I'm not sure what's hapening, but it looks o.k. I have a feeling others won't think the same.

Um...hmm,I don't see what's happening.

Yes! Finally some sprite editing! The scene looks pretty cool, and the edits are pretty nice.

It looks like "Hell" is coming from above. (Planks are bending down)
Can barely tell how Nightwolf is dying. I'm guessing the hell skulls are tearing him apart.
The sprite edit you did on Shang Tsung is good, but his head is kinda funny looking. He should be looking towards the ground. It looked like somthing jerked his head up.

No, that's definitely spaghetti sauce coming down, & not Hell.

I had to jump in here before UR's head got too big with all the compliments for finally "editing" some sprites... in other words, copy and paste!
No editing done here, aside from an overlay of red put on Nightwolf for the wound effects. Those don't look so hot that way as it is. There is no wound, just red colored skin. I'm willing to bet that this wasn't edited either, but a pre-fab
Blood is the same as always (high punch spray from MK3) which is even more copy and paste... I'm surprised that no one has pointed this out before.
And really, that red stuff looks poorly done, like you couldn't decide if you wanted it red or gray at first or you used a poor choice on the layer blending options, because it is really desaturated and flat looking. It has no body or volume.
Anyway, congratulations on "editing" this by rotating Nightwolfs bow and adding a drop shadow behind Tsung's hands.
BTW, since when did Tsung have dominion over Hell? He can control souls, but not the ones he doesn't physically remove through magic... So the green power and red effect don't go well, unless of course you release this on Christmas.

Thanks, thought I’d spice it up a lil. The main edits consist of the hell spire, with more subtle ones made to the shadows and Nightwolf’s blood and bow.

Good points. Since hell is more of a concept than an actual place, the spire generated on demand. The full extent of Shang Tsung’s powers can be seen here. It’s a much more concentrated and powerful version of his hellfire skull summons.
