Keith couldn't believe. How could he let himself take his powers for granted? He felt thae familiar feeling take through his body. The Rage, the rage that he had harbored for so long. The rage towards the Emporer of Outworld. This was his true power, his way to amplify himself, highten his senses. Mage could use her psychic powers, but when this feeling took
he was unstopable. "Well Mage, I don't know about you, but I'm going home." Keith turned his back on Raiden and Mage. He just needed to return home, and just let himself clear out all the things in his head. He walked towards the Town Centre, where a portal to Earthrealm was conjured, and stepped through, after giving them both one long stare. He returned home, and locked himself from the world. He needed to time to think.

Mage tried to follow keith, but was blocked "oh no..." raiden only stood "Mage, would you like to return home as well" mage nodded, stryker and reptile agreed, the portal opened and they walked in, mage looked around, new york, her old home town "we should..." raiden stopped her "give him a few days, then I will find him" mage nodded "right..."

The next morning, Keith awoke with a start. It had all been a dream, he thought. None of that ever happened, Mage was a figment of his imaginaition, and Raiden didn't even know he existed. Keith checked the his hand where the trifecta of marks had been, and they were gone. He started to laugh, what a dream. He looked towards his door, and immedieatly, his ecstasy was gone. Underneath his door, was a letter. This letter, was almost identical to the opened one he had left on his doorstep that faithful day. He opened it, and the wording had pretty much been the same. Except, it wasn't signed by Fujin, or Onaga. But by the Sorcerer, Shang Tsung.

Mage shook her head as she read the note "a tourny in hell, hoo boy and how am I supposed to get there, suicide" she thought when she read the note for the first time, after being started awake by her nightmares, they had become darker, more sinster, as if the messnger had become more bitter with time, to a point where he only trusted her... why? Why her? Yes she strong, but still....

she shook her head again as she walked to the docks, holding her twin blades, she got a strange feeling of deja vu as she looked at the old boat, as if she had somehow been there before, she also saw a pair of white eyes staring at her, like in the dream, but they faded fast. Mage walked on alone, she gulpped as she entered the lower decks. No one seemed willing to talk, everyone seemed willing to kill. A strange lizard looked up, he seemed friendlier then the rest, and mage sensed he was feeling about the same as her, so she sat down next to him. It looked up and sighed "I am the last creature you wish to know on this journy..." mage looked puzzled "how come?" the lizard explained "I am hated by everyone, the wicked see me as a traitor and the just see me as a killer, millions died because of me, but when I try to redeam myself I am cast off, or I screw up, losing everything...." mage felt the lizard's pain "well maybe you need someone who doesn't see you as a bad thing" she put out her had "I'm Mage..." the lizard smiled "I am reptile" they shook as they waited for the boat to move

Keith also stepped onto the same boat. As he sat, he saw the girl from his dreams. He thought to himself "what's her name? something with an M, oh, Mage!" Keith sat across from her as she sat down next to a walking lizard. Keith watched from afar, as Raiden landed on the top deck. But he seemed darker. Keith thought "I guess my dreams made him a meaner God."

Mage saw the god land as she spoke with reptile "who is that freak?" she asked reptile sighed "that is raiden, one of the gods that will be joining us" he said "that is one of the many who see mortals as wastes of time now, he has become angry and bitter, so much loss and so much disaster have finally taken their toll"

Keith heard Reptile speak and thought "What did Raiden loose? I mean, we don't count" he thought thinking about him and Mage.

Reptile sighed "every fighter he trained became a son or daughter to him, but in the end the hand of war or battle took them." mage sighed "yesh that would wreck anyone, but I had worse happen to me and I am not that bitter" reptile nodded "raiden is a bit more tempermental then most... and much feircer, I have a feeling this god will be in the tourny as well as watching it, and I shudder to think of what he will do to his foe"

Mage smiled "nice to meet you" she felt something familar about him, but wasn't sure what... it was beyond the street fights she saw him in but she chalked it up to chance

"Well Mage, good luck in the tournament." Keith said. This was crazy. He remembered everything about his dream, so if this were the same Mage, she had to of had a secret desire for Raiden, psychic powers, and... an attraction for Keith. That made him smile inwardly. And this was the same Reptile, talked the same, acted the same, but he always seemed to know what was going on, maybe that whole expierence wasn't a dream, maybe, just maybe, something has happened to Keith. Well, whatever the case, his key to knowledge was Reptile. Later that day, Keith asked Reptile if he wanted to go for a walk. After accepting, Keith walked Reptile out of earshot of everybody, and asked, "I have a question for you, if Mage and Raiden kissed, how would you react?" Reptile's answer would either confirm that Keith was neck deep in something foul, or that the past expierence was all a dream.

Keith responded "Just tell me. If Raiden was light, and he fell in love with Mage, how would you react?" If reptile said he'd have a couple of laughs, then Keith'll know something's up.

Keith pulled Reptile close. "Reptile, I know what's going on. It's me, I was there with Mage, and Light Raiden. I need your help to get out. I could always count on you before. Please just help me."
