RED VIRTUE

RED VIRTUE’S COSTUME & ALTERNATE:
Red Virtue can wear a traditional red sleeveless gi with a thick red sash wrapped around her waist and tied up in a knot in the front of her waist with the ribbons hanging down to about knee level without a bow tied in the front. She could also wear a loose fitting pair of ninja pants like a Sashinuki-hakama to allow ease of movement. She would also wear a red clothed mask over her face or she could be unmasked and showcase her beautiful face and a red headband tied up and hanging down the back of her head. She would also have flowing red hair tied up in a ponytail that came down to her back. She can also have red ninja shoes and a Cantonese symbol in black on the left side of her chest standing for the Lin Kuei. She would also wear a red undershirt concealing her neck and chest region from skin exposure. She would also have black wrists guards. Her alternate can be a darker shade of red with a traditional dark red sleeveless gi and a red thick sash wrapped around her waist and tied up in a knot in the front of her waist with the ribbons hanging down to about knee level without a bow tied up in the front. She could also wear a darker shade of red clothed mask and a Sashinuki-hakama to allow ease of movement. She would also wear a darker shade of red ninja shoes and red headband tied up and hanging down the back of her head. She would also have the Cantonese symbol standing for the Lin Kuei over her heart in black. She can also have black wrists guards around the back of her fists and forearm as well as a darker shade of red undershirt to conceal her neck and chest region from skin exposure.

RED VIRTUE’S BACKSTORY:
Long time standing member of the Lin Kuei, Red Virtue, was inducted into the temple as an outsider with a mysterious but dark past. Physically attractive and beautiful, Red Virtue always had garnered unwanted attention from various men that would eventually motivate her inception into the Lin Kuei. And being of a foreign background, Red Virtue had to pay a series of long and intense dues to be inducted. It was because of these experiences within her faint past and completion of intense Lin Kuei ceremonies that she was to be considered. The combination of paid dues and her dark and painful past caused Red Virtue to developed a strict, intolerant and emotionless persona towards others within the temple. She would become an instructor for Kunoichi Ninjas within the Lin Kuei. Her leadership style is militarized, strict and intense exhibiting no remorse or tolerance for emotions, mercy and weakness. With her decorated tenure within the Lin Kuei she commands a mid-level authority over female assassins. When word of an outsider infusing a war between the Lin Kuei and the Shirai Ryu came to her attention, she sent long-time advanced associate “Artica” to investigate. Receiving the inside information from her, and learning of Sub-Zero being the root cause made her and other high ranked Lin Kuei officials to take a decisive action to eliminate him. Now as Artica enters Mortal Kombat so does Red Virtue to uphold the honor and reputation of the Lin Kuei.

RED VIRTUE’S FIGHTING STYLE:
Red Virtue has a stealth and agile line of attack. Her movements are quick, deliberate and continuous. As a member of the Lin Kuei, she has shown herself to master the principles of Ninjitsu. She is proficient with Taijutsu for hand to hand combat scenarios. She also has proficiency with welding short katana blades as weapons. As an oath to the Lin Kuei she has sworn herself to secrecy and discretion. She is a skilled impersonator of targeted enemies, and espionage methods of gathering information for missions. She also is a master of assassination techniques and is considered by the Lin Kuei a skilled killer. In her advanced years with the Lin Kuei she also was taught Black Arts techniques. She also has proven to be efficient in throwing techniques for means of defense and elusiveness with the disciplines of Hapkido.

RED VIRTUE’S SPECIALTY MOVES:
Somersault Slice - Executes a series of somersaults while her two short katana blades are extended and then flings intersecting arms while in mid-air backwards to score a severe slice in an “X” formation against her opponent.

Underhand Somersault Slice - Swings her body forward from opponent’s shoulder under their arm into a reverse forward somersault on her opponent‘s back. She then lands on the back of her slumped over opponent. She then springboards off their back into another backwards forward somersault right in front of them and while in mid-air flings her two extended short katana blades intersecting backwards to score a severe slice in an “X” formation against her opponent.

Bladed Staff - Connects the two short katana blades together by the handles to form a bladed staff. Once together a red fluorescent glow extends the blades to form a staff. She then twirls the staff in a silhouette or infinity shaped formation across her body and turning and twisting herself throughout the formations scoring several hits/lacerations against her opponent before taking the blades apart.

Bladed Lunge - Jumps into a head first lunge towards her opponent parallel to the ground scoring a laceration hit against her opponent before transitioning into a forward ground roll away from her opponent.

Teleport - Disappears in a blinking hologram with vertical streaks through the hologram image and reappearing on the opposite side of the screen or vertically above the head of her opponent.

Cut Throat - Disappears leaving a blinking hologram with red vertical gaps through the image and reappears on the back of her opponent only to cut the throat of her opponent with one of her short katana blades and then executing a backwards somersault away from her opponent.

Splitting Image Attack - From fighting stance, she flings her arms into an intersecting “X” formation clutching her short katana blades and/or grabs her opponent from close range. She then disappears leaving a blinking hologram image with red vertical gaps through the image and two images of herself dash in opposite directions across the screen off camera at a quick pace holding and extending her short katana blades out and slicing her opponent and as she continues to dash back on camera from their respective opposite sided screens towards center stage before the two images merge back into one image and transition into her fighting stance to execute as Red Virtue scoring two laceration hits. The images would look like Raiden’s double electric throw move except it would be running images of Red Virtue.

Stab & Slam - She dashes quickly at her opponent and impales them in the chest with both of her short katana blades. She then proceeds to flip her opponent upside down facing herself and carries her opponent as she ascends in the air to mid-level. She then slams her opponent on their back and springs off her fallen opponent’s chest with a forward somersault and an upside down full body twist away from her opponent.

Heaven’s Door - From a crouching position on one knee, Red Virtue springs diagonally upward with her short katana blades extended towards her opponent. She then impales her opponent and ascends in the sky to mid-level heights with her opponent stuck on her blades. She then executes a front somersault in mid-air and kicks her opponent off her blades to make them descend diagonally downward towards the pavement slightly bouncing up and down. She then descends down into a stomp with both feet before executing a front somersault away from her opponent.

Handspring Jump Kick - With weapons discarded in her back, Red Virtue performs a series of front and back handsprings towards her opponent scoring multiple hits, she then at the end of her series, pops up into a front somersault and thrusts herself into a flying jump kick at her opponent that sends her opponent sliding backwards face up across the pavement.

TeleSlice - Disappears in a blinking hologram with vertical streaks through the blinking hologram image and reappears in the upper portion of the screen knee extended and blades intersecting in front of her, only to drop down on her opponent with her pair of short katanas flung backwards. This scores Red Virtue with a laceration hit against her opponent.

Handspring Flying Punch - With weapons discarded in her back, Red Virtue performs a series of front and back handsprings towards her opponent scoring multiple hits, she then at the end of her series, pops up into a front somersault and thrusts herself into a flying punch at her opponent that sends her opponent sliding backwards face up across the pavement.

RED VIRTUE’S INTRO:
Red Virtue drops down from the sky into a crouching position on one knee with her arms extended out clutching her short katana blades. She then twirls her weapons in the air to discard them in her back and rises to her feet slowly and utters the phrase, “You will die in your own iniquity!” clutching her fist. She then motions back into her fighting stance.

RED VIRTUE’S MID-TAUNT:
She stretches her head side to side, scrapes her feet against the pavement and extends her shoulders to utter the phrase, “You’re no match for the Lin Kuei.” She then motions back into her fighting stance.

RED VIRTUE’S WINNING POSE:
She twirls her pair of short katana blades to her back intersecting holsters and sequentially crouches down to leap up in the air and disappear in mid-air with the small thin vertical gaps in between the fading hologram imprint she leaves behind from her disappearance.

RED VIRTUE’S X-RAY MOVE:
Anesthesia – Red Virtue flings a controlled jab with her front arm to the face of her opponent thrusting the nose bone inward towards the skull. The camera can show the internal damage. She then can throw a low leveled sweep with the inside of her front-side foot to the inside of her opponent’s knee cap and tearing the ligaments and tendons holding the joints together. The camera again showcases the internal damage. Finally, after rendered in pain, Red Virtue can throw a pair of high rising sidekicks with the same front-side leg in a sequential order and without letting down her leg. The initial kick would strike the neck region and the follow up kick in the same motion could be in the facial area of her opponent. The camera again would showcase the internal damage from the pair of kicks which would send her opponent stumbling backwards into a free fall backward on their back sliding across the floor.

RED VIRTUE’S FATALITY:
Vasectomy/Hysterectomy – From long distance, Red Virtue jumps into a brisk jog towards her opponent. She then transitions into a ground roll to where she also dislodges her pair of short katana blades from the holsters behind her. She then impales both of the katanas single-handedly in the pelvic region of her opponent. She then yanks the blades out across her body, dislodging her opponent’s impaled body parts across the screen like flinging a piece of food off of a shish kabob with one stroke. Her opponent as a result slumps over and falls to the ground in a pool of blood in a fetal position. Red Virtue then rises to strike a winning pose.

