I propose a fan fiction game
"I get it, but what you don't understand is that my dark side is evil. I can not distinguish between enemy and friend. Dark me is my alter ego. It can consume me or I can fight it, there is no extra fire power, it is evil. Other than that I guess we can go."
Mage sighed and thought "no, its you, just like your light side" raiden and stryker walked to the others mage tapped keith on the shoulder "if you want later I can help you face this other you, an old trick a gypsy taught me" she said smiling and walked over to the others
Keith considered the thought. It would surly help himself, but what if he loses it, a part of him. Oh well, that's find out.
After a while, they all get to the arena and everybody went to there rooms. Keith followed Mage. Keith turned around once to look out for the assasins, and saw a pair of red eyes, that dissapeard in a second. Keith was puzzled. He followed Mage into her room.
"So, what's this whole gypsy thing, you wanted to show me?"
raiden and mage where waiting for keith, raiden's eyes where red though, preparing for this "hope you don't mind, I figured raiden should be here since I never did this on a god before" she said setting out a mat "and he is just mentally preparing for this, so ignore the red eyes" she shut the door "bascially I will be splitting you in two, light and dark, both of you then remerge hopefully and its bascially two parts you switch between, though if you are right and this is an evil you, well lets just say this is why me and raiden are both here, and I was thinking to call the others in too if you don't mind" said Mage smiling
"Oh no!" Keith said jokingly. "Seriously, if shit hits the fan, none of you are stopping evil me, not even I can kill even me, it won't happen. You can try anyway. That's get it started."
"ok if you are so sure it will be impossible I'll get the others first, um raiden can you..."
"all right mage, I know what to do" said raiden "this is a very old practice, I am surprised you know it so well"
"you would be shocked about how many loonies in new york need this" said mage jokingly "keith is the first one who had a legit problem in my opinion, so I hope I don't screw this up" mage walked to get the others, who where talking in the hall
"wonder what mage is up too" said stryker "I usually don't buy into this mumbo jumbo"
"This is no mere trick stryker, our very lives could be at stake" said fujin "ok guys, come in, just incase" said mage, peeking out, all three entered
"just so you know keith, I don't intend to kill your evil half, that would kill you two, just tame it a bit" said Mage "and raiden if you like, can do you to" raiden smiled "later, for now lets help the god of light"
"ok keith, just lie down here and close your eyes, this won't hurt" mage began to chant an old forgotten spell as the room glowed with her energy, a bright flash of light came then two keith's stood looking at mage, one light and one dark
"well step one is done, keith how do you feel, both of you" said mage looking on "are you ok?"
"lovely" said reptile "are you sure the dark one won't kill you?" raiden hushed him "do not tempt either side lizard, it will make this more dangerous" raiden stood "either one of you can answer, is everything in place within you?"
Keith didn't respond. He wouldn't respond. He couldn't respond. Inside of him, he was fighting his personal war. The dark side was trying to overpower the light side, and vice-versa. He was just waiting for it to end so he can end his own personal battle. This would be intresting at the least.
Mage looked at both sides "great, they are interally struggling still, I'll do a link to them and get them both out" mage walked up and took both figures by the hand and entered keith's mind
Mage saw the two sides fighting as she cast her psyonic hold on them both
"knock it off!" she said "I need to get you both out first" she looked at both sides "first things first, are you both all there, is all the darkness with the dark side and is all the light with the light side"
"Yeah, I'm all here" the light Keith said. "Why do you interfere Mage? This dosen't concern you?" The dark Keith said.
"lovely, the dark one talks like shinnok" sneered Mage "simple oh dark smart ass, love" mage blushed a bit "besides try anything and I can send you so deep into keith's mind you can never get out, so don't tempt me" Mage looked at the two halves and thought "if keith's are this independant, wonder what raiden's are going to be like?" she wanted to make sure everyone was under some control of themselves "ok listen I know both sides want to be in control but if there is only one of you in charge, the body is only half as powerful as before, are you both willing to trust me in what I am about to do next, because if not then I can't do a damn thing and if either of you attack me, then I will fight back and you both feel it" mage put out her hand "so will you trust me?" while mage was doing what she had to, the others watched, raiden sighed, they could hear everything "I can't do anything to protect her now, I just pray that keith's darkness is enough like him that he wouldn't dare harm her" reptile took stryker to the side "hmm mage is still torn between her two beus, that is why she is risking her neck like this, and plans to do so again with raiden" reptile whispered, stryker shook his head "that girl is nuts" In the mind, light keith had taken mage's hand, she looked at the dark side once more "well handsome, do you trust me?"
