reptile smacked keith with his tail "THEN WHY IS SHE PISSED AT YOU TOO DUMBASS" he screamed then started to mutter "fucking gods think they know everything"

Raiden only stood in silence, reptile whacked him too "Well, anything to say for yourself"

Stryker and Fujin found mage weeping in the grandstands
"Mage what happened..." asked fujin
"Those to boys fought that's what, over me no less, I HATE THAT!!!"
"Why?" asked stryker
"Keith confessed to you didn't he" asked fujin
"Yeah, but still that wasn't a reason for raiden to attack like that" said Mage "and ketih should have tried to say something to stop him, not counter" said Mage shaking "I never could really stand fighting, and I won't stand for it now" she said

Raiden looked at the lizard "Leave me alone..." and teleported away

Reptile growled "thats it,all five of us are gonna sort this out tommorrow or else" he snarled

"I'm sorry Reptile, I've got a girl to attend to." Keith disappeared like light and flashed over to Mage.

"Mage, I'm sorry for fighting. But I'm not one to be attacked and just sit there and stay stop."

Mage didn't answer she just ignored Keith

Raiden appeared next "mage please, we need to..."
"Forget it" said stryker "she decided she's not talking to either of you till you two work it out"

Reptile jumped to where everyone was "Well I see one person in this mess has some brains" he hissed "If I rember my culture correctly, if two males wanted the same female, they didn't kill each other and they didn't let it wreck an allanince, THEY LET THE GIRL DECIDE!" he said angerly
Mage perked up "good idea reptile, meaning these two won't get me at all if I say so right" she said
"Bingo!" said rep smiling
Mage smiled "well then, either you two get along or I don't choose either of you, gods or not" she said and walked away "See you boys tommorrow"

"Alright, it's your choice and I respect that. See you in the morning." Keith disappeared and went back to his room. He fixed the door in a milisecond. He then punched the walls at the speed of light until there were two fist marks in the wall. That's how angry he was.

Raiden shook his head "Damn it...." he thought he teleported, hoping to see Mage, but nothing, Mage was in her orginal room "no..." he thought "it is her choice, but why chose me...." he thought sighing, he couldn't be angry about this, but he wanted to be, he didn't know what to feel

Reptile checked on Mage, who was sitting in her room thinking
"Something wrong..." he asked
"Rep, what does the female do when she wants to chose both males" said Mage
"She does, all though I am guessing for humans its different" said rep
"yeah" said Mage
"well since they are both gods, by default you become a goddess, then whose to say you can't have both" said rep
"How the hell would I become a goddess" said Mage
"I have no clue" said rep "but its a thought"
"Yeah...." said Mage

Keith was sitting in his room. He was hoping that Mage would chose him. Stryker walked in. "Hey man. What's up." "I'm just really pissed right now. I have a feeling that she's going to chose Raiden over me. But if she does that's her desicion and I have to respect that." And without saying a word Stryker left.

Fujin walked into where raiden brooded

"care to speak about it" he asked
"what that I may lose the only woman I ever loved to a new god that she trusts" snarled raiden
"I have a feeling keith feels the same way you do, that he may lose Mage to you" said Fujin
"There has to be something to soften this" said Raiden "Either way if she choses one the other will be destroyed"
"I can't help you there my friend" said Fujin

Keith was fed up with waiting. He went to Mage's room. "Mage, if this really helps your desicion, than choose him. I don't want to see you hurt. So I give in."

