I propose a fan fiction game
Raiden boomed "NO!" and grabbed keith's hand "Listen to me well, I will not bring this choice on her anymore, he has suffered enough, I made the decison, you will not leave" he slammed keith to the ground and began to glow bright, the markings on both goddess and god began to glow, mage blacked out "I REFUSE TO LOSE EITHER OF YOU!" raiden boomed and looked at keith "I mean it...." there was a flash of light, all three gods vanished, the storm ended
hours later mage woke up..."where am I..." she looked around "keith, raiden?"
Keith was in a dreamstate when he heard Mage's voice. Keith woke up with a start, still thinking he was fighting Raiden. "What th- Where am I?" Keith looked over and saw Mage sitting up. "Good, you're okay." Keith felt relieved. He couldn't lose her. "But where are we?"
Mage shrugged "I have no idea" she looked around "looks like some room in an old japanese palace or something" she looked at her hands, they where covered in markings "this is not good, keith look at your hands" his where just as covered "raiden must have done this but where is he..."
"What the hell is this?" The markings were similar to the ones they already had. But they were deeper, with more characters in it. "Oh no he didn't. He just gave us a permenant seal. But, just for this ocassion, i had found a way out. None only to a little takatan that hid out in my apartment for a while." Keith took out a scroll. "Mage, this can only work for one of us, so you have it."
Mage took the scroll "still, we need to find raiden and calm him first, he could do this a number of times" mage sighed "remember he was an eldergod, he can bend the rules because of that" she heard footsteps but they stopped "I wonder who that was" she felt a surge of energy then the scroll get ripped from her hand "wha?" raiden stood before them both "good you are both awake" he smiled
"Three questions Asshole!!! One, where the hell are we?!? Two, what did you do exactly!?! And three, when are you giving me my fucking scroll back?!?"
Raiden laughed "one you are in my home, sky temple, two, I only cemented the bond mage created and three..." he teleported the scroll away "not anytime soon" he sighed "I will let you cool down, I just wanted to make sure there wasn't any perminate damage" mage stood up "you can't do this, we all have to make choices, you can't make them for us, let keith decide what he feels is right or wrong right now, I am willing to let him do that and allow him to return if he needs to or wants to" raiden sighed "if he became an elder god, we would not see him again mage, they would not let him leave, not after my exit" mage sighed "its not our say..." raiden looked at keith "I will let you two rest for now, I will be by in a few hours to make sure you are both fully recovered" he kissed mage and put his hand on keith's shoulder "and to see if you calmed any" he teleported out
Keith was in shock. It went from Raiden and him fighting, to him flying, to him waking up and Raiden telling him he needs to calm down. Something was up. "Mage, I'll be back." Keith zipped away, he couldn't find a way out. For what he was about to do, he could alert Raiden, but it was worth it. "ELDER GODS!!! HEAR ME!!!" Keith heard Raiden's lightning strike, and new Raiden was coming. Raiden appeared in front of Keith, reaching for him, but it was too late, Keith was gone. Everybody thought he had ascended to elder god status, but he was only meeting with them. "I have come to take you up on your second offer." "Remember Keith, it is a two pronged deal, this could still go not for your favor."
A crack of lightning, raiden appeared "no!" he stood before the elders, angry at them "to give him this offer is to interfer in the affairs of sky tower and to take a protecter from earthrealm, both violations of your fool code" he hissed he looked at keith "I am not a fool keith, I knew you would try and become an elder god, you wish to spare mage your anger, are you afraid to face it yourself?"
"This is where you're wrong Raiden. Elder God, was their first offer. Their second is the one I chose. And I am not scared to face anybody, including myself. I don't need to spare Mage my anger, it comes with the bond. Anyway, the second offer. You Guys could do it now." "Very well Keith, this is your last chance to say no, because once this is over, only the Elder Gods know how to undo this, and we won't undo it so it's final." "I'm prepared." "Very Well." Mage, Raiden, and Keith were teleported into a cloud. Keith was on one podium, strapped to his chair by the Fire god's binds. Raiden at the other podium strapped to his chair by the Water god's binds. Mage was in a chair in the middle. "Mage, Keith made a very drastic choice. This now falls onto you, do you pick the one on your left, god of Thunder. Protector of Earthrealm, loves you with all of his heart. Or do you take the God on your right, God of light and Darkness. Has the worst temper we've ever seen, but loves you with the same passion. You can make one choice and one choice only, nobody is allowed to leave until a choice is made. And for witnessess we bought your closest friends. They can influence your desicion." Fujin, Reptile, and Stryker were brought up. Raiden immedieatly started to try to influence Mage to pick him. Keith said only one thing. "It is your choice alone, remember it cannot be undone."
Mage huffed "so instead of listening to me they decided to make me chose again, then I cannot choose, I refuse to" she showed her hands, marked as before "I did this to show I would not be forced to make a choice" reptile nodded "yes I remember you warned them, stunts like this would cost them you" mage nodded "accend them both" she said harshly "if they cannot accept my final decision then neither will have me"
"Keith, you heard her choice, neither will have her. So go back to your duties, and you must not pursue her anymore. Remember, only an Elder God knows how to stop this." "Okay, thank you for your help." Keith was teleported back down to Earth. He desperatly needed to meditate on this to find a solution.