RED VIRTUE’S ENDSTORY:
After winning the tournament, Red Virtue encounters an incapacitated Sub-Zero in the grasp of Artica. She then transports back to the Lin Kuei temple with Artica and Sub-Zero whom is now held as a prisoner of the place he once called home. After a few days of being held hostage, Sub-Zero gains consciousness of himself in a room alone. He is then meet by Red Virtue and Artica and a host of other highly ranked officials from the Lin Kuei. Red Virtue, in a burst of controlled rage beings to interrogate her former clan member with a barrage of questions about Frost and his loyalty/alliance to the Lin Kuei. This marks a series of long and intense hours of torture and interrogation for Sub-Zero. Throughout the grueling procedure, very little sensible information is gathered from Sub-Zero and his ties to Frost. The Lin Kuei group, then break for a general discussion outside of the room, to which Sub-Zero escapes his captivity with a teleport from the hidden chambers never to be seen again among the temple. Red Virtue and others reconvene back to the interrogation room to find that Sub-Zero has disappeared. In another violent outburst, Red Virtue chastises the rest of the Lin Kuei in a violent outburst and vows to hunt Sub-Zero down herself.

Idea for New Character: Obsidian Blue

OBSIDIAN BLUE

OBSIDIAN BLUE’S COSTUME & ALTERNATE:
Obsidian can wear a traditional sleeveless dark blue gi without rips or tears in the shoulder region of her garment with sky blue trim on the collar, shoulders and neck region of her gi like the Hapkido Grandmaster Bruce Lee fights in the movie “The Game of Death”. She can have a thick sky blue sash wrapped around her waist and tied up in a knot from the front with the ribbons hanging down to knee-level instead of the sash being tied up in a bow. She can also have a sleeveless dark blue undershirt concealing her neck and chest region so that there is no skin exposure visible to the eye. She can also wear a tightly wrapped dark blue clothed mask or she could be unmasked without the clothed mask around her face and black wrists guards along with dark blue ninja shoes. She would also wear a pair of dark blue loose fitting ninja pants like a Sashinuki-hakama to allow ease of movement. Her alternate can be a traditional royal blue gi with dark blue trim on the collar, shoulders and neck region of her gi. She can have a thick dark blue sash wrapped around her waist and tied up in a knot from the front with the ribbons hanging down to knee-level. She can also have a royal blue sleeveless undershirt with a tightly wrapped clothed royal blue mask covering the lower half of her face or she could be unmasked without the tight fitting mask. She would also have a pair of loose fitting ninja pants that are colored in royal blue like a Sashinuki-hakama along with a pair of royal blue ninja shoes. She would also wear black wrists guards and a royal blue headband with ribbons hanging down from the back of her head. She also can have flowing jet black shoulder length hair pulled back into a ponytail.

OBSIDIAN BLUE’S FIGHTING STYLE:
Shrouded in a cloud of mystery, Obsidian Blue’s fighting style has been characterized to be in forms of Ninjitsu and Black Arts training. Because of her secretive nature, she has been characterized as a master deceptionist. The rare times that she has been spotted, some have witnessed her to be an expert in hand to hand combat scenarios with unusual forms of Taijutsu. She has also been observed to use pyrotechnics as a means of redirection and escape methods. She also has proven to be quick and deliberate with her attacks with no wasted movements. She also has conciliatory techniques to hide her identity from others and is effective in assassination techniques.

OBSIDIAN BLUE’S BACKSTORY:
Like Pandora, little is known about Obsidian Blue’s origins. When questioned about her background, the information that has turned up has proven to be extremely vague for she doesn’t have ties to any martial arts schools, clans or teachers. She has been observed to be a very discreet yet powerful warrior with mysterious motives to all. With mixed reports of her past, to some she has demonstrated herself to be a heroine to niche communities, providing support and justice to aide in the pitfalls of selected areas. And to others she has demonstrated herself to be a menacing villain inciting riots and chaos from her short hinged presence in other areas of the world. In receiving word of a world renown tournament consisting of the best fighters on Earth and beyond to participate, Obsidian Blue enters Mortal Kombat as a wildcard and mystery to all that have heard of her legend.

OBSIDIAN BLUE’S SPECIALTY MOVES:
Teleport - Leaves a blinking hologram image of herself behind as she teleport either horizontally across the screen behind/in front of her opponent, or reappears vertically above her opponent to execute a descending flying punch to the ground.

Obsidian Dust - Cocks back front arm to backside shoulder and flings her forward arm towards her opponent to unleash a cloud of dust to engulf her opponent. Once in contact, the dust suspends her opponent in mid-air in a small sized blinking blue spherical orb/bubble that rotates them head over heels and sideward momentarily before disappearing. This gives her the time to execute a series of combos and free hits towards her opponent.

Sub-Terrain Teleport - Flings both of her intersecting arms backwards to unleash a blue spark of energy before leaving a blinking hologram image imprint of herself behind. The spark races across the pavement of the stage towards her opponent’s feet before Obsidian pops up in the face of her opponent to execute a jump reverse kick to the upper extremities of her opponent knocking them off their feet backwards to the pavement.

Backwards Spring Kick - Executes a swift turn, turning her back towards her opponent and crouching into a position to unleash her lower extremities diagonally upwards in a bucking motion at her opponent standing within close range. She then motions into a ground roll forward away from her opponent while the kick knocks her opponent in the air backwards towards the pavement.

Aerial Clones - Leaps up in the air in a front somersault and thrust into a flying punch formation. In which she then disappears into a circle of blinking hologram imprints of herself and divides into four hologram clones of herself in mid-air to then descend down all in a sequential order on foot bound opponent. The last image of herself materializes into Obsidian and transitions into a forward ground roll towards opponent. If blocked the last image pops back into a backwards somersault away from opponent.

Hidden Aggression - From fighting stance, Obsidian throws a smoke bomb at her feet and fades into the dissipating smog untraceable to the viewer. Once invisible, a hologram imprint of herself appears out of thin air to surprise attack her opponent with a series of punching and kicking combos either in front or behind her opponent momentarily and then disappears into a blinking hologram imprint of herself. She then reappears a few seconds later at the video game player’s discretion either in front or behind her opponent, at the video game player’s discretion, to repeat the surprise attack again and then disappear in a blinking hologram imprint of herself again. This process continues for four rounds of surprise attacks before she reappears from a hologram imprint of herself and transitions into her fighting stance. It could be like Reptile’s invisibility except the difference with her technique is that she would disappear and reappear sporadically with surprise attacks throwing her opponent off guard in anticipation. This move is block able or also considered to be defensible by opponent counterattacking Obsidian’s attack when she reappears visible.

Incarnation - Obsidian performs a series of fluid hand motions into a thrust of a front jab to opponent’s sternum. Once struck, a flash of blue energy incases her opponent. She then disappears leaving a blinking hologram imprint of herself behind and incarnates herself in her opponent’s body causing them to be throw themselves over the canvas sporadically in a series of front over end toss of the body and airlifts and finally throwing themselves on their back landing face up. She then executes a ground roll out of the body away from the laid out fallen opponent.

Hologram’s Trap – Obsidian skips backwards and leaves a blinking hologram imprint of herself behind. The hologram image performs a standing series of combos consisting of punches and kicks and topping off the several hit combo with a throw towards Obsidian, in which she can execute another series of combos on airborne opponent. Or the hologram can knock her opponent back towards the opposite side of the screen before it disappears in a blinking hologram imprint of Obsidian. It can function like Sub-Zero’s ice clone except it would be a hologram imprint executing combos.

Inner Chi - From her fighting stance, Obsidian, absorbs any physical hit towards her opponent bending over backwards a bit but standing her ground from the impact and redistributes the energy back towards her opponent. From the physical hit, she flashes into a series of moving hologram mirror images to which the multiple images freezing her opponent where they stand counterattack and with a series of standing punch and kick combos before all converging and fusing back into Obsidian Blue’s human figure.

Throwing Knives (Aerial & Directional) - Obsidian reaches behind her in the back of her sash with her backhand and flings her arm forward towards her opponent to throw a series of throwing knives to impale them in their upper extremities and lower extremities and leaving blue streaks behind from dashing across the screen.

Hologram Pitch - Obsidian performs a front somersault to land on her opponent and attach and grab on to them in a frontal carry position. She then diffuses into a blinking image of herself still grasping her opponent as her real image executes a series of backwards handsprings away from her standing opponent into an upright position. The hologram image of herself while parched on her opponent’s upper extremities throws a pair of left and right crossover hooks to the face of her opponent and then falls into a backhand spring to launch her disoriented opponent in the air head first with her legs and disappears in a blinking hologram imprint. It would look similar to Sonya’s leg grab but launch them in the air instead of slamming them to the ground. The real image of Obsidian would then execute a front somersault and then transition into a jumping flying kick to her airborne opponent that sends them across the screen taking some bars off of their energy meters.

