Meanwhile, Chixua and Mileena were still in the Netherrealm. Looking for Shinnok.

"We are never going to find Shinnok!!!" Shotued Mileena, "How do you find an elder God?"

The two of them then approached a pale bald man with tatoo's on his head.

"I can help you there." saied the Bald Man.

"Who are you? What is your Purpose?" questioned Chixua

"I am Quan Chi. I need Shinnok to help me find Shang Tsung who has been banished here so i can use his sorcery to escape this place. And reform the Deadly Alliance"

"Whatever. How can you help us?" Blerted Chixua

"Us Sorcerers have a lot of tricks up our sleeves, Shokan! Follow me!"

The three of them went through a portal where they found Shinnok.

He said "You three are not worthy to come to me for answers. You shall DIE!!!!!!

Suddenly An immense brutish voice was heard.

"GET OVER HERE!!"

"That sounds like Scorpion!" Said Mileena,, "What does he want with us?"

"It's me he wants" said Quan Chi

"You fools!!!" Shouted Shinnok, "Scorpion works for me. He is helping me in my plan to brainwash Mage!!!! Muahaha!!! You three came so unprepared."

"Ok...."said Chixua, "Prepare to defend yourself!!!!"

"Raiden..." mage said as she looked in surprise "am I the one..." she whispered
Raiden could only nod "I'm sorry, I shouldn't" he started, mage smiled "what, be in love with someone, tell them just because they train under you" she smirked and signaled to the others she was ok

"Mage, please don't leave my side" raiden whispered
"I won't" said Mage smiling "As long as you don't leave mine" she then started to laugh "god we must sound so cornball" said Mage, raiden only smiled a moment, then got a sharp pain, he shouted with pain then collapsed

"RAIDEN!" shouted Mage, everyone else came running
"What's wrong with him now" said stryker, checking for any wounds
"Its not physical" said Fujin "its...." Fujin stopped, and hung his head
"No, not him" said reptile "NOT THAT FUCKING REJECT OF A GOD!"
"Who?" said Mage
"Mage listen to me, stay near me and do not listen to anyone you don't already know" said Raiden
"And I suggest that raiden or fujin's words rank higher then any mortals" added reptile "this goes for everyone"

Keith got confused. It just went from Raiden in trouble, to Raiden evil, to Raiden and Mage in luck(which Keith cringed at the thought) to Raiden on the floor in pain and a great danger. "Someone better tell me WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON!!!!!!!!" "It's an elder god. Or should I say a fallen elder god." Fujin replied. Before He could tell Keith who it was Keith said it first." That's impossible, he coulnd't of escaped from the Nettherealm." "He did." In unison, Keith, Reptile, and Fujin all said "Shinnok." Just as they said his name was called he appearead in the middle of the temple ruins, along with the sorcerer Quan Chi, Milenna, and some Shoakan. MORTAL KOMBAT!!!!! Keith took it upon himself to deal with Quan Chi.

"You can't match up to me, mortal." "you wanna bet?" Quan Chi threw a green skull at Keith which he evaded. But just as he bent down he got an uprising kick. Keith took his second in the air to throw a punch at Quan Chi which missed but got him in a better position. Both men squared off. Keith started off with a sweep kick and propelled himself up with his base leg and threw a kick. Quan Chi went flying into a half-pillar which broke. What Keith saw amazed him. It was Scorpion. "GET OVER HERE!!!!" Keith expected it to go at him but it went to Quan Chi. As Scorpion held Quan Chi in the air suspended. Keith did a flying kick to his back which proplled Quan Chi into the elder god Shinnok. Right before Keith could deliver the killing blow he sensed another dark presence. Out of the corner of the room Jericho stepped out. He was just watching. But the time it took Keith to see who it was it gave Quan Chi ample time to counter attack. Right before Keith could throw an attack, Scorpion's spear went through his heart. Quan Chi was just standing there, his feet about 5 inches off the floor. And just like that with his dying breath he muttered something and dissapeared.

