I propose a fan fiction game
"Alright Mage, you're not ready for this. You have no idea who you're messing with." Keith was angry from being reflected. "Have fun seeing." Keith said with a mocking tone. And then all the light in the arena turned black. No light was going to reach it now. Keith then let out a ball of energy at Mage. You're sheild can only hold so much. And with that he just kept attacking it until the shield quivered and died.
"Now, where was I?" Keith attacked Mage from behind with a leg kick to her back, but not hitting her as hard as he could.
"I can't attack you. You know that, but someone has to win this... and unfourtantley, it's going to be me."
A large bronze dragon creeps in, her long spaded tail flicking nervously. "Whoa - what the hell is going on?"
Mage smirked, she still had her sheild up, and she didn't need to see, she could sense the kick, and felt it "ok you are better then I thought, but no way are you getting me" she held up her hand and held keith in the air "remember I am a telikentic, I don't need to see, darkness never scared me"
Keith felt her telekinetic hold, but wasn't really in it. He was floating here on his own free will. Keith flipped out and shot a ball of energy at her which bounced off heading right for a bronze dragon.
Meanwhile
Keith show up into the sky, and started raining down balls of energy on her sheild, they wouldn't last long.
Mage knew this would be it, she decided on one last move, her devistation's light
"I am not going to let you win this, I am sorry, but I can't" she called out crying as she let out all of her energy in one large psyhonic burst, knocking keith from the sky, and the rest of the crowd for a loop. the arena changed to normal as mage waited for the dust to clear
Keith was staggering at the might of the blow. It was the most powerful thing he ever felt. As he lay on the floor, he pondered just laying there, giving up. But he couldn't, he wouldn't. When the dust cleared off he was still standing.
"You always did try to end things early. Now I will show you what a monster you made of me." And because of Mage trying to merge his light and dark sides, Keith could change at will. So he did.
The dark side stood before her.
"Mage, it ends now." And with that, he launched an all out assault at the speed of light.
Mage was ready "end it early? maybe, but if you want a long fight go ahead, but you won't hit me" she turned transparent, keith went through her "remember, the spirit and the mind are my domains" she whispered "I am faster then light, I am thought, I am feeling, I am everything"
everyone watched, even the bronze dragon, native to outworld and curios was frightened
"what is she doing" hissed reptile
raiden and fujin only watched, the only two unafraid "it seems her desitany is at hand" said fujin. raiden nodded "yes, she has come full circle, from a frightened child to this, the only one able to defeat the god of light and dark"
stryker stood in awe "what is she" fujin and raiden laughed "the goddess of spirits" they said in unision
Mage unleashed a desperation move, she didn't want to, but she knew if she didn't, keith would end this fight now, she raised her hand, and began to assault keith's mind "The mind is my domain oh god of light and dark, as lighitng and thunder is raiden's and the wind is fujin's and balance is yours, I love you but I can not let you win, fate requires me to face onaga alone" she boomed as she continued her attack
Keith knew she was right. His head fealt like it was going to explode. With his last ounce of consiceseness he let out his final blow. He gathered everybit of light and dark energy and shot it at her. "I'm Sorry!!!!!!" He yelled. (He didn't know she was invisible so he basically shot it everywhere). And with is last glimpse, he saw the floor coming up as light began to penetrate through.
Mage unleased the last part of her attack but she did not kill him, the fight was over, mage had won, she ran to keith freaked out and wobbly "KEITH! KEITH!"
Raiden and fujin also ran over, she needed them more then ever now....
Mage was shaking keith "WAKE UP DAMN IT I DIDN'T KILL YOU!" she screamed
She was right. She didn't kill him. He did.
Mage was furious "YOU SON OF A BITCH! WAKE UP!" she screamed, she wanted him back, she vowed not to lose either him or raiden, she looked up "YOU BASTARDS, GIVE HIM BACK TO ME!!" she cried everyone was confused, but raiden and fujin, they knew her anger was at the elder gods
a flash of light appeared before them, only mage, raiden and fujin could see it
"mage, you final transformation lies here" said a voice "you are ready, young champion, goddess of spirits"
Mage fumed "not unless you bring me back keith" she snarled
"He can not die young one, he will return, we bromise" said the voices
Mage was pissed "when, when the fuck is he gonna come back!?" she was in tears "my two gods are meant to be raiden and kieth, I made that desision a long time ago, now let me have them both" she snarled
"step through and gain what you wish" the voices said, mage sighed and walked through "fine, this better work"
she felt a rush, something different, and heard a familar voice, she smiled again "keith is that you?" she said "I'm sorry I just couldn't let you face onaga, it was something I had to do, I didn't mean to kill you"
Keith had no clue where he was. He was there, but he was a spirit over his body. "This is kinda cool. But life came flooding back to him. He woke up in the middle of white. White everywhere. But in the distance he saw Mage step in through a portal. "MAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Keith was then swept backwards through a different portal, back into his body. But only he knew that.
