Pretty cool. Surpised you didn't use any effects though. Would of made it look cooler.

Eh... the basic concept of this isn't all too great. Isn't this already one of Ermac's fatalities? Also I agree that you didn't use quite enough effects in this one, which would've made the whole thing more enjoyable. Plus I was pretty surprised that you didn't spam the blood with this, instead you just supplied us with one little drop.
The animation itself was O.K., though I think that you could've given Smoke a sort of "wobbling" animation while airborne.
Overall, 2/5 =)

it's alright i guess. all it needed was some more effects, more blood, and to know that smoke was about to get really fucked up when ermacs hands were closed you shoulda had smoke's body balled up then once ermacs hands opened smokes body unballs then rips in half. now that woulda been cool.
by the way, what do you use to make your animated fakes? i wold like to give fake making a try one day.

About Me
For the most in-depth, in-detail, Mortal Kombat lore analysis vids, there's only one source:

Great use of some of the sprites, e.g. that Reptile forceball pose that Ermac never even uses in-game, it really makes you appreciate all the stuff that happened behind the scenes (like MKW for hosting the sprites, AceKombat's cheat codes that made getting those sprites possible, etc.) so that masterpieces like this could be achieved. Simple, but great, 4 out of 5!

See what happens when you make something simple and don't rely on stupid photoshop effects? People like it.
O'course I'm not people, so I'm not digging the posing and lack of editting goin' on here. But, still, 'tis better then your effects-laden junk. 2/5

Yea those alternate ninja moves are great to have - props to the MKW for that. I'd love to get my hands on some MK4 sprites. Is it possible to rip them?

MK4 didn't use sprites. ^_^

Yeah, impossible. That would tottaly kick ass though to maybe get sprites (or whatever you call them when they're 3D) of MKA characters. We'd have the best animations...

I heard there's a program called "MK Strip" that allows you to rip sprites from the PC version of MK4. I just dont think many people know about it or know how to use it.

Dunno 'bout MK Strip or whatever, and I'm not sure what MK4's like compared to other PC fighting games. But in the PC version of Battle Arena Toshinden you could alter the BG's skins in Photoshop to bright-pink, and then alt-print screen the animations. It took forever though...

Yeah I tried to find it a couple of years ago but it seems to have died a death.
There is a site out there that's got a huge backdate of mods, screenshots etc. and I think some remains of the original MK Strip program but I can't remember the link.
I think it's one of the veteran's sites.
EDIT: Found some info from MKSecrets: http://www.mksecrets.net/mk4e/eng/index.php.
Though the link they send you to no longer seems to work

Umm , about the MK4 ripping method , you can always use the cheat n64 and psx have ( No cheat method I see for pc yet , maybe ArtMoney ? ) and enable stage select for that level with the snow area , for some reason for the cheat you have to restart to load the background and props for that level , so when you start you get a teal background :) Try using that to rip MK4 sprites , I goted some from it :) .