Reptile hissed "MEILLINA LONG TIME SO SEE BITCH!" he shouted
"Should have known you would be a traitor" she yelled as she lunged at reptile

Raiden shot up and grabbed shinnok by the throat "STAY AWAY FROM HER!" he yelled as a bolt of lightning came through the air and struck shinnok in the chest
"Raiden, always the tempermental one" sneered shinnok getting up
Raiden's eyes became like rubies as she stared at his oldest foe "I know you want Mage, but I won't allow you to harm her" he snarled
Shinnok laughed" that girl doesn't even trust you, why do you care so much about her"
all this time mage did a little sneaking around as fujin and stryker attacked the shokan and reptile finshed his old 'friend' by biting her head off "when daddy dearest is in hell, say hi for me" snarled reptile, mage signaled to her friend "Rep come on" she hissed, from behind the fallen god
reptile jumped over and watched as raiden and shinnok exchanged blows "Rep is this what you were talking about?" Mage asked "The forces against me" reptile nodded "I don't know what but they were going to play on the fact that you didn't trust raiden fully"
Mage smirked "I got and idea then" she said "HEY SHINNOK!" she called, every turned toward her "I hear you got a deal for me"
"Well, a smart young girl, knows who to really trust" shinnok said, smiling, raiden looked on in horror, has his student, his beloved turned on him, mage winked at raiden a moment and turned to the fallen one
"My deal for you Mage is that you serve me and I give you power beyond your wildest dreams, even raiden can't promise that, even though he has" said shinnok
"Hmmmm tempting but...." said Mage "besides being a slave, what would it cost me" she said acting intrested
"Not a thing" said shinnok, "and I am a god of my word" he said slyly
Mage thought a moment "Oh wait I can't accept see I got this thing called a brain and its telling me you are a LYING SACK OF SHIT" she shouted sending a shockwave through the temple, causing it to shake and collapse around them

Keith heard them talking to Mileena and turned to Scorpion. "Who hired you today? Shang Tsung? Shao Kahn?(Keith shuddered at the thought)" "No, this time it was me!" And just like that in a ball of fire, Scorpion teleported.
"Mage, what's going on, and where the fuck did Shinnok go?"

Mage saw the fire ball "I think through the wall over there" she screamed as she lunged at the specter "All right yellow boy, your next!" she screamed

Shinnok attacked raiden again "HOW!?, HOW DID YOU GAIN HER TRUST!?" he screamed as raiden dodged "SHE WAS TO HATE YOU!"
Raiden smirked "You old fool...." was all he said before summoning his staff and attacking

"DAMN IT WHO'S SIDE ARE YOU ON!" screamed reptile, dropping mielinnas now headless body and heading to scorpion
Stryker begain to shot at the spector as fujin summoned a wind to rip shinnok apart

This pure and simple, was a mess

Keith joined the fray with Shinnok. Keith threw a kick and relized that reptile and stryker were attacking Scorpion. "WAIT, STOP!!!! He is not evil! He's not good, but he's not evil! let him go in peace, I'm pretty sure he's done here." Reptile and Stryker backed off. Just before Scorpion teleported away to some other part of the Earthrealm Keith muttered "You're welcome Hanzo."

"Damn it that freak was working for shinnok I know it" mutter reptile as he went on to the battle with shinnok

Everyone surrounded the dark god as he laughed "Well it seems right now it would be futile to fight" with that he and the shokan vanished

"Damn it!" cried raiden pounding the floor, causing the ruins to shake more
"Ok, we are gonna destroy this place if we don't leave now!" said Mage then she turned to Raiden "Thank you..." she whispered
"For what?" said raiden
"I don't know, just thank you" she said shrugging, getting closer "you know when this mess is over we should go out sometime"
"Oh brother" muttered reptile
"Reptile, why did you help us" said fujin, eyeing the lizard "since that is one of your old masters"
"Yeah lizard breath, what are you up too" added stryker
"Redemption" said reptile then turned to mage "DON'T EVER PRETEND TO MAKE A DEAL LIKE THAT AGAIN!" he screamed
"I had to keep shinnok off his guard somehow" shrugged Mage
"That basterd screwed me over and could have done the same to you" said reptile wildly
"Reptile calm down" said Raiden "Mage acted quickly enough to handle it" he held Mage in his arms "but please, don't scare us like that again" he said
"Ok ok, I'll lay off deception for a while" said Mage
"It would be best if the other warriors did not know about this" said fujin, everyone else nodded
"No sense freaking them out before the next set of fights" said Mage "but we should keep our eyes open for anything odd"
"Yeah besides the normal stuff around here" joked stryker
"And I suggest we leave, this place will fall apart soon" added reptile

as everyone walked out, Mage stopped raiden for a second "so if we had not been attacked, what would you have done back there?" she asked
Raiden only blushed, but then his instincts kicked in again and he simply embraced and kissed Mage. Mage reeled for a second then smiled "hmph should have guessed, come on lets go" she said smiling