Mage looked "make up your mind" she snapped, "besides if I had my way I would take both and end this mess" she said "look I need some sleep, so I can fight, and I want to talk to both of you before I make my choice"

as they spoke Raiden burst in "Mage we need to talk..." he started, Mage rolled her eyes "Let me guess, you want me to chose keith over you so I am not hurt" she said, raiden only looked in shock "how..." Mage pointed to the light god "he betcha too it, he wants me to pick you over him" she said shaking her head "thus ladies and gentlemen, we are back to square one, look all of us can meet up in the morning and figure this out, I have a few ideas that might calm things down, but I need to rest up first"

Mage was the first one up that morning, followed by reptile
"Have you decided?" he asked "or are those two going to be going insane over this for awhile" reptile snickered "although after that display last night I wouldn't blame you"
"I haven't decided fully, but until I am a goddess and can take both I got an idea" said Mage "I remeber reading about a tribe where if a woman's husband died, his brother got the girl" she said
"So in a sense you want to make raiden and keith the 'brothers' in question" said reptile
"right, should something happen to one, the other gets me" she said smiling "at least then each one feels like they have a chance"
"Slight problem, two of them actually, one how are you going to get them to agree to this and two you still have to pick the first man" said reptile
"I know" said Mage "and knowing my luck I'll get more guys on my tail, never had this probelm before"
reptile laughed "really you?" Mage smiled "yeah guys tend to avoid me cause of the whole power thing, and the fact I tend to not want to sleep with them the first date" she said,
reptile fell over laughing "well it seems your luck has changed" he said "yeah for the worse, think about it, two gods fighing over me, they could destroy everything and it will be my fault" said Mage, reptile lost it, falling on his back laughing, mage couldn't help but join in "congrads now you have quite a story to tell your kids" he said smirking "Yeah, 'honey when me and your father meet another god wanted me....' oh brother" Mage fell over in laughter "thankfully Fujin isn't intrested too" she added reptile almost stopped breathing "OH NO! that would be too much!" he gasped, Fujin was up at this point and heard the noise
"you seem in a better mood today Mage" said Fujin smiling, rep and Mage just looked at fujin and looked at each other and fell over laughing
"Sorry we were talking about keith and raiden and the conversation just got more and more insane" said Mage, gasping for air "yeah, please do us a favor, don't have any feelings for Mage, we don't need three gods killing each other" said reptile snickering, Fujin only gave a confused look and walked away
"I think we broke him" said Mage lauging as ketih and raiden walked up to the laughing pair, raiden looked relived to see Mage laughing again "Mage does this mean..." he started "Sorry no..." said mage "Its just rep helped me see some humor in this mess" she said, reptile nodded "Not intentally mind you" he looked at mage "well want to toss your idea up at them now" he said "Why not, better then giving no answer at all" said Mage "ok boys how would you feel if I said I had a way to make both of you happy about this" she started "and what if I was to say I wanted to keep you both, not choose" she continued "or take one, but then if something should happen to the one I do chose, the other gets me?" she finished "well?" she said hopefully, all she got where two blank stares, her heart sank, fujin returned, along with stryker "well..." there was nothing but silence for a few moments, but to mage, it seemed an eternity, until she broke down in tears

She didn't want to chose, both were wonderful guys, and both cared about her but choose, why? She didn't want to lose one in favor of the other, she needed help, then she remembered a moment of her past, a vow she and her childhood friends took, so that no matter what, they would be allies to the end, the vow of the street "No matter what, we fight for our beliefs, our hopes, our dreams, and nothing will make us foes" this vow still stood after all these years, Mage stood up, wiping her eyes "I can't decide now, it wouldn't be fair, both raiden and keith are my friends, you all are since I came into this mess, chosing anything now would be a death sentance" she said strongly "We need to make a pact right now that no matter what happens we are in this together, no fuck ups, no fighting amongst ourselves, no love triangles no nothing of that, if you can't handle it, leave now" she said, reptile was the first to stand up "I'm in", stryker came next "Count me in kid" Mage looked at fujin, raiden and keith "well, are the gods in or is this a mortal affair from here on out" she said smirking, fujin walked up "No, we have come this far, why throw it away now" he said, Raiden and Keith both stood up next, raiden walked up first "Mage, I promised nothing would hurt you as long as I lived, I intend to keep that promise" Mage looked at keith, "you in man?" was all she said with a smile all he did was smile back and nod, keith was in "good" said Mage "The last thing we needed was bad blood" she sighed and looked at her suitors "as for my choice, I decieded to let things happen naturally, let the wind guide me, for now, you are both my friends, Raiden, keith, promise me you won't fight over me anymore" she kissed both on the lips, first keith, then raiden "promise guys?"

