drahmin is a better character than frost (imo). although frost does have some nice long combos. i guess only ed and co. can answer your question, but your not the first to wonder that.

Thank you aurorasaurus I wasn't sure if this issue had been brought up before.I haven't unlocked Drahmin yet even though I have the coinage , but he looks funny with all the flys buzzing around him.


Is he good to use?

Drahmin's combos consist of Juggles as he has no combos such as X, X,Y etc. You have to pop your opponent up and such.
I think they put Frost so cheaply in the Krypt to make her hard to find. I haven't opened them all yet, but I have all the characters with a completed Konquest, but when I was looking for Frost, as she was the last one, I couldn't find her because I was looking for expensive koffins. It was only chance that I found her.
Or it could be so that new players can afford to unlock a character nice and quickly (if they find her).

drahmin is easy to use, but hard to master. hes quiet fun. im pretty crappy with drahmin, my friend rushes me with his insanely hsu and kano, and i find drahmin very difficult to use in arcade mode due to the cpu's percise reaction times. in my opinion he is better than frost (in terms of playing versus). in arcade the cpu falls for frosts ground freeze a lot making her more effective in that area.

Frost is the only character I've unlocked yet. I'm saving up to buy Hsu Hao.

I have found that sapphire koins are the most common anyhow and build up very quickly.

I have yet to unlock either Nitara or Drahmin because not quite enough koins yet.

Gold koins are coming around very slowly, so getting Nitara will be a little longer. Drahmin will be this evening for sure though.

it seems random to me. sometimes u get a lot of a certain kind (i.e jade), and other times u get a lot of something else. i used to think a certain type was more common but now after playing arcade a lot it seems random. besides onyx and plat which u get in mini games of course.

hsu hao rocks. unlocked him yesterday and have been using him a lot. he has a great wrestling guessing game.

1 - high throw 19% damage
-> + special - low throw

and his wepons have the same function as kano. he rocks in my opinion. kicks ass in versus! and extremely fun to use! a lot of people knock the way he looks, but once u see how brutal he can be in action you start to realise how cool he is. hope hes in the next mk game, definately my fave so far.

Yah, haha, I was buying all the large coffins, since those prolly contained all the secret characters and arenas. I had all but frost, and was like WTF!! There aren't anymore large coffins!!! . Then I stumbled acrossed her.

Drahmin is SWEET!!! No auto crap, cough, I mean combos. Just strait up juggles and set ups. The way it should be. Peace and love ya'll.

ive yet to unlock hsu hao, reptile, cyrax and drahmin.
at least 2 of them will be unlocked tonight though :)
