Hmm... (hisses)... I intended this to be a Smoke Love/Hate thread. As for a discussion, how can a cyborg find his soul if he is inactive? This whole soul-finding biz is hurtin' my head.

I know I'm double posting, but what happened? Where are the Smoke fans? Even for the human version?

Human Smoke kicks ass.

I love MKII Smoke, but he looked his best in Shaolin Monks. All that smoke billowing out of him looked awesome.

I can't stand what the did to him in Deception, and Armageddon. That nano/smoke crap he was made out of looked horrible. I never liked any of Smoke's cyborg forms. Everyone wanted to play as Smoke, cause he looked cool in MKII, then when they do make him playable, he's a friggin robot! WTF?!

That's one of my main gripes with MK3. Too techno/futuristic. Like a friggin flash forward.

Hm...Irony...Lin Kuei Grandmaster approving the upgrade... Now riddle me this, why did the developers at Midway say that the current version (A Primary/ D alternate) is a ninja even though it clearly is nanotech?

Summed it pretty well. I prefer Human Smoke over his cyborg form (something that should only belong to Cyrax and Sektor, I believe). However, I don't want him to come back as a ninja, but something else. Nothing comes to mind exactly, but similar to how Scorpion and Sub-Zero got new costumes that set them apart from the ninja scene (as opposed to their alt. costumes).

I like Smoke.

He was a legend to me in MK3 because he was an interesting secret character, and I liked playing as him when he was unlocked. More could have been done with his human form in MK: Trilogy instead of just making him a smokey grey Scorpion. He's fatalities were cool though.

He's definitely one of MK's coolest characters.

I like everyone who appeared in Trilogy except for Nightwolf, Stryker, Liu Kang, and Kung Lao.
