As we all know, Shang Tsung and Quan Chi are fought seperately in MKDA. I had noticed that one of the buttons on the PS2 controller (L2) was not mapped to perform a certain move. Then my brain started to tick.

I came upon the idea that the decisive battle would be much enjoyable to play if the chosen character was able to fight Shang Tsung and Quan Chi at the same time.

Because of the fact that L2 has no use, it could be used to switch between which enemy you would wish to face. I think that this nice addition could open new strategizing options and slightly increase replay value. Does anyone share my thoughts or think otherwise?

be a bit too much like a wrestling game. or that xena game on 64. the only games that were 2+ players (fighting games) that i liked were street fighter alpha 3 dramatic survival mode. interesting idea, but i personally don't like it.

picture it, your in the middle of a sweet style brance and tsung's low poke stops it, so you try again and again poke. it would be more annoying than fun.

Maybe they could switch in the match so that one dissapears and the other reappears, then you can fight both in one match and you wouldn't have to use a "switch" button.

DOA3 used it too, and might i say it could be implemented without a lot of difficulty.