Raiden couldn't help but smile

Keith elbowed Styker in his ribs "That's disgusting." "What do you think there babies will look like?" "Ha,ha!" Reptile slithered up "That is worse than when I melted a tarkatan's skin off so it was flesh and skeleton." "Uh thanks for the prefrence Rep." Keith ran up to Mage "That's disgusting. You and Raiden ugh!" Keith said jokingly

Mage poked "better then me and baraka" she smirked, raiden looked offended "lets get back" he said quietly

Rep listened "nice one Keith, you offended the thundergod and offering I say to appease him" he joked loudly, even fujin couldn't help but smirk and mage and stryker were rolling, Raiden only shook his head "very funny..."

"calm down" said Mage snickering "We are all just teasing" she said smiling "besides I think you are a lot better looking then most guys, present company equal to you of course" she said

Rep looked "I doubt you would go for a six foot lizard mage"

"Keith walked over to Fujin and whispered "I'd love to see that happen." Keith saw a flash of yellow in the forest. "Hanzo come out here, we won't kill you." "Who's Hanzo?" someone asked. "He used to be part of the Shrai-Ryu. Better known as Scorpion." "Go away Keith. I don't want any part of you right now." "Oh come on, I thought we were friends." Keith said mockingly "Don't tempt me mortal, I will kill you." And just like that Scorpion darted out of the trees, gave Keith the finger and teleported away. "Hmm, can't take a joke. Keith whispered to Reptile and Fujin "I sense something different about Raiden. Besides the whole Mage thing, I sense something dark about him."

Reptile shook his head "that isn't new...."
Fujin nodded "no, raiden has become darker over time, not truly evil but more agressive, its just now showing itself to you." he said
Stryker shook his head "I bet he is like this cause of Mage" he said "He wants to protect her at all cost so out comes dark raiden"
Reptile nodded "love does that, so does anger" he said
Fujin "yes shujinko....poor misguided soul"

Mage looked at raiden "Please tell me you are not going to zap anyone cause of the jokes"
"No" he said "I just am not in the mood right now"
"all the pent up rage" said Mage
"You can sense it huh?" said raiden "I'm not surprised, I just hope I never turn it on you" he said
"Why don't you tell me everything, what caused it, maybe I can help, or at least this will let some of it out" said mage
"Ok, when we get back and in a seperate room from the rest, I don't need any more humor for the night" said raiden exasperated

Mage looked for a moment "only one way to find out" she said as she began to glow "this will only sting for a moment raiden!" she said as she summoned her strength, as she did this she heard raiden's voice but it wasn't coming from raiden's body "Mage, help me...." it whispered "I am still the ruins" the body that was raiden before disappeared, but reptile caught a scent he remember all too well "SHIT!" he screamed "We need to go back"
"that was tsung wasn't it" said Mage sadly "so it wasn't true, raiden..."
"Mage, I better tell you this now" said reptile "Tsung must have found out how raiden felt about you and used it to his advantage" he said sorrowfully "Now who knows what happened to raiden"
""Damn it" said Fujin "I think I know, and it was perfect for tsung"
""Why are these rejects after Mage anyway" said stryker
""Both Mage and Keith are special, even for our champions" said Fujin "They are meant to end this darkness that hangs over all realms for good"
"Glad to hear it but can we find raiden please" said Mage, snapping "I need to know if....: Mage sobbed a bit "Forget it lets get back to the ruins before they fall on Raiden's head"

