Man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Check the man with the master plan !!
those combos are really beautiful man!!! I played MKDA a lot, but not like that, I was a newb !! lol Damn !!!!
very appreciated !! thanks!!
n big up for your robotiks hands!!
haha, very cool wiid!!!!! i love reading your posts man, theyre so energetic. lol.
dont tell me you aint high when you posting them
MKDA is a VERY beautiful game, its hard to even pick out what is best about it because it is such an all around game.
in my opinion, it would be the best if only 90% of the highs didnt hit mid. i found it to make the game very stupid, but other then that, it is BY FAR, the best 3-d mk game.
and yea the combos are very cool as well. it is so much different then the other mkda vids out there. i think everyone will be as surprised as you when they see it.
thanks as always!! but the batteries in my hands are dying, lol. peace!

That's a nice video, Check. I never got into MKDA but the combos look awesome. It almost feels like MKA is one big rip-off considering most of the stuff are not even original except Parries and Air combo. That video is sweet though. Shame it's not playable online.

I liked it.
It seems you can do certain special moves moves when your opponent is grounded (Puke, Ground Pound, Ice Freeze, etc.). Can you link those into infinite combos? I know BRC and Frost have infinite combos.
Is that power up thing useful at high level play? Looks like rage in Tekken 6 hehe.

i personally feel that mkda has the best combos of the 3 games. they might not be the hardest, but they just look the best all around. theres really no point in making a video with all 3 in the same movie because mkda just stands out like no other. the other 2 are just too similar.
MKA... hmm, well theres no free throws in MKDA, but theres no wakeups in MKDA. also a major flaw in MKDA is 90% of highs will hit mid if you try to duck. the only to avoid them is to duck block instead of ducking. which is stupid because everyone knows it takes longer to counter and move/recover out of block, espicially low block. unless you have retarded weapons that hit from so far away you dont even have to move in.
theres alot of differences between the 2 is what im saying. i wouldnt call MKA a ripoff, if anything called MKD a ripoff because that came before MKA. mkd is nothing like mkda, either is mka. they are all their own games. mkd is just too broke. mka is a good game, but everything its missing is in mkda.
parries were in mkda also. and had their own button, so you could back block (yay), weapons were also notparryable, and the recovery off parries was much better. there was also no parry cancel ( biggest glitch in mka ) or way to cancel it. i do think however there was a way to cancel after being parried. you could block, i think it depended on the move that gets parried.
throws were blockable (yay) any smart player will tell you that with this type of engine that throws need to be blockable. or else the entire game is counter walk up throw. ( too overpowered )
jumpkick cancels are in mkda. not exactly air kombat. but whatever, air kombat in general was a 7 hit combothat did basically nothing anyway, you couldnt drop back down and combo on the ground ( yay for ac ) air cancel made the game totally deep and original and enough to call it its own game despite being the 3rd in the bunch and also it being broke. jumpkick cancels arent really broken in mkda, you cant do anything midscreen with them except with scorpion, which is too deep of a kick to land on someone unless they sleepin.
glad you liked the vid, been a while since we bullshitted. keep cool brother. holler at you down the road.
and yea, too bad it aint online. what id give to play someone in mkda, and with my gc pad

holy fucking shit, its kingdave! ; D how you been man? when we gonna catch up on old times?
hmm, well that i know of there is 6 or 7 known infinites
sonyas kiss ( 2 ways of doing it )
bo's puke after his dial up pop up ender in stick.
sub zeros ice shaker, ( this is a just frame infinite though, remember in mkd when we would practice, sometimes i would freeze you, then time a freezeball from full screen, then freeze you again before your block frame? well thats how this one works )
frost's slide, ground freeze repeat.
drahmin's popup, then backdash cancel into free ground pound, repeat.
in the corner i believe anyone with a shove can keep walking up and shoving since its unblockable and you cant move. i cant think of anything else, sorry man.
powerup would be useful for frost , sub zero, and sonya since they all have stuns which allow them to powerup then combo before recovery.
tekken lookin like mk you say? cant be
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r5qzRJRBolU
tell me that shit doesnt look like jutsu online, haha. it basically is the same thing, but the input is different. youll see me right at the very begining just simply duck then start sliding ; D
cant do that with ps2 pad, thats for sure. cant sidestep, cant block, cant move right, period. not to mention the fact when i go to do a low with a ps2 pad ill wind up pressing down and still do a high attack. fuck sony. youve seen the new ps2 controllers in the stores? theyre only 15 dollars now, compared to 25 before and wow do they suck. worst 15 bucks i ever spent.
anyway, get at me during the week dave, sorry ive been very busy, this shit is crazy, but i should be done very soon
thanks for watching the vid, vlad. its good to see you still keeping it real, homie.

Nice detailed analysis, Check. Thanks for taking the time out to explain what sets them (MKA and MKDA) apart. And yeah, hopefully MK8 brings everyone together in the future.
Do you play 2D MK? I've never seen you post any 2D videos or is it not your forte?