"If, you put it that way, Yeah. But let it be known, if I'm harmed in anyway, you all will be spending a long time in the Nettherrealm, and Raiden, that battle between us won't last as long as before." Dark Keith took Mage's hand.
"why would I be dumb enough to harm you?" said Mage "since it would kill both of you" Mage prepared for the next step "you are both halves of one whole, if one of you dominates the body, it will weaken, and if one of you dies, the body will die, and you will cease to exist, both of you" Mage began "heed me and unite as one powerful being, or forever be unable to reach your full strength"
Raiden was paceing at this point "please work..." everyone else was silent, praying that somehow, mage could do this
Keith felt a surge of energy. He and dark Keith were being pulled together and being ripped apart at the same time. It was a vertigo he had never experinced before. All at once, everything turned black.
Mage shot out of keith's mind, back to the real world, but not before seeing keith's two halves merge into one soul "always hated that part" quipped Mage
"Mage is keith..." raiden started mage held up her hand "you know how it is, the stronger the soul the more knocked out they are going to be, keith should be fine by morning" mage sat next to keith, and raiden next to her "just in case, we should watch him, and you" raiden put his hand around mage's waist, she smiled, placing one hand on keith and one hand on raiden
Reptile looked at the three "cozy picture, but will he be ready to fight tommorrow morning?" mage felt a stir "keith, are you ok?" she asked as the light god's eyes opened slowly
"What just happened? I remember a huge white light, and then nothing. I feel kinda empty yet full."
Mage smiled "it worked" was all she said "if you feel up to it, show me your light powers" she said, "then when I say so, show me your dark powers"
Raiden nodded "if anything happens we can handle it my friend"
meanwhile, as the assasians reported to onaga, the dragon king was furious
"HOW, HOW CAN YOU LET TWO LOVE SICK GODS BEAT YOU!?" he boomed, tayna calmed him
"it seems as if those two are willing to give everything up for her, maybe we can use this to our advantage" she smiled but the shadowy figure stopped her "no, raiden would see through any ruse, and I am sure keith would be all too willing to help him, besides that little whelp might see it coming, we need to kill her directly, after her match tommorrow" it said, everyone nodded
"Alright, here goes nothing." Keith let out a ball of light energy into the wall leaving a hole. "Okay that went well." Keith let out a ball of dark energy, but it stopped abruptbly. "What the fu-" An explosion rocked the area. "What just happened?" Keith stepped outside in the pre-dawn light, he saw Sub-Zero standing there over Scorpion's bloody figure. Sub-Zero was beaten up to as well. "You want to attack me and get away with it?" Sub-Zero was reeling with rage. Very weakly Scorpion replied "You attacked me liar." Sub-Zero was about to freeze Scorpion when a kick rocked him onto his side. It was Keith. "Leave him alone Sub." Keith had refound his dark-side. It felt more powerful than before. But, he felt that he could control it, that was a good sign. It came out when he saw Sub-Zero standing over Scorpion. No one noticed the energy forming around him until he lashed out and kicked Sub-Zero. He didn't realize that he had broken a couple or Sub-Zero's ribs. "Scorpion, what's going on? Or should I say... Hanzo?"
Mage sighed a moment "well at least the treament worked" she thought as she ran up "anyone want to tell me what the hell happened?"
Raiden watched from the side lines, this was something he decided to stay out of "those two will never truly be allies" he thought
Mage took a look at both ninja's "hmmm the ice man haveth some broken ribs I think, or something and well I think its safe to say scorpian is lucky to be undead" she said as she approched "besides both of you got knocked out of the tourny, why the hell are you fighting now?"
she was only meet with two icy stares, mage scowled, "ok don't answer me" she looked at keith "any idea what happened?"
"Han- Scorpion, what just happened?" "..." "Sub?" "..." "One of you are going to tell me what happened or I'll, well, you don't want to know what I'll do to you."
Mage looked at keith "forget it, they don't wanna talk fine, we have bigger worries" she said in a haughty tone, hoping this would get one of them to talk
Keith gives Sub-Zero, one last nudge in the ribs with his shoe and walked over to Mage. "How are we gonna get them to talk?"
Mage only shrugged "don't know...." then she got an evil smirk "but maybe raiden would know" and dashed off to get the thundergod
"Raiden! you think you can help us out?" said Mage "forget it, those two have an old blood feud that you and keith should stay out of" said Raiden laughing "yeah but" said mage "why where they fighting now?" raiden was puzzled "all right I'll take a look, but I won't promise anything"
at the sight neither scorpion or subzero said a word yet "all right you two, what happened?" growled raiden, mage flashed a smirk at keith "when you need intimadation fast, call a thundergod" she joked "need killing done fast, call either the light god or the thundergod and if you need romance, call both" she added in her head smiling