Spiritual Chi - From fighting stance, Obsidian Blue takes on a meditative state after a series of fluent hand motions above her head, and transitions into a kneeling open palm punch to the ground and unleashes "five" hologram replicas with their throwing knives pointed out at the same time at her opponent. One hologram replica ascends vertically up and disappears, the second dashes in front of Obsidian Blue in a slight rainbow arch above the pavement before disappearing, the third diagonally upward in front of Obsidian Blue before disappearing, the next one diagonally upward behind Obsidian Blue before disappearing, the final one directly behind Obsidian Blue in a slight rainbow arch above the pavement before disappearing.

OBSIDIAN BLUE’S INTRO:
Quietly drops from the sky down into a vertical crouching position on one knee. She then slowly rises to her feet eyeing her opponent down in a serious facial expression. She then jumps into her fighting stance.

OBSIDIAN BLUE’S MID-TAUNT:
Walks back into her position into her fighting stance while uttering the phrase, “Humph!” over her fallen opponent.

OBSIDIAN BLUE’S OUTRO:
Quietly jumps up into a vertical ascension to the upper part of the screen and then disappears leaving a blinking hologram image of herself behind.

OBSIDIAN BLUE’S X-RAY MOVE:
Why is the sky blue? - Obsidian thrusts into a front snap punch to the sternum cracking the rib cage of her opponent. The camera showcases the internal damage. She then follows up with a back fist with her forearm rotating into an upright position that cracks the frontal area of the skull. The camera showcases the internal damage. She then executes a sideward hand standing cartwheel by morphing into a blinking hologram image and slips through her disoriented opponent to where she materializes and stands directly behind them now and executes a jump reverse heel kick to their back sending them flying forward to the pavement face first.

OBSIDIAN BLUE’S FATALITY:
Barrage of Knives – Obsidian Blue jumps into a brisk jog towards her opponent and executes a front somersault towards her opponent. While in mid-air she then separates into a four blinking ninja replicas of herself. She then throws a barrage of throwing knives down on her disoriented foot bound opponent below such as a shower of hail. The throwing knives penetrate the all over her opponent’s body causing multiple stab wounds and contusions. The blinking images then disappear while a single image of Obsidian Blue materializes into herself in mid-air while falling into a crouching position on one knee. She then arises to a fallen opponent in a pool of their own blood on the pavement and then she strikes her signature winning pose.

OBSIDIAN BLUE’S ENDSTORY:
After winning the tournament, Obsidian Blue returns to Earthrealm away from the public eye to find a mysterious man with a scroll in his hand. He visits with Obsidian Blue for a short while then leaves after handing her a sacred scroll encrusted with a golden seal. Obsidian takes the scrolls and breaks the seal and unravels the message to discover her true origins left to her by her father. In the lengthy and detailed scroll, she finds out that her father was a former member of the Lin Kuei and because of the ongoing conflicts; she was kept from knowing her father’s affiliations with them. She also finds out that her real name is Sasha Kiraminko and that she was taught by her father himself the way of the ninja as a lone assassin. In the note her father explains his reasons for teaching her Ninjitsu and goes into detail about their family life such as descriptions of her mother and older brother and the truth about their deaths. Reading the scroll gives Obsidian a real life epiphany and understanding of herself. With this event of enlightenment, Obsidian Blue finds new purpose with herself and continues to wander as a rouge ninja assassin with a newly created agenda for herself.

BLACK WIDOW’S COSTUME & ALTERNATE:
Black Widow can be a dark-skin African-American female ninja with a pair of sais to simulate fangs of a black widow spider. She has a traditional black ninja garment such as a black sleeveless gi with red trim around the collar, shoulders and neck region of her gi without rips or tears in the shoulder region of her garment and loose fitting ninja pants like a Sashinuki-hakama in black and shoes in black. She would have an alternate color in her ninja garments like a black sleeveless gi with black trim and loose fitting pants like a Sashinuki-hakama in black. And she would have a Japanese emblem on the gi on the left side of her chest in red for her primary and alternate costume standing for Shirai Ryu. And she could wear a thick red sash around her waist on both costumes where the straps of the sash hang round the front of her costume without it being tied in a bow. And she could also wear a black headband to where the ribbons hang down to the back of her head. She would have costumes like Ibuki’s character in Street Fighter IV with black shirts underneath and black wrists guards and be unmasked. Her costume can look like the picture shown below except with dark skin in black attire with red trim and a pair of sais with a pair of shoes.

BLACK WIDOW’S BACKSTORY:
Known for her stand up personality, Black Widow was a woman never afraid to speak her mind in a direct, deliberate and sometimes condescending way. She had the reputation also of being a bit of a control freak. These personal traits made her stand out as a leader among many, along with aggression, it enabled her to be heralded by Scorpion as one of the best close range fighters of the Shirai Ryu. Black Widow being an advanced fighter was taught the black arts of teleportation and trained over several years with sai weapons. Years past and a raid from the Lin Kuei surprising the Shirai Ryu left Black Widow to be one of few survivors from the massacre of her clan. In the aftermath of the war, Black Widow went into isolation to harnessing her fighting techniques. To preserve her clan‘s traditions and culture along with the few survivors she disappeared into the mountains to a desolate village. Years later, her village was hit with a surprise raid this time by Shang Tsung and a band of Outworld warriors. Black Widow and clan member Poison Ivy were at the forefront of the resistance and lead the revolt against Shang Tsung’s foreign threats. Unfortunately, the remnants of Shirai Ryu were overpowered, outnumbered and taken captive. Impressed by their well-keened fighting skills, Shang Tsung decided to spare each of their lives and casts a hypnotic spell to control them to his will. Her and Poison Ivy were to be selected as members of an elite group of nine guardians to fight opposing forces in Outworld. As long as she remains under Shang Tsung’s hypnotic trance of sorcery, she obeys the will of her warlord in Mortal Kombat.

BLACK WIDOW’S FIGHTING STYLE:
As a member of the Shirai Ryu, Black Widow carried the reputation as one of the deadliest close range fighters in the entire clan. Considered to be an expert in Ninjitsu and Hapkido she is well versed in black magic and her chosen weapons of sais. She mainly takes on nocturnal assignments given to her by the Shirai Ryu. Her success rate for the missions she took on boosted her reputation. She has proven to be proficient in Taijutsu in hand to hand combat scenarios, she has made convincingly deceptive impersonations of high rank officials considered enemies to the Shirai Ryu, she’s performed several acts of espionage, and is an expert at performing effective assassination techniques. In several sparring sessions within the quarters of the Shirai Ryu, she has been observed to have quick and stealth movements, striking at key pressure points as well as having a keen level of elusiveness through teleports.

BLACK WIDOW’S SPECIALTY MOVES:
Standard Teleport - Leaves a blinking hologram image of herself behind and jumps either laterally across the screen or reappears vertically in the upper part of the screen transitioning into a descending flying punch on her foot bound opponent beneath her.

Aerial Teleport Attack - Disappears leaving a blinking hologram image of herself behind and reappears to lunge head first, like a hawk with her sais out pointing towards her opponent and slash them in the chest with her sais then to transition into a front ground roll. This causes her opponent stumble backwards a bit.

Spider’s Web - Flings intersecting arms backwards and launches an electric net/spider’s web mythically appears towards her opponent trapping them where they stand and leaving them open for combos. It can look exactly like Cyrax’s net except she would fling her intersecting arms backwards past her waist.

Charged Sai Punch - She cocks back her sais to back side hip as if she where throwing a fireball, but it would be her sais with a illuminated red glow and strikes her opponent standing within close range that would blow them back off their feet from a flash of red energy.

Upper Corners Teleports - She grabs her opponent, jumps up to the center of the screen and disappears leaving a blinking hologram image behind and two images of herself reappears from two upper corners of the screen to sequentially lunge at opponent head first with her sais out with each lunge slicing and impaling her opponent landing in a forward ground roll and disappearing. And then two more images reappears from the two upper corners of the screen to sequentially lunge at her opponent head first with her sais out with the last image of her slicing and impaling her opponent to transition into a ground roll and transitioning into her fighting stance. The maneuver scores a total of four laceration hits against her opponent all in one quick motion.

Lower Corners Teleports - She grabs her opponent, jumps up to the center of the screen and disappears leaving a blinking hologram image of herself behind and two images of herself reappears from two lower corners of the screen to sequentially lunge at opponent head first with her sais out slicing and impaling her opponent with each lunge and disappearing in a front somersault formation and then two more images of herself reappears from the two lower corners of the screen to sequentially lunge at opponent head first with her sais out with the last image after slicing and impaling her opponent to transitions into a somersault all in one quick motion.

