i could be wrong but i tried kabal's u+3 and it seemed to be overall weaker than using (1)3 as his launcher. I did the kabal 56 against sindel and maybe quan chi. I try to have variety becuase i want to display each figheter, arena, and costume in the video.

Insane with that sareena 5x knives. I won't even attempt it. I have done 4xknives twice but i mess up at the end. If you can cap in the quality and stuff I listed please do. I'm looking forward to wrapping things up here.

I found a weird thing with blaxe. do 2..and then D+1.. the oppoent will lie down in midair and then you can move in for more hits. kinda like scorpions F+1.U+2 trick in mkd. except the mka engine doesn't count it as a continuing combo. It's probably escapable to. so check here is a list of things i probably will notbe able to do sareena 45, sheeva 90, sonya anything ending with tawe kwon do after 1124 in kali sticks, and for some reason nightwolf's 45. I just can't catch them with 111cs after the 23 rush. that's all I got now. later,

you really need to know though, sheevas 90 is very easy, so is nightwolfs, hardest one is probably sonya 42, her 41is easy

but sheevas is simple, just when u start the next 22cs1, press cs and 2 at the same time, like so

22cs1,cs+2 2cs1, cs+2, 2cs1,4

i cant make it any simpler than that, it is an exact timing, it doesnt give u any free frames for a while to switch back into KUATAN, thats why u gotta press cs and 2 at the same time, just see the earliest u can cs, and thats when i know when to press 2 as well.... really it is quite simple

nightwolfs only works in one direction, characters back to camera, your chest to camera, thats the only way it works.

sonya, no idea how to help... i will get her 42 for u tommorow, i would say saturday is my last day recording anything for a while

what about this for a parry cancel combo? mavado cant get 11b2 in long fist to connect after 114 114, if he could he would have 72. but, if you somehow were fast enough to parry cancel INTO the 11b2, you would get that extra amount of space that you needed. is this possible?

the sonya 44 is a big character only combo i believe, i have not gotten it to work on anyone besides motaro.

i think the only combo ive done that you said you have not gotten was sonya 44 is that true or is there more?

I've been trying sheeva's 90 for a while tonight. I can see your suggestions helping but I leep hitting the wrong button. A couple times i got it to work but the last string of hits was too far away. Most of the time I press 2 and cs at the same time but it gives me the 2 in weapon stance so it kills the combo immediately.

The sub-zero du2..12..113cs combo did 41% for me. are you sure it isn't a diff combination for his 50%? The following combos at this time are too hard for me so I probably will need check or nukes to submit them for the video:

sonya anything past 39
scorpion 53
reptile that ends with 411B+1 or so for like 34% or more
smoke jump kick combo for like 49%
sektors 57 that ends with two hits in weapon for like 66% i guess.

Check - thats cool man, im usually the same way about that. see my xbox has a cord from the a/v out port that has BOTH composite AND s-video, so what i do, is have my TV right next to my monitor using the composite and the s-video going into my computer. i set dscaler to record, and turn my monitor OFF, and then i play normally on the TV with no lag at all, and when i get the combo i just stop and edit. i can understand with the lag because its true, all recording programs typically introduce a small lag of what is being shown on the monitor and what is actually happening on the console.

between the two of us, nukes and I actually came up with a kobra 44% combo.he found it first but i had planned it and gave up on it earlier. for the record, I'll give him the credit.

Weapon: DB4..22..cs..1..1..22B+2.
I also got the sindel 72 to work:

weapon: U+1.cs.111.11cs4..cs..11cs4..44. works on kahn and motaro but not sure about others.

nukes has sonya at 44% with weapon: F+1.1124.112. works on jax so far.

You know you are cool. And here's why. All day long. You find combo's while stuffing your face with sara lee cakes and and tons of soda that would cause acne pours to break out. And hate you when you go and rub your face and spread your fungus around.

As far as your combo's go. I could careless how 1337 you think you are. You hypocrite. I never, would, nor have i used your? combos or should i say combos midway inplanted into the game.

i did a video of MyQueenSindels discovery with nitara that she can cancel air delay by using her blood air spit special move, but i took it even further with finding that it works after 332 in kama.

as it looks now nitara is the only character that can cancel delay in the air using a special move, but it might work for the other air projectile characters maybe like tanya? who else has air projectiles?

I have updated the thread again for some tips on the combos. I know that only a few people read this and already know about what I'm working on, but for those who don't here is the plan.

I am making an MKA combo tribute video that features the ground combos of the game. It will not include wall, air, or glitch combos since those have been already done and potentially exhausted.

Right now the video is around 20 minutes long. The only thing left is some conversion of combo clips. Once that is done i will render the video and put it out here for everyone to view or download. I have been working on this since early october and I hope that everyone will enjoy it. As more information comes in i will continue to update this thread...even though only about three people read it.

