This game is all about the new generation, why keep bringing back "klassik" stuff? We already have the klassik costumes that look terrible. I wouldn't say no to The Bank or The Warrior Shrine though.

You can't deny though that it would be nice to have some more stages for variety. I'm already pretty bored of the stages we have now, I would definitely buy some old stages. Some of them could be revamped too, we just don't know yet. Also the klassic costumes do look pretty horrendous I have to agree, save for Reptile's MK4 alt. That still looks amazing imo

They can add more stages, but why do they have to be old stages that have been left in the past? Sure there are many stage concepts that didn't make it into the game. Just like with costumes, there are a lot of cool designs that weren't used, yet we get shitty looking klassik skins.

They should do all the MK-MK3 stages exactly the same as they were 20 years ago, just with updated graphics.

They did already with MK: Deception, Mortal Kombat Armageddon and Mortal Kombat 2011.

Except it's not... Oh yeah nothing strengthens a franchise like totaly spitting in the face of it's long time fans and ignoring it's legacy. Yeah that's how you do it.

No this game was all about...being another Mortal Kombat game... If it was about what you are spouting off up there guess who wouldn't have been the villain. Guess who would no longer be the protector of the earth ect.

Bottom line you and the other annoying minority who have this impression are wrong.

Anyway.
I want The Living Forest. That should be in every MK game damn it. Why have they not wizened up and made that a staple stage at this point?

I wouldn't mind all new stages if they were able to make an interesting one. I think the arenas were just as disappointing as the roster personally.

New or old, but hopefully old, would completely rejuvenate MKX for me. Five is a great number, any more would be a nice surprise. Actually, any DLC stage wold be a fuckin surprise to me..

Warrior Shrine?

Kombat Tomb?

There are some great arenas on this list though.

Not quite what I would've picked.

With the Dead Woods, the Living Forest seems redundant.
Kahn's Coliseum doesn't make much sense without Kahn himself.

And a lot of these circle plane stages are better fitted for 3D gameplay, I think (The Wu Shi Academy, Kuatan Palace)

I'd like to see more Deception stages, like Slaughterhouse, Yin Yang Island...

The return of any MKDA stage would make me happy.

MKX needs a Pit stage (new or revamped) and a Portal stage. Portals and Pits, plus purple skies, this is "klassic MK" for me.

Yeah, my top 3 are The Pit 3, Kombat Tomb, and The Portal. I would also like to see The Evil Monastery. Living Forest is a bit redundant now that Dead Woods is in the game. Wouldn't mind seeing a lot of these back, though.

I don't know. There's still a way to make them work regardless. Fighting surrounded by Lava with Goro's official throne in the back would be cool. Not everything needs to be on an obvious 2D planes. Other levels like the Kuatan Jungle, Jinsei and Emperor's Courtyard have an obvious depth to them. They're not in front of a wall or in a corridor. They just happen to be fighting at that exact place in the world.

Now, I understand your point, in the sense that these arenas were usually square or round. But the original arenas that made it in Deception and Armageddon went from 2D to square or round. The opposite can happen.

See the Sky Temple in MKX for a good example of a 3D arena transitioning beautifully to a 2D stage.

Definitely the House of Pekara. It's the only 3D era stage I can recall.actually lol. I'd like to see the Pit II return as well. Done properly though, without the stupid spikes.

Remember the Loading screens for Puzzle & Chess Kombat, with the pieces, n blocks strewn about?

Make that a stage.
Checkerboard floor, Chess pieces can be thrown, you can bash their head off the Puzzle blocks.

Damn, I read the title, and got excited, thinking 10 DLC stages were announced... Was gonna say it`s technically 20, with the Training Holograms, lol

All excellent choices. House of Pekara was popular back in the day...

Eh, I disagree. I'd like to see a crumbling, run down, abandoned version of the coliseum. With Kotal remaking Outworld in his image, I'd be interesting to see the last decaying bit of Shao Kahn's legacy.

Why not do a pool where we the customer get to pick 10?

I agree with the rest of the arenas on the countdown.