Mage felt energy enter her body "is this what keith felt when he changed" she thought as she was shot back into the arena, where she first felt a pain in her lower back "OW WATCH IT WITH THE LANDINGS NEXT TIME!" she snapped, she then saw keith, being helped up by raiden "KEITH, RAIDEN" she cried and jumped into their arms
Raiden smirked "Well our new goddess is a fiery one" he joked "even lashing out at the elders themselves"
Mage blushed "eh I think they got their revenge" she said wincing a bit, then looked at keith "are you all right?" she was worried she did some damage "I'm sorry, I just couldn't...." she tried to contain herself "I didn't want to, I had to, you can't face the dragon king, he would have killed you, like he did everyone else he faced, god or not I wasn't going to let that happen"
Onaga was paniked, this girl had asscened, all she had to do was strike, and there wasn't anything he could do about it, except prove the fates wrong. "bring me my armor and sword and prepare them for the battle tommorrow" he boomed "and the rest of you prepare to take care of her friends" he hissed quietly
Keith was half listening, half trying to remember where he was. "How did you win?" But Keith already knew the answer. During his time of "death" he was actuallying consulting with the elder gods. Mage had been chosen to be the god of spirits. Before Keith could do anything Shinnok, and his whole army of the un-dead from the nettherrealm appeared in the meadow down hill from the arena. Everyone was startled and began to look. But Keith knew it was a diversion. He told Mage to turn around. Before them stood... the army of the Dragon King.
Mage groaned "oh brother, I don't need this" everyone else prepared for battle, but mage signaled for them to stand down "why mess with the body when you can mess with the head" she focused her attack on the army, they kneeled down, holding their heads "HEAR ME! MY DESTINY IS TO FACE YOUR MASTER, YOU MORTALS CAN'T DO A THING ABOUT IT AND IF YOU TRY YOU WILL EITHER FACE DARKNESS AND LIGHT ITSELF, THE FURY OF THE STORMS OR YOUR OWN DAEMONS TAKE YOUR PICK!" she let them go, still a bit woozy "how in the world am I gonna get used to that" she asked, looking at keith
"I don't know, but it is your power not mine. Now, go destroy the Dragon King."
Onaga stood up "the match between me and our 'lovely' winner will be tommorrow at sundown" he boomed
"This is gonna be fun" said Mage
That night, as everyone recovered, mage looked at the other gods called raiden and keith over, away from the others "are you two ok, I mean after that fight..."
Raiden laughed "I'm fine mage, you both fought well" he saw her eyes a moment, she was frightened "don't worry, you will be find as a goddess, you already know your strength" Mage laughed "doesn't help you know, I mean being human was hard enough, but a goddess, what complications do I get with that" reptile over heard her and smirked "look on the bright side, your little problem of chosing who you want is solved" mage laughed "oh yeah" she fell over laughing along with reptile Fujin only shook his head
"Mage, being a goddess is more work then you thing, the four of us are charged with the protection of earthrealm, and you and keith have the added task of protecting the other realms as well, you must keep this in mind as you fight"
Mage nodded "well my first task is to take out onaga once and for all, then I think shinnok should be gone for good, what do you say boys" reptile nodded "Should I bath him in acid or do you want to warp his mind first?" Mage smiled "how about you two, my gods" she looked at raiden and keith "what do you two say?"
"the second you kill onaga, my life will have become so much better. As for Shinnok, he and I already have issues, so i'll take that bastard out first, not like you're gonna beat me there anyway but... yeah that would be great. Plus I already took out Shao Kahn{or so he thinks} so we have a pretty narrow target list now." Keith then had a distured face. "I have to go, i'll be back before you can say my name, and I mean it." Keith shot off in search for the crime. Then standing before him, was Shao Kahn, alive and able.
"You can't kill me Keith. I killed your brother Cory, who was a better fighter than you, with one swing of my hammer, you think you can stand up to me? I made your sister commit sucide by just apperaing at her doorstep, do you miss tara by any chance? Your parents were the easiest. They actually put up a fight, and both got impaled. Now, it's your turn..."
Mage sensed something in the air "there are days where the dead should stay dead" she muttered as she looked at raiden "Mage, this is something he needs to do on his own" raiden said mage sighed "I know, like me and onaga, and he will" she whispered and closed her eyes, raiden took her hand "but should he be in over his head this moment, we will help him, and if you are in over your head with onaga at any time we will help you" he whispered and smiled "and we will do the same for you and shinnok" Mage added "but he is not ours to kill, onaga is not yours to kill and shao khan is not ours to kill" the others looked on "what the hell are they talkinga bout" said reptile fujin sighed "they are speaking of destiny, each of them have a darkness they must face, and are vowing to help the others as well as fight their own" reptile shook his head "they are gonna need more help then that"
"It's time to die, Shao Kahn." Before Keith could strike, the elder gods transported him to there temple.