Mage looked up "I want to say something else elders, since you are clueless about love anyways" she hissed "My word must be the only way these two can have me back" raiden growled "they won't listen they are fools" she looked at raiden coldly "Let keith know this if you decide this will be the way"
Keith was deep in thought when an idea popped up. It was only good once, and after that, he'd be screwed but it was worth it. Keith stood up and Raiden teleported down. "Keith" he started to say but Keith cut-him off. "Get out of my face now." he said calmly but coldly. Raiden realized what was happening and he stepped back. Keith created a portal, and his scream could be heard by everyone, gods, elder gods, and humans. When Raiden looked again, it was Keith, God of Darkness. He stepped into the portal and dissappearead. Raiden tryed to step through but the impurty of the realm repelled him.
Raiden knew who could get to keith "Mage I beg you, save keith..." mage all ready knew "I need to go, I am sick of this game..." she said, her eyes red with anger, she teleported to the netherworld "KEITH APPEAR BEFORE ME!" she screeched angerly "FACE ME!"
Keith appearead before Mage. "Mage, stay away from me, you picking Raiden would have done you better. But now, I cannot control it. I screwed up us. And had you picked raiden, I would have atleast salvagaed a friendship. But you said neither, I am telling you one last time go away." His voice sounded darker than ever. Unbeknognst to anybody but keith, Shinnok was watching from his Spire. He said out loud "Master, the God has been turned, good job."
Mage hissed "elder gods law, I can changed the rules" she picked up keith "YOU DON'T GET IT DO YOU!" she held him "I WON'T GIVE UP ON YOU I CAN'T DO YOU THINK ME PICKING ONE OR THE OTHER WOULD FIX EVERYTHING" she cried out "IF THIS IS THE WAY YOU FEEL THEN I HAVE ONE OPTION LEFT FOR BOTH...." she produced a necklace "IF I CAN'T HAVE YOU ONE WAY THEN I WILL WEAR YOU BOTH FOREVER" She cried as she heard raiden's voice echo "Mage don't...." she looked at ketih "I said neither so you two could work things out not so you could work for shinnok" she said crying "I won't allow it..." she took up her blades "SHINNOK! I KNOW YOU ARE WATCHING COME DOWN HERE AND HEAR ME!" she cried
"Master, I will be back." Shinnok said. The figure in the shadow nodded it's head and shinnok teleported down. "Yeeessss?" he said in a mocking tone. "Mage don't." Keith said. Her in tears made him collapse. Keith was filled with anger, every boundary, every limit had been exceded. Keith had caused her anguish. Keith flew up towards the sky. "WHAT THE FUCK!!!" He started to attack everything in the air. Clouds dissolved in the sky. He was venting. Everytime he looked down and saw Mage crying, he got madder. Nothing could stop him. "I don't get HUH?!? You think I"M THE FOOL!!!!" He looked down and everybody registered in his mind as enemy. "Attack them." said a voice in his head. "Destroy them." "No." said the last glimpse of light. "strike them down. One by one." "Nooooooooo." His body let out one big ball of energy, not white, not black, but grey. He looked at Mage one last time, and fell into a state of recharging. He could not be awoken by anyone but himself. From his body rose a black spirit. IT spat at mage "You look at yourself Godess. He was not so easy to posess this time. His love for you outlasted even me. But next time, you won't be so lucky." Then it dissappearead.
Mage hissed "you are still a fool, I will find you" she dashed off after him "you forget that you and he are the same person like it or not" Raiden looked at the elder gods in anger as he watched from afar "I should destory you all for this, you should not have stepped in...."
"See Mage." It said slowly. "You think that I am Cory, don't you? But I am not that sorry excuse for an evil god. I am... I am the creator... I am the One Being!!!" And it let out a psychic attack at Mage, that even she couldn't block. Then it dissappeared to one of the countless realms that Shao Kahn couldn't take over.
Mage shook off the attack then flew fast "NO YOU WON'T HAVE HIM!" she then felt lightning run through her body, raiden had pulled her back "Mage don't, you can't face him alone" mage began to cry "I want keith back...."
Keith was struggling to get back in control of himself so he could wake up and tell everybody he was alright. The last thing he remembered was him getting hit by Kano's stray laser beam, and then watching himself go nuts on everybody. When the spirit entered him, it had invigorated Cory ten-fold. Keith was using all of his power to Subdue Cory again. But he was too strong. Keith needed a reason to push on. He thought of Mage, her beauty, and the love. He pushed on and banished Cory to the dark reaches of his mind. "I'll be back, brother. And when I'm back, you'll regret ever thinking of her." "Shut up and Die!" Cory's scream echoed in his ear, until he woke up. Cory had been subdued... for now. Keith stood up. He saw Everybody standing around him. He was confused. He was outside, in the Nettherealm. With everybody looking at him like he was evil. And Raiden looked espically threatning. "What's going on?"
"KEITH YOU'RE BACK!" mage held him tight "The one begin got into you, it was a mess..." she was crying "what do you remember..."
Keith was surprised at the outbreak. "Uh, what? The One Being? All I remember is being hit by Kano with a laserbeam, and now. What happened?" Keith didn't reveal that he knew all of what happened, he also chose to leave out the fact that his mental resistance, as long with his physical strength, had still remained increased. The One Being's "parting gift". If Mage probed his mind, she'd find nothing, but behind a brick wall of mental resistance was all of his memories. Not this time.
Raiden put his hand on her shoulder "its a long story..." he said "we need to get back to sky tower" mage nodded
