I didn't mean to place the watermark over those, whoops. If anyone wants or needs the images without watermark let me know, kinda a hassle otherwise.

The backgrounds look really kool, but the models don't.And why the hell they kept the real select screen pics ?

P.S. I guess this game is kool for a phone and I think there will be one for PSP, DC and certainly one for the consoles.

Looking at the smaler screenshots om my iPhone itself the graphics don't look as bad. I still prefered the original game with the full cast though.

For an iPhone game, the graphics are pretty good.

I especially like the arenas, The Belltower in particular.

Sub-Zero and Scorpion rape the AI in this game. You can literally freeze and spear your way to the top. Its fun, but not worth seven bucks

The graphics are okay in this game, at least as good as MK4's. I just don't know why Liu's head looks real big in that one pic.

Only 13 characters? Why even call it UMK3 at that poi- oh yeah, it was one of the most profitable ones and seems to be the one pimped out the most... But I do wish that if they were going to do something like that, that they had done MK1 or 2 instead to tie in with the release of the reboot and to at least give a reason for why there are so few characters. It just feels so bare considering there were so many in that game alone...

If I had an iPhone I think I'd be all over this.

I just assumed it'd be the sprites back for the umpteenth time. It might not be spectacularly good looking, or beautifully redesigned, but I'm slightly impressed by the simple fact that it is something new. MK4 with retro characters on an iPhone for a few bucks? Sure! Why not? It sure beats my MK3 for Game Gear.

I'll be interested to see what the endings/secrets are like, when anyone gets around to unlocking them all.

Bought the game.. Graphics are okay. Gameplay has a 5 button interface or the classic 6 button interface. With the classic 6 button setup its easy to do combo’s, but really hard (or maybe impossible) to perform some special moves or fatality’s. With the 5 button layout you have a special button for one button special moves and one button fatalities. But this way you have almost no control what special move or fatality you do.

Oh and somehow on the smallest tower Motaro is really easy. One hit from motaro does less then 10% damage toe you. While one uppercut from you does more then 20% damage to Motaro. I guess this is done because its harder to play this way.

Lets hope they will release more characters with updates like they do with the Street Fighter app.

I bought this game and that graphics may be bad blown up like they are in these pics but on an iphone or an ipad they dont look bad. Especialy when you get in to playing it. The only problem I have with it is the custom button layout. The buttons never stay where I put them.

Bought this from the UK app store today, it's a lot of fun.

Sound: lifted straight from the original.

Graphics: Good. The arenas have been given a lovely touch up- Blue Portal and Church look gorgeous especially. The characters range from OK (SubZero) to excellent (Kang, Scorp, Sonya). The animations are pretty fluid.

Gameplay: almost a cross between UMK3 and MUGEN, where every hit *has* to connect to work- you can rarely flying kick-knockdown then sweep, for example. The AI has been transplanted well.

Controls: the control scheme lets you choose betwen classic and simplified, with a punch / kick / run / block / special move layout. It's far easier to play with the classic layout to be honest, at least you'll remember the moves.

OVERALL: Well worth a look if you liked the classic game. I personally think Liu Kang, Scorpion and maybe Sonya look better here than the original arcade sprites. The 3D models and backgrounds work really well, and more characters would be nice in an update.

I firmly believe that this is the basis of the RUMOURS (note: unconfirmed as of yet, regarding actors or anything else) of the "MKHD Kollection", in that a graphically superior version of this game will materilaise on PS3 / Xbox.