MINION - thanks you should give MyQueenSindel props to for finding that originally as well! however nitara's regular air cancel is easiser and does more damage, but since this uses a special move it borders on the line of legitmacy. if you can pull that off in a match, its totally legit in my eyes.





JFCalibur88 - dude, thank you man for making this video, i love watching all of the videos that you create and i personally think this genre of combo videos is one of the newest and most fresh forms of art. it gives a chance to showcase some extreme creativity and originality!

After a few tips from check the other day, I was able to put into practice some combos using the parry cancel. For the record a parry cancel is doing the parry but then doing another attack just as the parry animation begins. When done correctly this will move your fighter a tad closer to the enemy; thus allowing more pokes and farther reach for combos.

So far I have gotten this to work with sub-zero. Check has a lot more to contribute so I will only name these two.
shokan: DU2.12.12.Parry cancel into 11(3)cs = 56%. I can only get his 3 or his cs to connect..never both.
shokan: DU2.12.12.Parry cancel into 12..BF2 = 57%.. I have tried ending with 124 and then rush or even 2 in kori blade but usually the 4 in 124 misses. Some times it is 1(2)4 but since the 2 misses and the 4 is low, they are already too close to the ground for a shoulder charge or additional hit. This is just what I have so far. I am sure more will come in time.

I did try somethings with scorpion but either I am too slow or my idea doesn't work. Thanks again to check for pointing this out to me.

One more thing. This may not be new but I was able to get kenshi open air to 50% using controller 2. It is the same as his 48 but amazingly he can do 4 pokes with 2 after the slam.

Weapon:U+2.cs.2.2.2.BDB1.2.2.2.2.DB4 =50%.
My tips for this one are to not move forward for your first 3 pokes and to do them quickly. Also, the tele slam needs to be done fast and as they are bouncing and kenshi starts to get back into ready postion...hold forward and do the 4 pokeswith 2 very quickly. Kenshi's 2 poke, IMO, is the fastest poke in the game and if you start early enough he can do those 4 pokes. Finish with his tele throw and there you have it. Again, I did not "invent" this. either check or someone probably did it but I wanted to at least include it since I now know that it works.

for the record, i PMd u about kenshis 50 last week and how it wasnt new and in mkd already bla bla bla.. but u make it seem like i didnt PM u about it at all, weird.

also, if u have a character that only the 56 works on, use a different character, and make sure you are facing the same way to the camera as the opponent ( chest or back, either of when u backdash, make sure if ur opponents back to is camera, yours is too )

and yes, kenshis 2 in tai chi is the best jab in the game.

About frost's 1122 as a poke..wow. Once again something I forgot to try. It was like jarek and ermac for me. You know how at first we thought pokes could only be partial combos and not full (like havik's 41). Doing 222 with havik in weapon has too much delay so that he can't go into his other branch in tang soo do. That is why we thought partial combo pokes were the best. but to try a full one for frost..wow. now you got us with the jarek thing using a full 13444 but man I feel like I have not put enough time in this game.

I see what you mean now with the back to camera stuff for nightwolf. i tried sindel's 72 again and made sure to end with 443 instead of just 44. you were right, it misses. Also, about other parry glitches...I stated in another post how you revealed them to me. I didn't want to mess them up so I suggested that maybe you could put them in the thread. That way I wouldn't mess them up or anything. i'm having trouble still with reiko doing anything after his special "miss" of 113 in martial arts stance. i can't do a double branch or even throw darts.I have tried p2 and big fighters. I hope now things are good.keep them coming check, I love it when you find new things for mka.later.
p.s. i dont' mean to mis-inform but if I do, I appreciate the point out. I hate being wrong but it's good to put credit where it belongs and to also keep guides as error-free as I can.

I am still trying out the things that check told me about. Like with the parry cancel. I did some touch ups on the music, was able to do nightwolf's 45, and re-did sindel's 72 until I was able to end with 443. And yes, the 3 does miss unfortunately. I have parry canceled with sub-zero so many times but his 3 in 113cs won't stop missing. I have tried having opponet's posture match mine as well as the opposite. That was only useful to me for nightwolf's 45; basically having the opponet turned so their back was to you. Check pointed that out to me. But with sub's du2..12..12..PC..113cs I can only do 56 with the missed 3 or 57% by doing three strings of 12 after the ice fountain and ending with cold shoulder. Oh well. Same with mavado. I can't PC quick enough to do 3 strings of 114.

So as for the video...it's finished but it keeps getting updated. kind of like a college textbook. lol. or even the most expensive computer. Once you buy it...it's out of date. Even if I released my video and everything was in it that we know about, it would be out-of-date on the next discovery.