"Keith, you cannot kill Shao Kahn as a god. You must relinquish your status as a god to defeat him once and for all."
"I... accept."
Keith was transported back down to Shao Kahn's temple. "I'll kill you as a mortal."
Mage's body shook "something is wrong" raiden held her "its only the elder god's law, keith must give up being a god to destroy his foe, the same holds true for all of us" raiden cringed and mage snarled "I am really starting to hate those guys" reptile nodded "noting khan's power it seems unfair" stryker added "yeah, why not just off the guy in some wraith of god move and end it" fujin quieted them all " because they do not want mortals relying on gods to solve all their problems, and wish to prove to the mortal realms that only those who have a life to lose can protect the realms truly" raiden scoffed "utter nonsense, both gods and mortals are needed" mage nodded "we are all needed and if raiden is any proof, then an immortal can give up just as much as a mortal" mage thought "but for now I guess I need to play by the rules, I too, for now, give up my status as a goddess to fight onaga"
Keith stood before Shao Kahn.
FIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Keith waited for Kahn to make the first move. Kahn tried to punch Keith but Keith ducked down and tried to sweep Kahn's legs. His legs were so muscular that Keith just bounced off with a sore foot. Kahn laughed "You're MINE!!!!!!"
Mage looked at raiden, but didn't have to say a word, in an instant they where sitting and watching the fight, mage stood up "Keith, I can't fight for you, but you can destroy him, god or not, khan is a true weakling, no real power, you have it, you have power, use it well" raiden turned to khan "you pathatic fool, this will be your last breath" he snarled, grinning evilly
Keith got very confident that he would win. He walked up to Kahn and began to throw a punch. It landed with devestating force. Kahn's mask came off. Keith threw another punch and hit him again, making him all woozy. Keith went in for the knock out punch but got slammed with the hammer. Keith tried to get up but got hit again like a baseball/baseball player. Keith could feel he was dying. His thoughts drifted back to the night Kahn killed his family. He could remember the screams, and the sights of them dying. He grew angry. Kahn began to laugh at Keith on the floor. Keith only remembered Kahn laughing at his dad, dead on the floor in the same matter. Keith felt his inner-rage come out.
"KAHN!!!!!!!!!!!!! The only reason I became mortal, was to show you that any mortal is stronger than any god. I have spirit. You have..... death."
And with that said Keith flew out at Kahn. Throwing punches and kicks faster than light. Keith could feel it coming from within him. The will to destroy, destroy everything. No one was an ally. As Kahn was dying on his feet Keith only grew angriyer, and full of hate. This was the true god in him, not so much as the god of light, but the god of darkness. Before he knew it, he was lashing out at fujin. He couldn't tell that it was him, everybody was Kahn, everyone deserved to die. As Fujin went flying into the wall, Keith turned his sight to Reptile. Reptile, being smart, dissappared, and stepped back, staying out of harm's way. Raiden put his hand on Keith's shoulder.
"Calm down Keith, it will be okay."
Keith turned around and attacked him. Raiden was throwing all sorts of lightning energy at Keith to no avail. Keith threw a kick that sent Raiden out the door. His sight turned to mage. He was no longer Keith, he was a puppet of the one being.
Mage ran up and froze keith "SNAP OUT OF IT, HE IS CONTROLLING YOU" she screamed then relized she couldn't get through to him yet, she looked for a way and saw it "YOU, YOU ARE THE REALMS IS THAT NOT ENOUGH!?" she yelled
"you are a fool little one..." it hissed
"let keith go...."
"no, he and raiden are lovly puppets..."
"What? you want raiden too, no fucking way" with that Mage, unleased an attack, "GO BACK TO THE ABYSS" she yelled
"NO, MY BODY WILL BE REFORMED" it cried, fighting back as best it could
"YOU ARE WEAK, DEAL WITH YOUR FATE AND RETURN TO SLUMBER"
the one could not do any more against mage "fine, I will relase my new toy, for now.... but I will return and all three of you will be mine..."
both keith and raiden collapsed on the ground, reptile came out "is it over, is keith done being psyco?" he said shaking, mage only looked "I need them both locked up, rep keep and eye on me, if I start acting weird, kill me" she said soflty "WHAT!?" reptile screeched, mage only sighed "just do as I ask as my friend, please" she said, reptile nodded "ok, but don't think I am gonna like this"