Raiden and Keith nodded, they both knew that any more fighting would cause mage to attack with the same force she did last night. Raiden looked "she is no ordinary champion either, could the eldergods have chosen her as well?" he thought and smiled "I guess its only fair then, she deserves it" he turned to fujin and keith as stryker, Mage and reptile walked away "My friends, I have a feeling the eldergods have one more surprise for us" he said softly "if they made keith the god of light, what is to stop them from making Mage a goddess" he continued, fujin nodded
"I have never seen anyone with that much telekentic power, to fell both you and keith was a task leave most drained or even dead" he said "but I have a feeling that like keith, she needs to face her greatest foe first" he continued, bowing his head "the one who called for her family's death, hoping to rid himself of her as well"

"That was intresting." Keith couldn't stop smiling. After Mage kissed him, everything was in a new light. He ran laps around the arena faster than light (and once or twice peaked in on Mage to see how she was doing). But he still had a problem. He was hoping she would pick him but now its some friendship pact. He just felt like doing something, even though he didn't know what. "Hey" he thought, she kissed me first. Fujin was walking to the arena so Keith decided to beat him there. Everyone gathered around as the fights were announced.

Mage enjoyed the two boys checking on her as she practiced, both Raiden and Keith seemed calmer now, but raiden couldn't help but wonder if mage really was meant to become another deity

Mage walked out to hear the fights announced, Fujin began

Reptile and Stryker looked on "Mage vs liu, this should be good" said stryker smilling

"Holy shit, Mage. You're fighting Liu Kang! Good luck and trust me, you'll need it. Luckily for me, I get to watch you fight before I have to deal with robot over here." Keith pointed at Sektor.

Mage laughed "meh you can beat that tin can" she said smiling and headed to the ring

Mage and liu squared off, Mage bowed "good luck" she said, Kang bowed back "thank you, I wish you the same" the battle began, Kang did his bicylce kick but mage rolled under, he followed with a flying kick but mage jumped then knocked kang out of the sky, each of them fighting fast and furious until finally the dragon king yelled out FINISH HIM! mage only knocked kang out "Remember what I said before, I mean it" she said soflty and walked out, Onaga looked on with dread in his eyes...
Raiden walked up to Mage "excellent fight" he said smiling, Mage grinned "Thanks" she said blushing, she saw Keith "Take out that tin can oh great god of light" she said smiling and looked at raiden again "You know I was wondering why you weren't in the tourny yourself, same with fujin" she said, raiden laughed "Save keith, who is a special case, gods are not usually allowed in these games" he said "Unless they give up their immortalty, and even then its not always accepted" Mage thought "huh, I guess they want to give the rest of us a fair shot" she said "oh well..." she turned to watch the next fight

"How did you beat Liu Kang so quickly. He was the champion of Earthrealm. You know, if I win this fight that means me and you in the finals right?" Fujin called Keith onto the arena.
"You're gonna die Human" Sektor said in his robotic voice.
"Catch me if you can tin can." FIGHT

Sektor immeaditley shot a missle but by then Keith was gone. All you saw was Sektor's body react to being hit so many times in the blink of an eye. Then Sektor dissapeared as well. Seconds later he came plummeting from the sky into the arena. Oil began to drip from his power cords. Keith yanked on the cords and threw him into the center of the arena. He zipped behind Sektor and kicked him in the back of the head. Keith walked right in front of Sektor and began to stomp on his chest plating. It opened up and a missle shot out. Keith caught it and shoved it back into Sektor's closing breast plates and stood on it. The second he felt Sektor's interior rumble from the explosion Keith zipped to the other side of the arena right in front of Mage. Sektor blew up with one last word. "CHEATERRRRRRRRRR"

