other programmers already made it for mugen. i forget the character it was used on. i downloaded it from a japanese site a while back.

anyway i didnt know smoke had it until i seen the new vids. i seen a vid around e3 i think where noob had it...guess they gave it to smoke instead.

meat has the exact same move only he drops into a puddle of blood instead of smoke

Yeah I think your right because I made this move for Kobra that I saw Taven had.I am really serious only they added and took off some stuff.

That animation was awesome.

I believe they do borrow ideas. Smoke's Stinky Cloud in MKD was a move I created in a past thread for him based on attacks he could have. the only difference was the name. I called it Choke/Veil and they renamed it.

Here's the original idea as I wrote it:

Choke/Veil

Use a smokey haze, Smoke can render the opponent immobile by making them choke on the smoke or veiling their vision for a short while allowing for a free attack. The enemy can be seen coughing and spluttering or even trying to waft the smoke away.


They even took the animation for the opponent right out of that. It's all good. Lol!

Boon did take the fan created character Ermac, put him in the actual MK universe, and fleshed him out with a unique move set and storyline. I was just surprised to see this teleport!

Btw I swear I saw a MKA vid of Noob having just the opposite of Smoke's teleport where he falls forward, and then rises up on the other side backwards.

I believe they didn't steal anything.

It’s only logical to come up with the moves they came up with.

His offense has to be smoke, so the stinky cloud only makes sense.

And they're given everybody a teleport, so Smoke's doesn't surprise me at all.

The fans ideas are so simple, then they think they're being stolen.

I'd like to think that many fans' posts, including mine, helped influence the way Rain came out for MKA. I've always said that he needed to focus more on his water powers. I might be dead wrong, but it's nice to dream. :D

For the longest time I was going on about my idea that Rain was Raiden's half-mortal/half-god son, and now we have Taven/Daegon who are half-mortal/gods of an Edenian god.

They do pay attention to these forums. I wouldn't be surprised if some people's KAKs showed up as next gen characters.