Fighting Hologram - From fighting stance, she flings her intersecting arms backwards and launches a standing hologram image of herself towards her opponent to execute a brief standing combo on opponent and disappears in a blinking imprint of her.

Rising Sai Uppercut - Executes motion where she spins one of her sais in hand generating an illuminated reddish glow on spinning sai and performs a rising, spinning uppercut with spinning sai in punching hand with knee bent and extended twisting in mid-air.

Retracting Hologram - Motions by flinging her intersecting hands backwards to launch a hologram image of herself with her sais out that dashes out from her and strikes and impales her opponent with sais then retracts back to her in one quick motion pulling her opponent within close range.

Backwards Flip Impalement - Executes a quick turn to where her back is facing her opponent and in a quick motion impales them in chest with both sais causing opponent to let out a war cry. She then executes a front somersault away from opponent using kicking her opponent in the face dislodging her sais from in their chest in the process. She then lands on her feet crouching in her fighting stance with back to opponent twirling her pair of sais. This maneuver knocks opponent into a backwards fall off their feet to the pavement face up.

Four Corners Teleportation Slice - From center stage, she grabs her opponent, leaps into the air and disappears leaving a blinking hologram image of herself behind and then splits into four lunges to the four corners of the screen to lunge at her opponent with their sais out in front of her and at the same time to dash diagonally to their respective opposite sided corners of the screen and then lunge back to their original corner locations on the screen and disappear in one quick motion. Black Widow would reappear back in center screen in mid-air to drop down into a crouching position facing her fallen opponent twirling her sais in her fighting stance.

Ground Roll Split Kick - Executes a ground roll with legs split out on in air above her head while in ground rolling motion towards opponent then transitions into her fighting stance.

Spider Web Trap (Center or Far Stage) - Black Widow cocks back her forward arm to backside shoulder and flings her arm in a diagonally downward motion to the ground. A spider’s web forms on the ground around the feet of her opponent. The web ascends and contracts like a fishing net, capturing her opponent and dangling them in the air from a strand of rope. The opponent is then covered in the net while they try to scramble to get free. This leaves her opponent open for a set of combos and free hits.

Pushover - Black Widow dashes towards her opponent holding her sais out. In this stance she dashes towards her opponent leaving a blinking hologram imprint of herself behind and reappears in close range of her opponent and impales them in the chest paralyzing them on her sais. She continues to run a few quick paces with clouds of smoke trailing her footsteps. She then executes a double-handed cartwheel forward pushing her opponent on their back gripping her sais that are still lodged in the chest of her opponent. She then, on the follow through of her cartwheel, throws her opponent in an over handed motion with both sais dislodging from the chest her opponent, to fling them across the screen on their back face up on the pavement.


Black Widow can look like the picture shown above except she could wear black with red trim attire without rips or tears in the shoulder region of her garments and no holes exposing the skin in her black Sashinuki hakama/ninja pants and black ninja shoes with a black ninja clothed mask concealing the neck region or she could be unmasked. She can also have a red sash wrapped around her waist like the picture shown above or below.

BLACK WIDOW’S WINNING POSE:
Stands to face the camera and twirls both sais in her hands and then raises them above her head where the blades intersect over her head while looking at her sais and legs spread slightly apart.

BLACK WIDOW’S INTRO:
Black Widow materializes out of thin air into a standing meditative posture with sai weapons intersecting and pressed against her forearms. She then transitions from a hologram like image of herself in front of her opponent to her fighting stance in silence discarding her sais in her back uttering the phrase, “Karma’s a bitch isn‘t it?

BLACK WIDOW’S MID-TAUNT:
Black Widow twirls her sais in hand and then discards the weapons back to her and dust off her feet against the ground and transitions into her fighting stance.

BLACK WIDOW’S X-RAY MOVE:
Takedown - Black Widow grabs her opponent’s forward arm with an hapkido grab and twist their wrist in such a way that they flip over on their back from the twists with their arm still in her grasp. While opponent is slumped over against her legs, Black Widow leans over to execute a series of rapid punches to the face of her opponent. It can look like Donnie Yen’s character in “Ip Man/Yip Man” movie where he finishes off the last Japanese fighter in the dojo with a series of rapid punches to the face.

BLACK WIDOW’S FATALITY:
Sai Impalement of Death - Twirling both of her sais in her hands, Black Widow generates reddish glows that illuminate on her sais. She then throws her sais at her opponent’s skull impaling them in the forehead. She then jumps into an aggressive run towards her disoriented opponent and executes a jumping reverse hook kick to her opponent’s forehead thrusting the sai weapons further in the skull until only handles are showing. She then walks over to corpse, steps on body of opponent, and yanks the sai weapons out of skull to turn to camera and strikes her winning pose.

Blades of Fury - From fighting stance facing her opponent, Black Widow mythically sprouts eight jagged short katana blades resembling spider’s legs projecting outward from her back, four on left side of back, and four on right side of back resembling spider’s legs. She holds her arms on her respective hips with legs spread apart, executes brief forms of Ninjitsu and then thrust both of her hands forward towards her opponent. The motion then springs forward the eight blades forward parallel to the plane of the ground in sideward rotating silhouette motion at her opponent sequentially impaling her opponent in their upper extremities.

Black Widow can tote a pair of sais with sharpened points at the end to carry in the back of her sash.

Black Widow could look very similar to the picture shown above except she would be wearing a tightly wrapped clothed mask around the lower portion of her face such as Sub-Zero in MK1 or she could be unmasked as the picture shows. She would also have a pair of sais clutched in her hands with the thick red sash wrapped around her waist and the straps hanging down in the front. And she would have a red Japanese emblem on the left side of her costume standing for the Shirai Ryu.

BLACK WIDOW’S END STORY:
After winning the tournament, Shang Tsung’s spell that was cast on her fades away. She regains consciousness of herself and reunites with her sisters Poison Ivy, Frost, Forage, Ricochet, Black Mamba and Alibi along with Scorpion. The traumatic experience of being held as a subservient assassin under Shang Tsung causes Black Widow to do a lot of soul searching and reflection as she disappears into the shadows. Enlightened from the experience after several months, she reunites with her sisters of the, now extinct, Shirai Ryu to discuss alternatives for a new life of philanthropy. Her sisters then meet at a discrete location to discuss the prospects of up starting a new organization dedicated to justice and service to those in need called “Obsidian Light”. As an expert fighter known for her stealth movements, she is hired on as a sensei/combatant/field general for a school that would be dedicated to training a new generation of fighters to serve in the organization. Her expertise will serve as a basis for skilled recruits to serve in the movement against injustice.

POISON IVY’S COSTUME & ALTERNATE:
She can have the traditional ninja garments like Black Widow would except in all white. She could have a white sleeveless gi without rips or tears in the shoulder region of her garment and white trim and loose fitting white ninja pants like a Sashinuki-hakama and shoes with a black Japanese emblem on her left side of her chest symbolizing her alliance with the Shirai Ryu and a white cloth mask or she could be unmasked to showcase her natural beauty in the face (whatever looks better for the visual of the characters and all the kunoichi ninjas for the Lin Kuei and the Shirai Ryu) and a black sash wrapped around her waist to where the ribbons hang down in front of her waist without a bow tied in the front. Her alternate color can be that she wears a darker shade of white sleeveless gi and a darker shade of white loose fitting ninja pants like a Sashinuki-hakama with a white ninja cloth masks or she can be unmasked to showcase her beautiful face, along with a black sash wrapped around her waist to where the ribbons hang down in front of her waist. She would also have a retractable ninja sword on her back that would break down into a metal whip and be able to retract back into a ninja sword. She can have costumes just like Ibuki’s character in Street Fighter IV with a white sleeveless shirt underneath the gi with black wrists pads. And she could wear her hair in a ponytail with a small blade attached to end of it. That way she could swing her ponytail blade to lacerate her opponents in the face if they come into close range. On both costumes she could also wear a white headband to which the ribbons hang down from the back of her head.

POISON IVY’S FIGHTING STYLE:
Upon entering the Shirai Ryu, Poison Ivy had always demonstrated a level of maturity that many elder statesmen in the Shirai Ryu encouraged and sought after. Even in her younger years, she proved to be wise beyond her years as an abandoned child. Because of this level of maturity, she progressed quicker than usual in her initial phases of training. She would learn effective espionage techniques, impersonations, techniques of assassination, discretion and secrecy, as well as advanced levels of Taijutsu. With her progression, she also became the youngest student to learn the Black Arts of the Shirai Ryu. This would make her stand out amongst her ranks as a potential leader and field general. And because of this, Poison Ivy was elected to be given the Retractable Sword reserved for the chosen one of the Shirai Ryu to learn. Spending several years mastering the weapon boosted her demand and status as a skilled assassin for the Shirai Ryu. Her reputation would be elevated so much that she would earn the admiration of Scorpion himself and was taught some of his most sacred and effective harpoon weapon techniques being that the weapons bared similar functions in combat.

