Xavier Woods is Raiden in WWE Immortals

As part of the WB Interactive Entertainment empire; NetherRealm Studios have excelled as a free-to-play mobile developer famed for counterparts to their console fighting games Mortal Kombat and DC Injustice. Since 2015, they've also turned the wrestling world on its head in the over-the-top, mobile exclusive fantasy fusion: WWE Immortals!

Johnny Cage left the Hollywood backlot to enter the ring in a 2015 franchise crossover. Now in the next big Immortals challenge, a WWE superstar will be infused with the powers of a thunder god!

You might remember Xavier Woods from UpUpDownDown's tour of NetherRealm Studios, his various internet videos, or as one-third of World Wrestling Entertainment's bootylicious Tag Team Champions: The New Day! Thanks to WWE Immortals, he gets to live out the fantasy of becoming Raiden!

The Immortals challenge is part of a Mortal Kombat 25th Anniversary celebration that's putting the thunder god front and centre in all NetherRealm domains! Fans can also currently download Raiden as a playable character for the DC fighting game: Injustice 2!

RE: Xavier Woods is Raiden in WWE Immortals

Spoilers for Hell in a Cell:

The Usos are beating up Big E and Kofi in the cell. Jimmy is grinding Big E's face into one side of the cell, and Jey is grinding Kofi's face into the other side. Xavier runs down in his straw hat. He teleports into the cell into the middle of the ring. Everybody stops to look at him like WTF. Then he makes a lightning bolt hit the cell and Big E and Kofi both push The Usos into the electrified cell and win the match. New Day are champions. The (Big) End. Xavier says Have a nice day. Toot toot.
