Why some characters dont have their own get up animations? Is NRS lazy?

Sub-Zero's and Scorpion's get up animation are the one from MKD and MKA and they don't have the ones in MK9. What get up animation does Mileena have? Her get up animation is actually the same as Kitana's, Sindel does that leg twirl thing to get up as well. Mileena and Sindel have different get up animations in MKD. Nightwolf's white beam appears and he materializes standing up, not the same in MKD. Cyrax uses jets from his hands to fly as the same as Sektor and Cyber Sub-Zero. Baraka has the same animation from MKD and MK9. Reptile has the new one, or the same one from each character? I don't remember.
Get up animations from MKD - Ermac, Kenshi, Smoke (Noob-Smoke), zombie Liu Kang (should use it from MKSM), Shao Khan, Sindel, Sub-Zero, Scorpion, Nightwolf, Goro, Raiden and Baraka.
MK9 - Rain, Quan Chi, Shang Tsung, Nightwolf, Raiden, Noob and Baraka only.
Did NRS get lazy to make every characters have the same get up animations in MK (2011)? Why NRS can't get the idea of SKarlet's get up animation? Like she sinks into the floor as a blood puddle and reforms?

No. NRS just enjoys watching certain fans bitch about minor things that don't even ruin the game play.
Seriously, while custom animations for EVERY single type of movement for EVERY single character would bring in a lot of uniqueness and personality... it's just too much god damn work for a developer
All those unique animations would cause the game's file size to be huge. Also, it wouldn't help the loading speed of the game since the animations aren't shared amongst characters. Maybe next-gen consoles will reduce the loading time... but the boost in graphics will just slow it right back down. Since consoles don't allow you to tweak graphics like PC games, there's no real work-around.

I'd rather them devote more time and effort on features that really matter.
I love how when one person doesn't like something or needs more of something from the creators, their minds immediately go into thinking that the team is lazy.
Yeah, making video games sure doesn't take that much effort... Please, as an animator myself, I'm a bit insulted that people actually think laziness is apart of making video games all because there's a lack of something, whether it's big or not. And I'm probably making a bit of a fuss out of this, but this is constantly a thought upon many upon many of heads that don't know a thing or two of how things are actually made in the animation department.

It disgusts me when people accuse games developers of being lazy. Get a clue on how expensive and mentally demanding video game development is before you start throwing around random insults.

Most of them have unique close round win, ranged round win and match win, animations; unique get up animations doesn't matter.
