An unseen ninja rushes towards the Pyramid of Argus to gains its prize, Chameleon runs up the stairs as other combatants battle each other to reach the top. Using his stealth and cunning Chameleon passes all the fighters as they unleash their fury. Upon reaching the final step, the ninja looks down to see one young fighter quickly running up the stairs eluding many of the combatants, the fighter eluded everyone else but quickly falls as Chameleon unleashes a green blast of energy towards him. The fighter falls down the steps and crashes into other warriors. The ninja's unseen body shimmers red as the residue of the energy leaves his hand. with the final step taken Chameleon prepares to fight the creature that will grant him power supreme.

Blaze forms out of a puddle of lava and fire only to see none have appeared on the arena, the fire elemental quickly turns around looking for any warrior that summoned him to fight. Unknown to Blaze, Chameleon silently walks behind him unseen to his eyes. The ninja lets loose a bright green blast of energy towards the unprotected back of Blaze, the fire elemental roars with fury as he feels the blast hit him.

Blaze turns around to see a ninja in a red garb and watches as it turns blue. The fire elemental rushes towards his fighter only to loose track of him once more, Blaze raises his arms into the and lets loose a roar and slams his hands into the ground. Chameleon stumbles and almost falls to the ground, his invisibility falters and his outfit is seen once again. Blaze looks around to see his attacker form his stance and let loose a projectile of energy once again. The fire elemental places his arms together and blocks the attack and sends one of his own. Chameleon's outfit turns red as he uses the attack of a ninja called Ermac, the ninja charges towards Blaze only to get hit and knocked down by a blast of fire.

Not waiting for a change to react the elemental charges towards the ninja. Chameleon tries to activate his camouflage only to see it falter because of the burns sustained on his outfit and flesh. Black burn marks plague his clear clothing to which would make his stealth easier to see. Quickly Chameleon's outfit changes to a yellow color as he uses a technique of Scorpions. The ninja disappears in a quick blast of fire, Blaze stops his charge as Chameleon disappears, the fire elemental turns around only to see the ninja punch him in the face.

Blaze staggers back from the punch and watches the ninja change to a dark blue and slides towards him. Chameleon uses an attack from, the Lin Kuei ninja known as Sub-Zero, and slides on a path of ice to bash against Blaze. The fire elemental braces himself for the charge and waits for the ninja to connect. Chameleon Bashes into Blaze but failed to do any accepted damage, giving the elemental a free hit against the ninja, Blaze swings his massive arsm and bashes Chameleon across the arena.

The ninja hastily jumps back to his feet and takes his stance before sending another blast of energy. Blaze blocks Chameleons blast and disappears into a puddle of lava. The fire elemental rises out of another puddle near the ninja and slams his fists into the ground. Chameleon turns around in time to see Blaze release a shockwave towards him. The ninja jumps into the air and repeatedly punches him in the face before landing to the ground.

Blaze shrugs off the series of punches and sends one of his one. The ninja ducks under the punch, and runs under his legs to deliver an attack to his back. Chameleon's outfit changes reptile green as he delivers his speedy attack, the ninja turns around and pulls out his sword from a magickal sheath in his belt.

Blaze turns around to face Chameleon and delivers a kick to his chest and flings the ninja 6ft away. Still holding his sword in his grasp Chameleon charges Blaze, the ninja jumps over Blaze and slides his blade down the elementals back. Blaze let out a roar of anger and pain as he swings his fists to backhand the annoying ninja. Chameleon once again disappears in a flash of fire only to appear in front of Blaze and bash him with his sword.

Chameleon takes his sword and unleashes his fury against Blaze, slash after slash the elemental roars and tries to defend himself. Chameleon uses his charge against Blaze and slams into his body the ninja then jumps onto the elementals chest and kicks off. Blaze stumbles backwards after the series of attacks, one giant hand holds onto his chest to keep from bleeding, already knowing that the end is near.

Chameleon backs off a few feet before his outfit begins to turn purple. The ninja raises his hands into the air and clouds quickly form in the sky, a series of lightning bolts strike down upon Blaze. The fire elemental feels his life force draining as he falls to his knees. Each lightning strike brings more damage Blaze. Realizing that blaze is at an end, Chameleon decides to finish him off.

Chameleon takes his sword in hand and quickly rushes into Blaze, the ninja disappears and reappears behind his back to bring his blade down on his flesh only to disappear again. Chameleon reappears to in front of Blaze and delivers an X slash across his body before backing up. Chameleon then delivers his final blow, his hands begin to glow with green energy and lets loose a thin beam that pierces the elementals chest. Blaze falls to the ground and explodes in a flash of green energy.

Chameleon raises his fists into the air as the godly essences flows inside of him and becoming immortal. Chameleon walks to the edge of the pyramid and looks down to the battle below. With a mere flick of his fingers five lightning bolts strike 5 combatants. Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Ermac, Rain and Reptile.

The essence of each ninja becomes forced out of their bodies as the lightning fishes striking them. Soon the essence becomes absorbed by Chameleon taking on all of their skills and abilities, now all that is left...is to face Shao Kahn and destroy him.
