Midway Confirms Delayed Release of MK: Armageddon on Xbox.

09/28/2006 :: Posted at 05:27 PM by DArqueBishop

A bit of bad news was released today over on the Midway Boards. According to Cinder (the admin and Midway employee), the ship date for Mortal Kombat: Armageddon for Xbox has been delayed by about a week. This delay does not affect the release of the Playstation 2 versions, which are still scheduled to ship on October 9th.

Our thanks to forum member hops022 for letting us know about this breaking news story.

EDIT - 6:32 PM - It appears that the thread on the Midway Boards has been removed. Whether this means that this news is incorrect or simply was not meant to be released yet is unknown at this time. We're still checking on this story; as we learn more we'll post it here.

EDIT - 11:03 PM - The thread link above has been changed to the new one; the old one had been removed due to flaming. Our thanks to mortalkombat247 for letting us know about the new thread.