POISON IVY’S BACKSTORY:
Poison Ivy, like many of the students of the Shirai Ryu, was brought to the temple steps as an abandon child from a cargo ship that would import either abandon, runaway or orphan children from across the world to East Asia. Being that it may, at an early age Poison Ivy showcased a level of maturity that made her special. Years would past and she would develop into a renown assassin for the Shirai Ryu. But during a typical day Poison Ivy found herself in the midst of a war with the Lin Kuei. The war came at a least expected time for the Shirai Ryu and eventually they would be defeated by the rival clan of ninjas. Along with Black Widow, Forage and Frost she turns out to be one of a few survivors of the massacre of her clan. In the aftermath she migrated to a discrete location to harness and preserve her clans traditions and fighting techniques. After a typical day years after the massacre, their small village was invaded by Shang Tsung and his band of warriors. Making their last stand in the fight against his army Black Widow, Forage, Frost and Poison Ivy and a few others were vastly outnumbered. In the battle, Shang Tsung cast a sorceress spell on both Black Widow and Poison Ivy that disoriented them and took Forage captive and put them under his control. Impressed by their fighting skills Shang Tsung decided to spare their lives. He decided he was going to form an elite group of nine guardians to serve him in Outworld. So her and Black Widow enter the tournament with the intent to protect their warlord under the influence of his spell. As long as they remain under the spell they remain in his control.

POISON IVY’S SPECIALTY MOVES:
Carousel Whip - She performs a standing carousel motion perpendicular to the ground with her whip that when she spins would cut and slice her opponent with a series of lacerations to upper extremities
.
Chaotic Ground Poke - She thrusts her sword in the ground in a crouching position and then the metal whip would extend out of the other side of the ground and hit her opponent suspending them in the air with multiple hits and then she could recoil the whip back to the ninja sword.

Lasso Whip - She rolls out the whip in a circular motion perpendicular along the ground like a lasso slicing her opponent.

Dominatrix Whip - She can have a move where she sort snap the whip like a dominatrix at her opponent striking her opponent.

Ponytail Whip - Swings her head either left or right and the ponytail on her head extends and slaps her opponent in the face with the blade that’s entangled at the end of her ponytail and then retracts back to normal ponytail hairstyle.

Tripping Whip - She can lay her whip on the ground and pull the whip from her opponent’s feet tripping them up in the air.

Metal Whip Wrap - She can launch her whip at her opponent and it would wrap around her opponent and she could then pull the whip back to her and cause her opponent to spin in a full body twists acute to the ground in mid-air and fall down.

Aerial Ninja Sword Slice - Another move can be that she do a leap forward similar to the slow motion training simulation scene between Lawrence Fishbourne and Keanau Reeves in Matrix I, and then slice her opponent with her ninja sword leaving a white streak blur from the sudden slice.

Coiled Ivy Stance - She can have a different fighting stance with the coiled whip clutched around her body to ram her opponent with the jagged edges of her whip. It can look like Shao Kahn’s/Nightwolf’s shoulder charge just with her whip wrapped around her upper torso.

Chaotic Sword Lodge - She could grab and impale her opponent in the front and shards of metal chaotically strike her opponent in the chest and then she dislodge the sword from their front.

Aerial Metal Whip Silhouette - She skip backwards in the air and perform a gymnastic like silhouette move with her whip causing shards of metal to strike her opponent and then she coil back to the whip into a ninja sword. It would look like the scene in “Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon” where Jade Fox escapes the fight scene she has with Li Mu Bai over the brick wall.
Rainbow Impalement - She motions where she points her hand to her opponent and the ninja sword breaks down into a rainbow over her head across the screen and towards her opponent to impale her opponent down to the ground and then retract back into the ninja sword.

Rainbow Impalement & Lift - She motions where she points her hand to her opponent and the tip of the whip impales her opponent and when she retracts the whip back it lifts her opponent in the air leaving them open for more combos.

Rainbow Impalement & Rainbow Lift - She motions where she points her hand to opponent and the tip of the whip impales her opponent and when she retracts the whip back it lifts her opponent in the air in a rainbow motion over her head to the other side of her and slam her opponent on their back with them bouncing up in the air to execute some more combos.

Standard Teleport - Teleports horizontally across the screen or vertically from the top of the screen leaving an image of herself behind before she jumps to a different location.

Slicing Hologram - Poison Ivy, holding her ninja katana blade in hand, flings her intersecting arms backwards bent down on one knee in a kneeling posture to launch a hologram image of herself towards her opponent that executes a series of slices and cuts with her ninja katana sword and then disappears.

Leg Wrap & Stomp - Poison Ivy, flings her whip around the leg of her opponent tripping them and causing them to fall back on their back face up. She then executes a forward ground roll towards her opponent to transition into her fighting stance and continues to stomp on her fallen opponent’s groin area multiple times while holding their leg wrapped in a metal whip. She then recoils the weapon back into the ninja sword.

Swords Shards - With ninja sword in backside hand, Poison Ivy thrust her sword towards her opponent singlehandedly. The sword then extends into a whip and stabs her opponent in the sternum. She then, with her free hand, flings her free hand against the shards of her whip towards her opponent causing a barrage of her swords shards to barrage the upper extremities of her opponent while the whip is lodged in their chest. She then yanks the whip back to retract back into a ninja sword and takes on her fighting stance.

Poison Ivy can look like the picture shown above except she could wear white attire without rips or tears in the shoulder region of her garments and no holes exposing the skin in her white Sashinuki hakama/ninja pants and white ninja shoes with a white ninja clothed mask or she can be unmasked to showcase her beauty and a white garment to conceal the neck region of her body as well as serving as an under garment. And she can have the black Japanese emblem over her heart.

POISON IVY’S FATALITY:
Stab & Cut - From her fighting stance she jumps into a ground roll and from a crouched position impales her opponent in the sternum with a ninja sword, dislodges the sword, stands up and motions in a vertical full body spin with sword extended out shoulder level to decapitate her opponents head off their body while slumped over from initial stab wound.

POISON IVY’S WINNING POSE:
Poison Ivy kneels down with one knee to the floor and head bowed down facing the floor like a football player postures when they’ve scored a touchdown.

POISON IVY’S INTRO:
Poison Ivy drops down from the sky into a crouching position clutching the tip of her sheathe behind her that holds her retractable ninja sword. She then slowly rises to her feet and utters the phrase, “Impulsiveness will only bring your tragedy.” She then motions into her fighting stance.

POISON IVY’S MID-TAUNT:
Poison Ivy simply walks over backward to her location clutching the tip of her sheathe carrying her retractable ninja sword and then motions back into her fighting stance.

Poison Ivy can look similar to the picture shown above except her attire would be in all white and she would have the same exact authentic ninja sword that would break down into a metal whip and retract back into a ninja sword shown above. And she would have a thick black sash wrapped around her waist hanging down in the front of her waist without a bow tied up in the front and a white clothed mask covering the lower half of her face or she could be unmasked in her default costume, whatever looks better for the visuals of the costume.

POISON IVY’S END STORY:
Shortly after the tournament and freeing her sisters of the Shirai Ryu, Poison Ivy goes into a period of reflection about her life. The events of her past with the Shirai Ryu, now extinct, the tournament now over, she has no where else to go. The Divine Nine Legion of Assassins has disbanded and members of the group go their separate ways. The harsh memories take a toll on her as then she goes into isolation to conjure up a new life to live. After a month of reflective thinking, Poison Ivy reunites with her sisters of the extinct Shirai Ryu and decides to turn the negatives of their past life into a force of good. They all link up and form what will be a secret operative group of female ninjas of legendary portions called “Obsidian Light”. This group would take the skills and techniques they’ve dedicated their lives to learn and utilize them as a force of good to enact justice to the abuse of people worldwide not strong enough to escape their situation. With everyone of the former Shirai Ryu members on board for the idea, Poison Ivy and Obsidian Light set forth throughout different parts of the world to recruit people to strengthen their operation.

And she could also have a Neko-Te on one of her hands, and Ashiko spikes protruding from her ninja shoes.

FORAGE’S FIGHTING STYLE:
Being inducted into the Shirai Ryu at an early age, Forage excelled in her initial phases of training. Marked with a fiery and aggressive personality, Forage showcased to her teachers that she was fearless and a natural born fighter. This persona would impress her teachers but needed to be controlled for her fearlessness would lead her into many fights with other members of the Shirai Ryu. The teachings of Ninjitsu help Forage control her rage and channel her pinned up aggression into the appropriate situations. It also taught her to humble herself and to choose her words more carefully. Because her excellence in hand to hand combat, she along with Black Widow learned the black arts of the Shirai Ryu and developed a keen use of the Neko-Te finger claws and Ashiko foot spikes. She specifically learned in her Black Arts training, the arts of morphing into carnivorous animals. This would prove useful in her aggressive style but also provide a good tool to go along with her stand up personality.

