Dude not to sound like a dick, but you sound like you deserved it. I mean what where you thinking going to work high? It doesn't really matter if you wheren't supposed to work or not that day, if you you didn't feel like working you should have called in sick or some other BS excuse, instead of showing up high to help deal with it. I mean especiallly your dealing with customers. Maybe if you work as as a stockboy where nobody really bothers you might be able to get away with it but come on.

If it makes you feel any better I was actually fired from a job about 6-7 years ago because I sold non-alcholic beer to minors. ! Yeah you read right NON-ALCHOLIC BEER! Theres more alcohol content ina small bottle of vanilla extract compared with a 6-Pack of non-alcholic beer. It becasue of the nature of the product, because it's labeled as beer, and the store was shifting to a new policy that required clerks to card people for it. There was even a sign at my register that said too, plus the register even prompted me to enter the birthdate of the customer. Tecnically stores don't even need a liquor license to sell the stuff, but the kids mom was threating to sue the place I guess. Not a single incident in 4 years that I worked there, human resources reviewed the incident, and just fired me like that. BS if you ask me, but whatever it was for the better. I had that whole summer off to hang out with friends whenever I wanted to instead of getting stuck working.

my work record. i havent recorded an actual record yet, and the only record i own is my grandpas elvis album, which im saving for the right moment when i can hit someone with it. and my police record is fine......for now.

Last year I gout fired from my job. I was working ok, it's just they had a "downturn" in the company. Hopefully those bastards shall close down soon.

I've been trying to get a job, only to get turned down about 20 times. With this and other bad events happeneing, worse time in my life.

Dude, don't sweat it, you worked at Ruby Tuesday's, big deal. You'll get another job. Right after college when I actually got a career and was making money AND was still completely immature and didn't need the money or a part-time job, a buddy of mine and me would go get jobs at places like Chili's, any pizza place that delivers, any retail store where we would be in public working and just act like complete dumbasses, show up late, deliver pizzas late and return hours later while they call and call, never answering the call, point people in the wrong direction like at Sears, "Where's the womens area?" and send them to the other side of the store, say offensive things about women's hair or their size or how they dressed or play completely stupid until the customers frustration completely took over, talk with foreign accents, just stare at them while they asked you questions and never answer, pretend we were mute or deaf or even worse like we were retarded, play obvious jokes on our bosses or get into arguments with our bosses in front of the people shopping and make them look like they were uncaring evil people.

Now some of it was completely stupid and most of the time it was completely hilarious when I was 22. It was actually very freeing to treat complete strangers that you know wouldn't give you the time of day like shit. We did this with the intention of getting fired as quickly as we could and in the most funniest ways. Some of it was pure evil. But, also some of the best memories between my friend and I and we still joke about today. We are obviously older now and don't do stupid shit like that anymore.

Anyway, I always found it easy to get a job at a restraurant like Ruby Tuesdays or Chilis or TGIF or any retail store, etc. Unless you look somewhat strange, you'll find a job again.
