I want the Coarse statue, the Kombat Pack & skins, and Goro. It's been over a day now and apart from Amazon.co.uk nowhere in the UK has any special MKX listed. Pre-ordering a game shouldn't be this difficult or confusing so I agree now, NRS & WB really messed up for these kollector editions.


Uh oh! You can order the KE and Coarse edition from Amazon UK but it's GAME that has the Goro pre order. Really hoping GAME gets the special editions too.


According to Amazon.co.uk ordering the European Kollector's Edition from them also gets the customer Goro. grin

I CAVED IN, and bought both... If it turns out the Imported Edition on amazon.co.uk does come with the Kombat Pass and Goro then I'll cancel the order of the EU Kollector's Edition.

Agreed with you 100%.

But don't forget this KE is all just extra. What we really care about is MKX and we shall get a kickass MKX game in April.

Welp, I'm kinda glad these kollector's editions are so completely horrid because that saves me a lot of money. I have cool bookends from my MK9 kollector's edition and those are much cooler than these statues.

I will buy and MK characters individually (and they won't be exclusive, if they were they would make that known to try to get more purchases), since I don't care about guest characters and $30 for 4 characters is ridiculous.

There are so many things that must be added into Kollectors Edition. First of all I want to have an art book which includes all works of kharakters and environment design.There also can be behind the scenes of creating new characters and the iconic klassic kharakters.Moreover there should be an option for the fans who can choose and pick their favourite MK kharakter instead of only putting Scorpion in it is kind of not caring MK fans and their favouorite kharacter so much plus,they can easily create the others statue and they should add the whole comic series for the kollectors edition in order to make it much more epic...furious

Does anyone know if they usually sell out by the time the game releases? I'd really like to see the boxes themselves before making a decision but idk if I'm waiting too long to get one of them.

Also, does anyone know if the comic will have a cover between each chapter or all three of the first edition's covers in it? I'd really like to have all those images in the comic and I don't really care if it's not before each chapter I just like the idea of them being in there. Maybe other comics have done similar things?

They wanted to take my money for the kollectors edition but told me that I'd have to pay for next day shipping or I Wont get the game same day, which most of the time my packages arrive later in the day and well, I just want to play the damn game when it comes out. I wonder if since it's so new if it's just not in their system yet, which is dumb bc their exclusive version Is. It really came down to playing it day one.

Depends on your region. For example Amazon.com in USA has completely sold out of the Kollecter's Editon. The Coarse Edition is still available though. Check your region's retailers. If it is sold out, remember this is a pre-order so some buyers might cancel. If possible, arrange for notification of the Edition you want becoming available.

The printed comic has three chapters in each issue. Each cover is different from what I can tell.

Now there (American 1940's Scorpion or whatever) Is an art style I would love to see MK adopt!

Not only because NRS can't do realism to save their lives.(Seriously those faces...)

But because I would love for them to use an art style that wouldn't date this game in a year and also inject some personality into the visuals.

So I also spoke with gamestop today. They had an issue with their SKUs and the Kollectors Edition wasnt properly marked. I guess they fixed it this morning.

Yeah most of the SKU's were labeled as Title Unavailable or Unreleased.

Does anyone know if Gamestop is offering the Coarse edition? I'll most likely get it from Amazon, but if GS has it, I'd rather get it from them. Edit: Nevermind, yes they do Gamestop

When I pre-ordered yesterday they pulled the Coarse Edition up. I went with the $99 variety, so can't say for sure + the girl at the register didn't really seem to know what she was doing.

It's interesting to see that only the next gen consoles get the special editions, too.

You'd think this would really be pushing those old gen gamers to move forward and take the plunge.

Either way, neither of these really has the value matching their price point. The fact that the Kombat Pass could come in around 30$? For 4 characters? Ugh.

Chances are it'll end up being Tremor/Sonya/Cage/Horror Figure

And then they'll gouge you for a season 2.

I didn't try to see before. I figure I'd think about it for a few days. Didn't think they'd run out in 4 days. That's pretty crazy.