"Man that robot is a sore loser" said Mage smirking "well this is it... you vs me" she said "lets promise we both live through this match" she said smiling "And I guess after this the champion is decided right?" she asked Raiden and fujin shook their heads "no, the winner of the last match faces against onaga himself" said Raiden. Fujin looked "Keith if you are to defeat Mage, you must spare his life, dispite all he as done" Fujin new the truth about some of Mage's past, as did raiden, but they did not wish to say anything about in front of Mage just yet. Mage looked "and me, should I spare the dragon king too" she asked "No" said Raiden "Mage, dispite your beliefs you must kill him, I can not say why just yet" said raiden "but you must show onaga no mercy, either in the arena or outside, should keith face him here instead" Mage looked "why?" she said calmly Fujin only sighed "Its not important now, when the time is right we will both tell you" he said "Keith, Mage this is it, you are both the champion's of earthrealm, make us proud" Mage nodded and looked at keith "think you can handle me tommorrow?" she said smirking

While Mage and keith prepared for their match the dragon king mulled over this problem

"The girl should have died by now, her opponents where the best" he growled to another figure, the eyes glowed green

"Do not worry about it sire, she won't be able to win or even survive the fight against that new god" it sneered "and should she win, we have a little surprise for her" it continued as houtoro stepped out of the shadows and bowed...

Mage was unaware of the plotting behind her back this time, instead she was busy training for her fight with keith "I will be fighting a friend and a god, I better be ready, thankfully thought tends to outrun light' she thought as she trained, Raiden and Keith watched her carefully, talking quietly to each other "Keith I was wondering, what drew you to her in the first place?" said Raiden quietly "Don't take this personally, I just want to know" he had a small smile on his face, waiting for is answer

"well, I guess I can sense a great fighter, and by the way, she does look good. That's the perfect mix, good looks, and can defend herself. Now I'm stuck on deciding what I'm gonna do. Do I make it a fair fight or do I use my god powers. I'm edging towards good fight because if she wins somehow, she can kill Onaga, I can't. But with my god powers, nothing will even touch me. Which reminds me, can you tell me about her past, and why I can't kill Onaga?"

Raiden bowed his head "Onaga is the one that killed her family years ago" he said sadly "while his body lie in wait for its awakening, he saw his destiny, to be destroyed by a young girl with great powers, so he tricked a few unwitting souls to do is dirty work, killing most of Mage's family" Raiden growled angerly "But Mage needed a guardian so from afar I watched her when I could but..." he shook his head mournfully "earthrealm needed me more at the time, and she was too young to fight for it" Raiden sighed "I have watched her grow up into this gentle soul and I know onaga is going to take her from us if given half the chance" Raiden looked up "now its time for her to fulfill that destinty that onaga dreaded so much, and from what I can feel, this will insure her immortalty one way or the other" Mage didn't hear a word of this and kept training, she looked over from time to time to see her two courters watching her, she finally decided to have some fun with keith "better not go easy on me tommorrow, I am expecting to give the folks quite a show" she sneered playfully "so you better not lay off the light powers, I think I can handle them" she added. She didn't really care about winning, but she didn't want keith to go easy on her for the sake of some desitny, if she didn't get to beat onaga in the ring she would get him later anyway, she just wanted a full on fair fight, full strength vs full strength

"Trust me, if I use my light powers, you will lose this fight. You can't handle what you can't see. Plus, you've only seen a little bit of my powers, fast traveling and fast punching and kicking. I have a lot more. But, I won't use those for my sake as well because I haven't learned to control them yet. Good luck! You'll need it.

Mage smirked "my my going easy on little old me" she said, faking a southern accent "your choice but I should warn you I have no intentions of laying off you myself" raiden laughed "all right you two enough" he said "remember this is a friendly match, the real battle is after" Mage smiled "ok ok, but I know I can handle the light moves, I mean so what if I can't see him, who says I have to aim?" she said smirking

"You can't hit what you can't see." Keith then went off to his training in the sky. Later that night he stopped by Mage's room. He knocked on the door which opened. He saw Mage standing there. He couldn't control himself. He went in and kissed her.

Mage smiled "ok romeo what's up"

"I don't know. I just felt the need to do that. Your like a good drug. I'm addicted to you."
