Hey. As we all may notice, they are plenty of MK fan sites with plenty of material, but few actually have the music and sounds of all of the classic Mortal Kombat games. And if they do, they rarely have all of the sounds, the music may be incomplete or the file just sounds too cheap. (MIDI's for example.)

I'm making this thread so that we may request and post music and or sounds. They could be used for animations, fan videos, and such. Make sure to be specific when you request sounds and music. People may get confused and post the wrong files.

I'll start this thread off by posting a site with sounds and music.

Thank God someone made this thread. I just need some background music from the MK games. The ones at the archive don't work. BTW how r u gonna get these sounds?

It's intended that people who are pros at ripping music and sounds can submit their stuff here and get DP's. Everyone benefits.

alot of the sounds have bad/dead links- not impressed by that. (ps- I went through some of the mk1 sounds list and about 30% dead, after that I left the site -nice try)

I can try to rip background music , and hell make a ADX version if I wanted . Only thing is flash may not support ADX files ( Damnit , hope in Flash 10 they will ) . ( ADX files are files that have a loop point for Dreamcast to PS2 , they can make a music song repeat by looping points and such , if you want to know one way to listen to ADX , use winamp and download ADX plugin )

The links seem to be dead there.

I've got all the bg music albums I can find. MK , MKII , (U)MK3 , MKM:SZ , MKT, MK4 , MKDA , MK:D (still missing a couple)

If someone's got somewhere to upload them to , I'd be happy to oblige.

Also , can someone hook me up with yin yang island bgm and MK:SF intro theme/OST?

Like I said though for flash people , flash does not support it yet , unless somehow flash knows about this kinda music format winamp can run , and try to modify this plugin to run in there new flash program if possible .

Maybe some months old , and I appologize if I am bumping , but I made more adx music for MK1 . http://www.mediafire.com/?2lszd0de5vz . I only got adxes for the stage background musics and finish him/her musics background adxes . Enjoy !