FORAGE’S BACKSTORY:
Forage is a loyal member of the Shirai Ryu. She wears red to signify her fiery personality, aggressive spirit and ability to morph into predator-like animals. She, along with a few others, narrowly escaped the initial massacre of her once renown clan. She fled to the upper isolated mountains away from the Lin Kuei to reunite with members Black Widow, Poison Ivy and Frost and a few unnamed others. The distraught of war caused a vengeance amongst the sisters and as a result they took an oath to keep the traditions and culture of their people alive and to take revenge on the Lin Kuei and those responsible. Years later, the remaining survivors of the massacre were hit with another surprise raid this time from Shang Tsung and a band of Outworld warriors. During the course of the raid, Black Widow, Poison Ivy and Forage were taken captive for their fighting skills for purposes of Shang Tsung to form an elite legion of personal assassins to guard him from any threats of opposing forces. To sustain control, Shang Tsung cast a spell from his powerful sorcery and enslaved them for his bidding. Forage enters Mortal Kombat under the influence of Shang Tsung’s treachery to perform the will of her possessor.

FORAGE’S SPECIALTY MOVES:
Wolf Attack: Morphs into a wolf to race towards opponent with a forceful bite from razor sharp fangs then morphs back into human form in a swift motion.
Incinerating Phoenix: Flails her arms forward to generate a fire engulfed phoenix bird laterally towards opponent.

Flying Hawk: Morphs into a hawk/falcon to take flight diagonally upwards towards the sky to strike opponent. Then while in mid-air transitions back into human form to transition into a front somersault.

Eagle Claw: Grows talons of an eagle/hawk/falcon on Neko-Te hand to execute a series of maw strikes at her opponent across the screen laterally leaving scrape marks across the screen. Then hand transforms back to human form with the Neko-Te after the initial quick dashed attack.

Aerial Hawk/Falcon/Eagle: While in mid-air, she morphs into a hawk/eagle/falcon engulfed in fire to dash forward aerially towards her opponent to strike them with razor sharp talons laterally. Then transitions into a front somersault and morphs back into human form.

Hawk Dive Bomb: While in mid-air, she morphs into a hawk engulfed in fire and descends into a dive face first vertically down towards her opponent to crash into bond fire like flame engulfing her and opponent. She then transition into a forward ground roll and morphs back into human form.

Running Bull: From fighting stance, Forage, morphs into a racing bull with the horns out (like the running of the bull in Spain)and bucks her opponent into the air before transforming into human form for a possible air juggle and hand based combos to enact on her airbound or fallen opponent.

Shark Bait - From fighting stance, Forage, lifts up her forward side arm towards the sky, facing her opponent. Then a shark rises from the ground to dive at her opponent's upper extremities and lower extremities before crashing back into the pavement and disappearing.

Backwards Shark Bait - From fighting stance, Forage lifts up her forward side arm towards the sky, facing her opponent. Then a shark rises from the ground to dive at her opponent's upper extremities and lower extremities from behind before crashing back into the pavement and disappearing.

Forage can look like the picture shown above except she could wear red attire without rips or tears in the shoulder region of her garments and no holes exposing the skin in her red Sashinuki hakama/ninja pants and red ninja shoes with a red ninja clothed mask and a garment that conceals all of her neck region or she could be unmasked. And she can have her costume with the black Japanese emblem over her heart.

FORAGE’S FATALITY:
Animal Kingdom - Forage morphs into an boa-constrictor to squeeze the life out of her opponent standing their disoriented. Then morphs into a tiger and maws her opponent on the ground, then morphs into a lioness to maw her opponent more, then morphs into a crocodile to rip her opponent’s body parts and shake limbs in jaws and slams limbs on ground with limbs in jaw, then morphs into an elephant to stomp on her opponent remnants then morphs back into human form to strike winning pose.

FORAGE’S X-RAY MOVE:
Animalistic - Forage throws an elbow to the face of her opponent causing hairline fractures to spread across the skull. The camera showcases internal damage. She then grabs the back of her opponent’s neck with both hands and pulls them into a rising knee as a Muay Thai fighter would motion against their opponent. The camera then showcases the internal damage to the opponent. She then jumps into a jump reverse heel kick to the sternum of her opponent cracking their ribs and sending them flying off their feet falling onto their back facing up.

FORAGE’S WINNING POSE:
Forage turns to the camera and then maws in the direction of the camera with her Neko-Te hand and stares down the camera while growling in the voice of a lioness.

FORAGE’S INTRO:
Forage descends down from the sky or top of the screen as a hawk to the ground in front of her opponent to strike the ground in an explosion of fire. Engulfed in fire, she then emerges from the fire and morphs into her human form. She then utters the phrase, “I need to know with whom I’m dealing with” and she then transitions into her fighting stance.

FORAGE’S MID-TAUNT:
Forage morphs in a flying hawk in a flash of fire to fly to her position on the stage away from her fallen opponent uttering the phrase, “That‘s all you got?” She then morphs back into her human form again in a flash of fire and transitions into her fighting stance.

FORAGE CAN LOOK VERY SIMILAR TO HER COSTUME JUST IN RED AND A RED CLOTHED MASK OR SHE COULD BE UNMASKED WITH A BLACK SASH AT THE WAIST.

FORAGE’S ENDSTORY:
Shang Tsung’s spell would gradually wear off of Forage, after defeating Shao Kahn. She would soon gain consciousness of herself and free her sisters of the Shirai Ryu. Winning the Mortal Kombat tournament came to no surprise to her brethren for they were grateful of her accomplishment. After ending the tournament, Forage would reunite with her sisters and reconnect after their clustered separation from each other. Through this reconnection, Forage would also meet Scorpion, the famed assassin of the Shirai Ryu. With everyone together months would past in trying to search for a new life for themselves. In this search, Poison Ivy would assemble the Shirai Ryu members in a discrete location to present ideas for an upstart organization called “Obsidian Light”. In her proposal she would outline the organizations’ purpose and mission statements to the others providing an alternative way of living and to be a beckon of light to the afflicted. Poison Ivy would cater a specific position to Forage from knowing her on a personal level for many years. In her proposal to Forage she discussed a position for her to be a field general in times of conflict. Being very young, but experienced in war, she would lead a new generation of fighters into battles with strategic thought and precision. She would also be offered a wealthy salary and benefits for her services and become the youngest field general in Shirai Ryu’s history. With no hesitation, Forage accepted the terms being that she loved fighting with her sisters. This marked the beginning of a new era and movement for the extinct Shirai Ryu.

ORCHID’S COSTUME & ALTERNATE:
Orchid can wear a traditional purple sleeveless gi with black wrists guards and a pair of loose fitting ninja pants like a Sashinuki-hakama to allow ease of movement. She then can wear a black Cantonese symbol on the left side of her chest standing for the Lin Kuei ninja clan and a purple ninja shoes. Her alternate attire can be a darker shade of purple with a traditional sleeveless gi and purple loose fitting ninja pants like a Sashinuki-hakama, again to allow ease of movement. She would also have a pair of black wrists guards and a clothed ninja mask in purple to cover her face and conceal the neck region of her body or she could be unmasked to showcase her beauty. With both costumes she would as have a purple sleeveless undershirt. She would also wear a hairstyle in purple flowing hair tied up and pulled back into a ponytail. Orchid can wear a thick purple sash tied around her waist with both her primary and alternate costumes where the straps hang down in the front loosely without a bowtie. And she can wear a purple headband with the straps tied and hanging down her head.

ORCHID’S BACKSTORY:
A loyal foot solider to the Lin Kuei, Orchid tended to be the first line of attack for missions and invasions against long-time enemies of the Lin Kuei. Characterized with a charismatic, outgoing and yet extreme persona, she would often befriend her targets before assassinating them unsuspectingly. This gave her renown honor within the ranks of the Lin Kuei by spearheading most of their missions. She also often times posed as bait for local based missions with her skill of impersonations and espionage techniques, making her an effective tool of deception. Because of this perceived value, she was inducted into the ranks of Black Arts training where she gained the techniques and powers to manipulate and fuse her energy with the energy around her. During the conflict between the Lin Kuei and the Shirai Ryu, she spearheaded the invasion after being informed from their scouting report. She would be promised a promotion as field general with the condition of tracking and finding Sub-Zero shortly after winning the war with the Shirai Ryu. As a result of her service she was given more clout and leverage for decision making in future Lin Kuei endeavors. Consequently after learning of the whereabouts of Sub-Zero shortly after banishing himself from their temple, Orchid along with a few associates were sent by Lin Kuei’s Abbot and other highly ranked Lin Kuei officials to track him down. With her high success rate, Orchid was an obvious selection for the mission. Orchid enters Mortal Kombat as a surging operation ploy to reveal Sub-Zero’s location and repay him for his act of treason.

