and in that past topic the aftermath was that almost noone wants a CGI movie,neither a cartoon.
we want real ppl and real(SARCASM) blood!

I don't know if someone changes his mind,but really a movie with actors in meat ,flesh,blood and bones is the most liked option.
and btw i agee with them,it's better a movie with real actor.
if some one wants a CGI movie,it can be a good extra,like The Journey begins.

I'd rather see a live action movie worse than MKA then see the most perfect CGI movie ever. I just hate 3D animation.

Mortal Kombat isn't "cartoony" enough for a CGI movie.

I know, they tried that several times...wasn't great. But who knows?

I would like it ONLY if they looked not cartoony and if the CGI looked real(or atleast sorta real),sorta like the Final Fantasy movie or the opening sequences in MKDA,MKD,MKSM,or MKA,

CGI is actually, imo, a poor excuse for a movie in some cases. It all depends, however, what movie you're talking about. Mortal Kombat, for instance, shouldn't use CGI like The Abyss or Terminator 2. In a Hollywood film, you won't get realism. Stuff is always altered.

Mortal Kombat should really learn off of the movie Jet Li's Fearless. There was little to no CGI in that movie. The fighting and everything else was authentic.

Wether a movie is live with real people or cgi makes absolutely no difference wether or not the movie is a good or great movie. A cgi mk movie could actualy hurt mk, so I say keep it to real people.

Thank you, thats what Ive been saying for a long time now. Unless MK has a really big budget I dont think live action can capture the spirit of the Mortal Kombat games, such as all the brutal fatalities. I think CGI is the way to go.

You may think live action can't capture the spirit of MK doesn't mean that cgi will. Fatlities are a big part of MK but they are not the only thing in capturing the spirit of the Mortal Kombat universe.