They ran back only to find the real thundergod in a state of meditation and anguish, closed to the world around him "She can't love me, she wouldn't." he muttered "She hates me, fears me, but why why Mage, what did I do? I can't tell her, she is my student, I can't love my student, its not right....I need to protect her though, they want to take her...." as this continued Fujin shook his head "Knew it..."
"what happened to him" said mage, shaking Fujin sighed "Its the extream of his strongest emotion, only its coupled with guilt" he said mournfully "Mage you have to snap him out of it, otherwise...."
reptile cringed "We all told him to just say something and not feel this way, he is a mess now"
Mage snapped "He is trying to do what's right!" she said "He didn't want to be in love because he didn't think a teacher/student dymanic could handle it." she approched the thundergod and took his hand "raiden, its me Mage...." he looked up, unaware of the others around him, only Mage "why are you here, you need to..." Mage stopped him "We can deal with them later" she said "you're more important" she looked "so, I'm the lucky girl huh?" she said smiling raiden only chuckled "Lucky is an overstament, I am not an easy person to get along with" he said Mage smiled "Neither am I, I am stubborn, shy, quiet, loud, I switch a lot" she said Raiden smiled "No, you only adjust, I am a tempermental fool, that damned wizard almost used it to turn you against me" he said sighing Mage laughed "wraith of the ex huh, now that is sick" she said "don't worry about it, we saw through the mask" Raiden looked at Mage again "Mage, I need to say something, and please don't take this the wrong way, I...I love you" mage only smiled "oh Raiden I..." she started but Raiden stopped her "No need to say anything" he smiled
"FINALLY CAN WE GO!?" shouted reptile, annoyed, snapping Raiden back into reality
Welcome back old friend" said Fujin
, one would think we would have a moment alone" sneered raiden, Mage only smirked "is it the real you this time?" she looked at keith hoping he would agree this was in fact her thundergod
Keith nodded, this was the real raiden, Mage smiled "Thank goodness" she signed and held on "no way in hell I am letting those freaks get you again" she said, Stryker, Reptile and Keith all just shook their heads
"not again..." said stryker "enough with the romance you two"

Stryker smirked "well, that's one more off the market eh man?" he said nudging keith
"Personally I prefer scales" hissed reptile

"boys" thought mage, shaking her head "all they think about..." she started to giggle a bit "meh I'm no better, I mean I bearly know him but something about raiden both scares me and well, ah well" she continued in her head "I just hope..." she thought

The arena was quiet, though someone would have sworn that shadows walked across the fields, looking for something, the darkness was far from gone...

"Hey! I said I like my own kind thanks" said reptile trying to look innocent
"Yeah, but thanks to you we thought of a human raptor hybrid" added stryker
"Well tsung made us think of the godlings" said rep
"Not this again" groaned Mage, raiden only shook his head
"Do I even want to know" he asked, Mage shook her head quickly
"Belive me my friend, this was a conversation best left unheard by your ears" said Fujin as he walked away

Raiden shook his head "you're right, I don't want to know"
"Can't be worse then kissing an old wizard" Mage joked, raiden cringed "you kissed him?" "well I thought he was you" said mage blushing "Hmph, I bet he didn't even do it right" scowled the thundergod as the others laughed
"I had forgotten about that, yikes Mage kissed tsung" said reptile holding his stomach

As they walked back to the arena, Raiden looked a mage "So..."
"so what?"
"did you enjoy it?"
"Enjoy what"
"The kiss..."
"well I don't have anything to compare it too...."
Raiden took the cue, he embraced mage and kissed her on the lips, Mage could only feel a rush and hang on, when it was over she looked "no I didn't enjoy the fake one's kiss" she said smirking, Raiden smiled

As Keith and Mage got back to the arena, Keith got prepared for tommorow's match. But he had a feeling in the pit of his stomach that the night was not over. As everyone went to sleep (Mage and Raiden in the same room) Keith could not go to sleep. As the night wore on Keith found himself drifting back towards the ruins. Once he got there he watched a whole chain of events. "Are we ready to do this?" "Yes, it is time." Keith witnessed Quan Chi(bandaged) talking to Shang Tsung. Just as Keith was going to step out to challenge them a portal opened above there heads. Literally, thousands of soldiers were coming out of the portal. Keith had to run back to the arena and warn everybody. On his way running back a portal opened right in front of him, and one after that. This one was red but the latter one was blue. Out of the red one, 10 soldiers stepped out. Keith dealt with them accordingly. Keith threw a forearm at the first soldier which connected. He ducked to avoid a sword slash and kicked backwards into another soldiers abdomen making him double over. Keith picked him up and launched him into another soldier. He then did a spinning kick on his toes which knocked every one over and took a sword to kill the last alive soldier who was muttering "Deadly Alliance". Keith ran towards the portal and entered. Standing before him were the Elder Gods. Keith came out a different man. He continued to the camp and knocked on Raiden's door. What he heard disgustued him

my friend pred gave me this one, and the avvy that goes with it, but I love the ones flameshang and darkryder gave me too, so expect a cycle of these three folks