ORCHID’S FIGHTING STYLE:
As a member of the Lin Kuei, Orchid, was taught like many other of it’s members, the fighting style of Ninjitsu. She has mastered Taijutsu for hand to hand combat scenarios as well as discretion and secrecy, for they are important codes of conduct. She also has experience in espionage techniques and assassinations while throwing capabilities with Hapkido. She can perform impersonations of targeted members of her missions and as an advanced fighter within Lin Kuei she has also learned a variation of Black Arts. Her unique ability allows her to fuse her chemical makeup with energy around her. This enables her to manipulate and sculpt energy as a tool to use against opponents with her hands.

ORCHID’S SPECIALTY MOVES:
Human Bullet - From her fighting stance, Orchid, jumps into a lunge with both of her hands extended out to create a purple illuminated cusp shape aura like a human sized bullet around her lunging body. As she lunges forward towards her opponent parallel to the plane of the ground she strikes them with a dead on impact sending opponent stumbling backwards a bit.

Descending Bullet - From mid-air, Orchid jumps into a lunge downward with both of her hands extended out to create a purple illuminated cusp shape aura like a human sized bullet around her lunging body. As she lunges diagonally downward towards her opponent, she strikes them with a dead on impact sending opponent stumbling backwards a bit.

Aerial Bullet - From her fighting stance, Orchid, jumps into a lunge with both of her hands extended out to create a purple illuminated cusp shape aura like a human sized bullet around her lunging body horizontally across the screen. As she lunges horizontally across the screen towards her airborne opponent, she strikes them with a dead on impact that sends them falling on their back.

Rising Bullet - From her fighting stance, Orchid, jumps into a lunge with both of her hands extended out to create a purple illuminated cusp shape aura like a human sized bullet around her lunging body diagonally upward towards her airborne opponent. As she lunges diagonally upward across the screen towards her airborne opponent, she strikes them with a dead on impact that sends them falling on their back.

Silhouette Drill (directional) - From fighting stance, Orchid, flings her intersecting arms backwards launching a purple illuminated energy that twists and rotates in a spiral silhouette motion towards her opponent and grinds into their chests and upper extremities of her opponent if not properly defended and then disappears.

Aerial Silhouette Drill (directional) - From fighting stance, Orchid flings her intersecting arms backwards to launch a purple illuminated energy diagonally upward that twists and rotates in a spiral silhouette motion towards her opponent and grinds into their chest and upper extremities of her opponent if not properly defended and then disappears.

Extending Uppercut - A enlarged closed fist illuminating in purple extends out in an uppercut motion when Orchid motions into an uppercut. The purple fist launches opponent off their feet into the air and falls down into the pavement landing face up from the impact.

Upper Cutting Stab - She dashes forward into an upper cut motion towards her opponent with a sharpened purple energy glowing from the back of her wrist that launches and suspends her opponent in the air. When the purple energy disappears the opponent drops down from the sky, leaving them susceptible to combos and free hits.

Shove - Orchid cocks back both hands to backside hip and thrust both of them forward. From that motioning a stream of purple energy shoots across the screen pushing her opponent across the screen if not properly defended. It would push them across the screen like Raiden’s superman lunge.

Implosion - Orchid thrusts her backside arm forward in a front snapping open palm motion to the opponent’s sternum sending a surge of purple energy throughout her opponent’s body from her punching hand. The purple energy implodes within the internal makeup of her opponent outward in a sonic force, rendering them disoriented on their knees and open for more combos and free hits.

Energy Burst - Orchid flings her intersecting arms down to her waist and engulfs and enflames herself in a flash of purple energy and disappears to which she transitions into a hyper mode. It is in this mode that her moves are sped up like her actions were being fast forwarded through out the match but it would be only a temporary mode. She would then transition back into normal speed after the hyper mode is temporarily depleted.

ORCHID’S INTRO:
A cut shot panning feet to head showcases Orchid standing with staring at her balled up fists. Her fists then burst into a purple illuminated glow. She then motions into her fighting stance.

ORCHID’S MID-TAUNT:
Orchid executes a series of Ninjitsu based formations and utters the phrase, “You have no backbone, and that‘s why I‘ll win.” She then motions back into her fighting stance.

ORCHID’S WINNING POSE:
Orchid bows down facing the camera on one knee as a football player does when he scores a touchdown in the end zone.

ORCHID’S X-RAY MOVE:
Purple Heart - Orchid grabs her opponent by the arm and strikes the back end of her opponent’s elbow causing a cracking sensation to numb/disable their arm as if it were dislocated. She then throws a crossover left hook to the chin of her opponent crack their jaw line. And finally, she executes a front snap kick to the sternum sending her opponent back on their knees from pain.

ORCHID’S FATALITY:
Suffocation - Orchid walks over behind her disoriented opponent and grapples them from behind as if they were being held hostage. She then raises one of her hands to the sky and generates a surge of purple energy to pulsate from the top of her forearm to the tip of her fingers. She then covers the mouth of her entrapped opponent with her hand pulsating with purple energy while they struggle to get free from her grasp. The purple energy slowly begins to absorb and fuse with her helpless opponent’s body spreading through the upper and lower extremities. Finally, the purple energy incase her opponent and causes them to vomit huge amounts of blood and turn anorexic at a rapid pace. At this point her opponent crawls on their hands and knees from being weighed down. It is at this point, Orchid delivers a kick to the midsection of her opponent, knocking them over on their back face up.

ORCHID’S ENDSTORY:
After winning the tournament, Orchid returns to the Lin Kuei temple exalted from her victory. She receives verbal praise and is celebrated by others as real heroine. During the celebration, a rationale and modest head official of Lin Kuei pulls Orchid over to the side for a private conversation. This official of Lin Kuei prefaced his thoughts by stating he had talked with the Abbot and other ranking members of the Lin Kuei. In anticipation, Orchid braced herself for the news of receiving a promotion to a more prestigious position within the clan. But to her dismay, the Lin Kuei official discussed her valuable contributions to Lin Kuei as an insurgent. In his discussion, he argued that the Lin Kuei needed her to stay where she was positioned to ensure the continued success and dominance of the clan. Stating that there was no one like her that possessed the ability to read an open field littered with potential threats as accurately as she does. No one possessed the cat like reflects to react and engage within a means of continued success as she does. No one garners the admiration and respect of Lin Kuei foot soldiers as she does. He stated the dilemma of if we promote you to another area within the Lin Kuei, we lose your expert scouting skills and the Lin Kuei’s proactive means to engage in warfare with the enemies set on bringing our downfall. We would have to find a comparable replacement and in our eyes that wouldn’t be good enough for what we face on a daily basis. In his final plea, the Lin Kuei official urged Orchid to stay where she was for the sake of the Lin Kuei. Baffled by this strange direction in which their conversation had taken, Orchid stepped back to think over his proposition of staying. In her head, she thought, “Do I forsake what he had just said as bluff and go for the area I’ve worked for?”, “Do I negotiate with the Lin Kuei for bigger and better benefits as a consequence of me passing on a one-time opportunity? Or do I stay loyal to the Lin Kuei and the entire clan and continue to serve in the same capacity? Orchid torn from the dilemma bared a serious toned look in the eyes of the Lin Kuei official.

A bit off topic but since I am not familiar with Donnie Yen, I want to ask what draws people to his movie performances? My uninformed first impression of him is that he a "faster" more "serious" actor when compared to say, a lighthearted actor like Jackie Chan. I watched about 10 minutes of his film and I found it dull.

ALIBI’S COSTUME & ALTERNATE:
Alibi can be Tanya from MK4 just with the given code name. She can wear a traditional sleeveless yellow gi with loose fitting ninja pants like a Sashinuki hakama. She also can have a yellow undershirt beneath her gi and a set of black wrists guards with yellow ninja shoes and a yellow clothed mask to conceal her neck and face or maybe be unmasked. She can have a Japanese emblem over her heart to symbolize her alliance with the Shirai Ryu in black. Her alternate can be a darker shade of yellow with a pair of loose fitting ninja pants like a Sashinuki hakama in a darker shade of yellow. She can also where a yellow undershirt in the same matching color and a pair of darker shaded yellow ninja shoes and clothed mask to conceal her neck and face or be unmasked. Again she can have a black Japanese emblem over the left side of her gi symbolizing her alliance with the Shirai Ryu ninja clan. She could also have a black sash tied around the waist on both costumes where the straps hang down in the front. She can also wear a headband with a crystalline structure in the middle of the headband, to generate the source of her psychic beams.

ALIBI’S BACKSTORY:
Alibi, unlike many others, came into the Shirai Ryu at a later age. She was looked upon as a late bloomer by many in the clan. So by the time she had gotten to the age of fighting, her skills weren’t as keen and honed as the others. To make up for weakness in physical ability, she had a mastery of spoken language. She could speak seven different languages (including English, Spanish, French, Japanese, Italian, Russian, and Swahili). She also possessed a well-keened skill of persuasion, and possessed a born psychic ability to read and control people’s minds and because of this skill she was given the initial code name of “Alias“. Although in other circles, these skills might have been looked upon as great, the Shirai Ryu saw her skills as inferior. She often would stay behind on missions and be restricted from learning any advanced fighting techniques. But eventually she would gain the trust and respect of the heralded Scorpion and became his student. Being older than his usual students, Scorpion had to demonstrate patience with her, a virtue he wasn’t use to exhibiting as a Sensei.

