Jeri Ryan Interviewed by G4TV!

03/17/2011 :: Posted at 09:35 PM by TonyTheTiger
Kiss Off -- G4TV Talk To Jeri Ryan on the Set of Mortal Kombat!
Recently, Andy Allo of G4TV caught up with Jeri Ryan to talk to her about her role as Sonya Blade in the Kevin Tancharoen directed digial series based on Mortal Kombat.

Recently, we've seen still shots of various characters and scenes from the series featuring Jax, Baraka, as well as an action frame of a currently unknown sequence.

In the interview, Jeri Ryan details her role as Sonya and it's physical demands. She also comments on the violent nature of the games and acknowledges that the digital series will be far more reserved and grounded in reality, distancing itself from the much adored tongue-in-cheek fatalities of the Mortal Kombat video games.

Directed by Kevin Tancharoen, the live-action Mortal Kombat series will be released as digital episodes in April. Jeri Ryan stars opposite Michael Jai White and Darren Shahlavi as Jax and Kano, with many more actors appearing across the series [full cast and crew].
