look under 1st stance. its already listed as a free grab.

1 or 1,1 = free grab. its one of those that folks cant duck w/ lag.

I mean seriously this is now 2 stances (Steel Fan) that have zero mids in them. this clearly shows that the folks putting this game together have no clue how their game is played at a high level. its their game how could you give 2 stances no mids???

i personally think he is by far the worst character in the game. imma try him a bit more vs folks online. i guess i could mix up f+3/3,3 and b+2 in 1st stance. even then tho b+2 is only a high mid timing has to be perfect. maybe cs and do D+2 or 3.

Ive been trying to use these write-ups to finally try and understand what u drone on about.....uh I mean, what u expertly inform me of at times (when u decide to come online that is ).

There's something funky going on with Shotokan 1,1,3,2, 3,2, and 2. I know they've been known to give free throws, but it actually seems to be a free hit in general.

I think it seems like a free hit cuz the defender is duck/blocking and receiving mid kick. but I could be wrong and you might be talking about something else all together.

the 1 and 2 hit high mid and the 3 hits mid. making all 3 hits hard to duck if they are touching you. DONT try to avoid the free throw. take the free throw and move on.

I don't think that's it. Specifically I'm talking about the effect of the 2. I was playing against someone who landed a successful 1,1,3,2, and then landed another 2 after that that I'm pretty sure I couldn't block period. I tried it out myself on someone later and it seemed like I got a free 2 after the 1,1,3,2. I'll keep testing it out.

I gotta question about 2, if 2 counts as a freethrow (and I know you can walk up and grab) why the fuck can't it connect to 3 or 2 as an unblcokable combo.

the game allows you to block, but not duck or parry after certain attacks. lag allows some one to duck or parry after.

I know what you mean dan, it's just dumb, it's a wierd combo starter, it's optional before 3B1 or 3U4 but it's necessary to start 2,1 and 3cs. but either way it can easily get blocked afterwards eventhough you landed the first move. thanx for explaining.

Is Nightwolf a good character to use? how is he tier wise?

Nightwolf was considered to be in top 10 of low-tiers but now some people are saying he's low-mid to mid with his weapons and 3,3 combos and shit.

b1 and b1 in tomahawks, any of moves like those arent free throws

ive explained on our tko site to dave MONTHS ago why they are avoidable on the first frame you recover.

ive also showed him online using the very same method, tested it myself, made a video, and can confirm, THEY ARE NOT FREE THROWS. just because people dont know how to escape them doesnt mean they are free.

I really don't beleive that he is or should have even been considered low tier. Mid Tier is where he belongs imo. Since there are no 50/50 chances with him as there were in MKD, plus his throw can be parried/broken, he's not as fun nor as versatile. His Tomahawks are his only threat, but a few people can use him effectively to make him a bit more formidable than one would anticipate when fighting him.
