The top OP character is Geras for many reasons despite some people saying otherwise.... His krushing blows take a quarter of your health most of them more then a fatal blow does and has a stupid dumb poke and jump splash.

-Bottom 2 are probably Kotal Kahn, Shao kahn.... they are just played a little differently and defensively, i dont think they are terrible, but their learn curve is pretty difficult.

-Wild card: Erron black has probably the best fatal blow in the game and a lot of people have trouble against him, however, it could be because he is easy to use and he has no Low starters in any of his combos and the only low he has is a combo ender.

Game seems pretty balanced other than that, the rest of the characters are in the middle tier? and depend on skill.

I would put Geras, Erron Black and Sonya as top tier.

Cetrion, Shao Kahn, and Kotal as bottom 3.

Jacqui, Sonya, geras top

Lowest dvorah shao

Kotal is really good tho. Watch some top plays guys.

Pls can you mention the top guys that play kotal? I'd really love to see their play style and strategy.

I mained him in mkx and I've learned and played him in Mk 11. I'd say the mkx kotal would eat mk11 kotal for lunch

On PC Version there's a player named 'the great kahn' and he's on rank #2 for the whole ladder. I've seem some of his plays.

If you're on PS4 just check the ladder for the best Kotal and keep watching their plays.

Cetrion is OP as fuck the best zoner in the game. Shao and Kotal are some of the hardest hitters just need to play more passively... Dvorah sucks ass shes the worse character i forgot about her.... by far she is the worse.

Cetrion, Shao kahn, Frost, and KOtal are the hardest characters to play in the game hence they are confused with being bad characters.

I love Johnny, but yeah he's definitely not in the top 2 tiers of many tier lists. I have Geras, Skarlet, Jacqui, Erron and Kitana as S-Tier characters, while Shao Kahn, Frost, Kollector and Kotal Kahn are D-Tier. It's all a matter of how well a player can fight with a character who they've absolutely mastered. With those at the bottom of the tier, you'd have to spend so much time practicing they're styles of fighting you'd have to quit your day job, while those at the top don't take too long to master to become efficient with.

But yeah Johnny? He's not in the top, but he's still a bad mofo!