The initial phases of their training were routine until the Lin Kuei decided to abruptly end their training by waging a war. Being at novice level of fighting she fought well in the war but witnessed the death of her Sensei. Tormented she fled to a nearby town until the war receded. Months later she would be visited by Scorpion’s specter in random visions and dreams in her sleep. These visions drove Alibi to fight in the Mortal Kombat 4 tournament where ironically enough, part of her identity would be compromised. Tanya, as it was later revealed, had her focus affected with the leak in personal information. The leak in information would cause her mind to wander about other things instead of focusing on her opponent, causing an early round defeat in the tournament. She would also reunite with her former Sensei, Scorpion in the tournament. Scorpion saw that she competed well in the tournament and respected her efforts but scolded her to her face. Feeling that her skill was average at best, he demanded that she train harder, and mediocrity was not acceptable as a member of the Shirai Ryu. So with the events unfolding, and Shirai Ryu now extinct, she went into an isolated location to train with the resurrected Scorpion to instruct her on occasion. This time in her life represented a period of purification from her former self. She was given the new code name “Alibi” by Scorpion himself and honed her psychic abilities into a useful fighting weapon against foes. Alibi enters Mortal Kombat for redemption and for her resurrected Sensei.

ALIBI’S FIGHTING STYLE:
As a member of the Shirai Ryu, Alibi was trained initially in Ninjitsu and Hapkido fighting styles at a novice level but because of her physical limitations she was not trained in any advanced techniques by her Sensei Scorpion. Her training would pick up and she would be taught the full principles of Ninjitsu by Scorpion. In her continued teachings she proved to have developed proficient skills in Taijutsu in hand to hand combat, as well as espionage techniques. Being low key in nature, discretion and secrecy came natural to her, highly regarded principles within Ninjitsu she mastered very quickly. She also was taught the Black Arts of the Shirai Ryu from Scorpion and honed her abilities as a psychic to use as a main tool of attack against her opponents. She has quick, precise and stealth movements which are trademark qualities of the Shirai Ryu ninjas. Not necessarily known as an assassin, her more recent assignments have been infiltration of enemy quarters.

ALIBI’S SPECIALTY MOVES:
Standard Teleport - Alibi teleports either vertically or horizontally across the screen leaving a blinking image of her behind.

Psychic Blast - Alibi motions her hands over the temples of her head to generate a blast of sonic energy from her forehead across the screen that stuns her opponent.

Upward Psychic Blast - Alibi motions her hands over the temples of her head to generate a blast of sonic energy from her forehead diagonally upward towards her opponent. The beam stuns them and knocks the airborne opponent out of the air to the ground.

Downward Psychic Blast - Alibi motions her hands over the temples of her head to generate a blast of sonic energy from her forehead at the feet of her opponent causing a sonic explosion. This explosion launches her opponent in the sky and provides an opportunity for her execute a series of combos/juggles to execute on her airborne opponent.

Crouching Psychic Blast - Alibi is bent on one knee in crouching position. She then motions her hands over the temples of her head to generate a blast of sonic energy from her forehead across the screen. The beam strikes the lower extremities of opponent, knocking the feet of her opponent from underneath them sending them face first to the ground.

Psychic Sphere - Alibi motions her hands over the temples of her head to generate a sonic force field from her forehead, forming a spherical shaped ball to incase her. This allows her to temporarily ward off any projectiles thrown at her and also acts as a barrier to physical hits. It delivers a mild level shock to opponent blowing them back up off their feet across the screen falling on their back facing up if psychic barrier is physically touched. The sphere then disappears.

Magnetic Psychic Beam - Alibi motions her hands over the temples of her head to generate a blast of sonic energy from her forehead that incases her opponent’s body. She then retracts her psychic beam back to her forehead dragging her disoriented opponent towards her in close range to execute a series of combos and free hits to disoriented opponent.

Psychic Suffocation - Alibi motions her hands over the temples of her head to generate a blast of sonic energy from her forehead that incases her opponent’s body. The beam shocks her opponent into disoriented state. Opponent then stumbles to a bended knee position gasping for air, leaving them open for a series of combos or free hits to be delivered on her opponent.

Repellant Psychic Beam - Alibi motions her hands over the temples of her head to generate a blast of sonic energy from her forehead that repels her opponent across the screen against the wall.

Rising Psychic Beam - Alibi motions her hands over the temples of her head to generate a blast of sonic energy from her forehead that launches and suspends her opponent in mid-air temporarily to free fall to the ground. This provides an opportunity for Alibi to execute a series of combos/air juggles on her opponent.

Psychic Sphere of Chaos - Alibi motions her hands over the temples of her head to generate a sonic force field from her forehead, forming a spherical shaped ball to be launched across the screen. If not properly defended, the sphere traps her opponent in the sphere and generates a series of psychic beams to chaotically ricochet off the walls of the sphere, scoring Alibi with multiple hits before disappearing.

Mental Beam – Alibi motions her hands over the temples of her head to generate a sonic laser beam from her forehead, forming a small illuminating aura around and incasing the head of her opponent in a flash of energy causing disorientation, confusion and disabling her opponent for a brief moment.

Third Eye Beam – Alibi motions her hands over the temples of her head to generate a sonic laser beam to upper extremities of her opponent rendering them into a slow motioned hologram image. This also causes her opponent’s attacks to become temporarily harmless and see through giving Alibi an ample chance to execute another series of combos and hits on her opponent before her opponent materializes back into themselves.


Alibi can look like the picture shown above except she could wear yellow attire without rips or tears in the shoulder region of her garments and no holes exposing the skin in her yellow Sashinuki hakama/ninja pants and yellow ninja shoes with a yellow ninja clothed mask concealing the neck region as well as her face. And she can have the sleeveless gi with the black Japanese emblem over her heart.

ALIBI’S FATALITY:
Psychic Gamma Ray - Alibi, within long range, stands with an illuminated glow pulsing from her head and strains with her chin up from a burst of sonic energy to generate vertically to the sky. She then motions her head down towards the ground to generate a trail of sonic energy to race across the pavement to her opponent’s feet and engulf them in a sudden explosion of light. The light suddenly melts away her disoriented opponent into thin air.

ALIBI’S WINNING POSE:
Alibi turns to the camera and raises her right arm in victory.

ALIBI’S INTRO:
Alibi drops down vertically from top of the screen into a discrete, low key crouching position and slowly stands up to transition into her fighting stance with a stoic facial expression at her opponent.

ALIBI’S MID-MATCH TAUNT:
Alibi turns to the camera and raises her right arm in victory. She then stretches/adjusts herself and attire and motions back into her fighting stance.

ALIBI’S X-RAY MOVE:
Psychic Phenomenon - She cocks back her hand and thrust it forward in a front hook jab to the face of her opponent cracking their jaw line. She then motions into a back fist towards her opponent’s sternum. The camera showcases the internal damage of the rib cage. She then motions with her hands over her the temples of her head and yanks her opponent into a dashing elbow. This sends them back peddling and grimacing in pain grasping their face for a possible string of combos to be executed.

Alibi can wear a traditional yellow sleeveless gi with a black thick sash wrapped around her waist and a yellow headband with a crystalline structure in the middle that would glisten and be the source of her psychic abilities.

ALIBI’S END STORY:
After winning the tournament, and freeing her sisters of the Shirai Ryu, Alibi, gained a new level of respect that she had never experienced within the ranks of her former clan. So much so, that her rival clan members Poison Ivy and Black Widow befriended her and inducted her into the Shirai Ryu’s inner circle. This would mark as a transitioning period of renewed friendship for the sisters. After several months had past the sisters had began to search for other means to live now, now that the Shirai Ryu was extinct. Alibi was offered a proposal from Poison Ivy. In this proposal she was offered to be the face and gate keeper of an upstart secret operative group called “Obsidian Light”. Poison Ivy laid out the detailed description of her offered position after months of thought and planning, as to be a recruiter/filter/combatant/and infiltrator with her skills of spoken language and persuasion. There would be a bonus of a wealthy salary and benefits. Alibi would spend a few days thinking the transition over with advice of her Sensei Scorpion and decided to jump aboard with Scorpion being their first recruit to oversee the organizations’ operations.

RE: Idea for New Character: Alibi

What do you guys think about the characters: Alibi, Black Widow, Poison Ivy, Obsidian Blue, Forage, Orchid and Red Virtue. There all standout characters in the game I think they would be and there are female Kunoichi ninjas with standout specialty moves and great characters looks in their attire.
