I've been toying around with a kinda funny concept involving Shao Kahn and the ghetto culture.

Shao Kahn decides to walk out in Earhtrealm during MK3. When he decided to hijack people's houses, he ran into a copy of GTA San Andreas. He is entranced by it and soon enough, he decides to imitate the characters. Soon enough, he learns of Scalding Cappucino (Hot Coffee joke) and opens him to a major rule: Get a lot of women. So he decides to do unspeakable things to each of his female victims. eventually, Liu Kang beats the living Shit outta Kahn, knocking him out of the Ghetto life.

i'd like to get a bit of input. I'm bound to do more when I can.

Are you serious on that comment or is sarcasm in the comment? If sarcasm is in the comment, by all means, tell me what's wrong. If you're serious, glad you like the rough overview.

It was sarcastic. I appreciate you being nice about it, so I will try to help you out.

OK, your story has nothing. It has no content. It has no structure. It has nothing.

Most people aren't born with decent creative writing skills. You see,

Ideas don't make up stories.

Events (driven by plot) do.

''Shao Kahn does this, then he does this which is really cool, then this funny thing happens and then an explosion goes off''.

That's a lot like with the stupid writing for, lets say, Mortal Kombat Annihilation.

''Wouldn't it be cool to have Mortal Kombat characters...IN THE BIG SCREEN?'' . That's pretty much the ''story''. The events are hardly driven by the ''plot'', they're all driven by ideas. ''Ok, we want to see Sub-Zero fight Scorpion''. Was there a reason given for it in the movie? Not really. Just the fact that it happened in the games, therefore, it would be cool to see in LIVE ACTEEON.

OK, so in your case, which is comedy, usually it's good for things not to make sense and just be silly, but I guess that's a different lesson for another day- how to be funny. You don't quite grasp it yet.

Still, just writing down a bunch of ideas won't entertain anyone. EVERYONE gets loads of ideas, images in their minds, all the time, believe it or not. Maybe some guy the other day was watching a documentary about knights or something, and thought ''wouldn't it be cool to see Kung Lao in a knight armor rather than his usual clothes?'' (obviously this is all just an example). That isn't really something he should go online and write and say ''hey look at this!''.

Get it?
