Ok, I finnaly changed the thread title. I'm still thinking of cool ideas for the collab.

I'm not really much of an animator, but I've got an idea or two...

-Shao Kahn breakdancing!

-Kabal and Cyrax enacting the "I am your Father" Scene.

-Kung Lao the magician (David Blaine joke)

MK Talent Show? MK: Idol?

Apart from the fact that an American Idol pun has been featured in dozens of MK compilation flashes, like MK Out-takes to name one, a WHOLE flash about one of the dullest shows on earth?

Eck.

Sounds a lil boring to me.

You forget how many bad people are on American idol and how funny it is when Paula Abdul goes insane on her criticism its hilarious!

How about....hmmm...

Everyone from MK goes on an epic footrace to get a million dollars. And in the process funny stuff happen and people die. Sound good?

Ok, heres an idea that goes with the last one. Each character tries to get Goro's kitten out of a tree! (Each person fails too).

This sounds interesting. I have no idea how to animate, all I could help on is writing the sequences for the animator. You guys gotta decide on a theme, though. I'd be glad to help if my help is needed.

I wanna change it to "All the characters try to find and capture Goro's lost kitten."

How about something like, each person animated a different character and shows thing from their perspective? One person could do the MK saga from Scorpion's point of view, someone else could pick Raiden, etc. That way each animation would be unique enough and there wouldn't be a whole lot of overlap, eliminating the redundancy.

I agree with ]{ and his idea. Why would you want to put your pooled resources into something corny? It needs to be a more serious Kollab that does proper tribute to MK.

I think a MK fatality thing would be too predictable and un original, and like UR said, we need something that wouldn't.....like....disgrace MK. It's needs to be MK related but still awesome...this is hard.

To expand on my idea, you would show like a brief summary of each person's life, or part of that person's loife. For Liu Kang you could show him and Kung Lao as little boys in the Shaolin Temple (and the monks showing they are proud of their progress) then a grown up Liu Kang leaving to join MK, and Kung Lao jealous (and maybe secretly following him); or for Scorpion you could show him joining a ninja clan despite the fact that his dad is telling him not to, but he needs the money to support his wife and child, then he meets Quan Chi who hires him to rob a Shaolin Temple where he ends up getting killed by Sub. For Raiden you could show him being given the realm of Earth to watch over by the Elder Gods, but then it's immediately attacked by Shinnok so they do battle over it. This way it's not something totally over-done like Fatalities but it would give each person a proper tribute & homage; I could supervise details of the plot if need be to make sure it's accurate to the MK story.

I was looking more towards a comedy type thing, but your idea is pretty cool.

I read this and I thought of something for Scorpion. Maybe we could make him part of a gang and thier colors are yellow, which would explain the yellow ninja stuff. And then he finds a harpoon thing on the ground and starts using it for gang stuff. Then he sees a flier for MK fly in the air. He catches it and decides to go to the tournament.

It's just an idea off the top of my head, nothing complex. You guys could think of something to do with another character.
