Can I visit Netherrealm Studios ?

I live near NRS and I'm wondering if it's open for visitors. Do you guys know anything ?

"Unfortunately, due to the sensitive nature of what we create at the studio, we are unable to allow tours."

Maybe if you ask really nicely and bring gifts. Or cake. They like cake.

RE: Can I visit Netherrealm Studios ?

No, unless you're part of a HHHHHHHHUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGEEEEEE gaming related company (another software house, press/internet sites, game apparel/gadgets, etc) and have a HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGGGGGGGEEEEEEEEEE permission by either NRS Staff or WB, you are not allowed to get in.

Plus, I highly doubt that Ed Boon and his team are eager to receive their fans. They make sure to be asked all the same question and every time someones tries to ask something different than planned they just say "Sorry, I cannot speak about it!" as if a new character or trailer for an upcoming game is worthy of CIA/NSA treatment.

Right now, Ed Boon and his team just exist to make games and make a plenty of dollars for WB.
They have no interest in fans, outside their milking and occasional (guided) Q&A sessions.

So, already expect the next game to have top notch graphics, hihgly cinematic story mode, great gameplay, great online (at least on consoles) and shitty/lacking all the rest. Minimum effort, maximum gain.

You can absolutely get in.

Dress well and ask nicely at the doors... They will get you in.

RE: Can I visit Netherrealm Studios ?

Maybe I can disguise as delivery guy and bring them some pizza and beer. I don't think theres a door bell so they'll have to let me in

And I don't really wanna know nothing for the upcoming MK projects (I'll ask them what happened to Noob tho). I just wanna meet booN and the rest of the MK team and look around the studio as if I'm in a museum. Maybe I'll steal something for a souvenir

My brother had the chance to sneak into BioWare Montreal once. He was staring at the door and a silly Canadian put in their code and then held the door open for him, was just gonna let him in. My brother didn't go for it.

Just loiter outside, that's my advice...then again it's Chicago.

Many Studios have waiting rooms for guests or delivery guys.
Not that I won't believe what You've said, but in this time of secrecy even for videogames......

Oh I'm sure it was just the main door to their offices and nowhere special. From the decription it was just another door in a business park. My guess is that some intern or something and assumed he was heading in for a meeting or something and was just being Canadian about it.

RE: Can I visit Netherrealm Studios ?

I was there last year after Kombat Kon (Same weekend) when we pitched the MK Encyclopedia to them.

All I did was walk in and wait in reception and eventually was good to go.

Maybe one day I'll probably make more of an impact than you'll ever fake. Sign the official petition for an MK LORE ENCYCLOPEDIA: http://www.thepetitionsite.com/553/418/526/mk-fans-unite-we-want-an-mk-lore-encyclopedia/?taf_id=13672050&cid=fb_na#

Yeah and play versions of MK games that include fighters and stages that aren't included in the official releases
