so I'm beyond hyped for Jason.