Great Job dude . hopefully with enough of these vids , theyl make it online for the ps3 , lets just cross our fingers .
Can't wait to see this on Youtube, I am sorry but I still have a shitty computer with a 1 GB hard drive (yeah seriously lol my old 20 gb one messed up) so I will have to wait.
Yeah the game has infinite combo's, but a lot of them are pretty useless and unsafe or are timed infinites (have limited damage) which kinda sucks because I like doing 100% combo's like in umk3 (which you won't see me do often because I suck at them lol)

thats what i do trax ;)
well id really like to get into another detailed anaysis from it. but im simply completly worn out, and to take a few days off.
but yea dude, i am addicted to mk3/mk4. i used to consider myself a combo god in that game. but i was way off, i didnt even find 1% of the shit that the main old school mk contributers have found.
my favorite shit was in mk trilogy, i used to turn the health to 1% per hit. i think it was called Low Damage. so basically whoever was the first to hit each other 100 times won. it was great practice, and i thought it was pretty back and forth between players and very balanced.
i would love to do a UMK and MK4 video, honestly im not skilled enough to do either. i wouldnt call it lakcof skill but more of preference
one day ill do it though. i promise

i feel ya on the online portion. the game is very stable, i dont see why it couldnt. i could be wrong but maybe there are issues why it cant or didnt. im sure it will be done at some point. like u said, if mk2 and 3 got in there, im sure in a couple years, this generation will see its shine.
you got back to me, i didnt get back to you because ive just been that busy, i didnt even visit the site. i had so many problems after my computer back. thankfully hopefully prayfully this is as good as its gonna get, its lasted longer then its had since i got it back.
what i would do is install the video device, then as the days went on, it would start to fail, then eventually just be corrupt.
so what else could i do, u know. i just kept reinstalling it, and it finally seems to have worked because it hasnt decreased gradually at all day by day.
anyway im real sorry, i read it, its all good. i tried playing the other night and its just too horrific. when the time comes for me to get cable, you can count on me being there alot. god knows i owe it to plenty of players
later funk, as usual, thank you for the support, it is well noted, and cant tell you how it is to be back to see it. feeling great as a result

thanks again bone, you were the first person to download it, so i appreciate that and all. i was real worried about the audio and such. thanks for reiterating my thoughts.
its crazy, its like, all the players who play mka mkd online would play mkda too. why the fuck wouldnt they make it. they could rerelease it and fix a few bugs and be ready to go. cant be that hard since it was already been released. why the fuck not? someone should bang on their doors, for real man, lol
holler at me in the next few days, gonna be gone most likely, but ill be chilling, taking a break from this combo madness.
ps2 d-pad is not crap, although i find some ps2 controllers to be better then others the new plain black ones break and suck so bad (new as in 2 years old) and the colored ones green blue ex. seem too be made better.,never tryed a GC controller though so i dunno really.
try a x-box controller and say ps2 d-pad sucks LOL

man, thats fucked up, i was gonna get the colored one when i got this new controller few weeks back.
omg, though, YOURE 100% RIGHT. the pads theyve put out towards the end of MKD have sucked real bad. on all my controllers, first off. theres this one spot on the controller that after like a month, has this white spot, it looks like the plastic is melting. its very small, right above the right on the dpad. but on EVERY CONTROLLER i see this shit.
anyway, all pads wind up the same way, the down on the dpad just gives out. thats why i cant even be bothered with one for more then a few months.
but you have no idea, they have an even newer version of the ps2 pad in stores. theyre only 15 dollars now, and the dpad is already loosened in. it fucking sucks. so basically, the reason im holding onto my controller for a few months is already there. blows.
i honestly dont think ill be buying another standard black ps2 controller.
xbox is garbage, nothing else to say about that.
but a gc pad, its a little like the xbox. since the dpad is so small, youll randomly jump at times, BUT THATS IT. other then that, the shit feels like playing on the analog on a ps2 pad. you ever try that shit? its more precise, and responds better.
so with that said, ill give you that, ps2 pads dont suck, theres never any bullshit with the jumps and the shoulder buttons are very good for mk. bad part is theres no place to slide your finger from left/right to up and down. that space in between them is what sucks about it.
but a gc pad has that dpad, its just a little too small. and the shoulder buttons are huge and loud as fuck when you press them. also you have to use Z to throw, which is definitly wack. also the way the buttons are arranged are kinda awkward. but with mk all u need is 2 moves, lol.
so yea all in all,i go with things that benefit movement, spacing defense and blocking. the only problem like i said was the random jumps, but for some reason it only happens to me on the right side. never happens on the left. EVER
gc will also fuck up your hands that theyll be hurtin the next day, thing is a beast. those shoulder buttons get to be too much after a while.
i seen that logitech wireless one, it looks like normal dpad like GC, you ever tried it? only reason i didnt buy it was it was like 40 bucks in the store, fuck that.

With your talent, Check, I'm damn sure you can pull off anything anyone else can pull of in the 2D world. I really don't know how you got so creative with half of the shit you do and I never bother trying them out because it may take me years + I lack patience..lol

thank you Gtrax. its been good talking to ya last few days man.
i appreciate the support, i think i can do it too.
man oh man, you have no idea bro... mk4.... i used to play that shit constantly, i had all the combos down in that game. I WILL MAKE A MK4 VIDEO SOMEDAY. i promise. i had that game down cold.
you know what else i fuckin owned at? killer instinct 2!!! i dont mean to brag, in all seriousness, because its just the flat out truth. but i am best ki 2 player in the world. ive never lost a match except when my mentor was training me in it. after that he never won and eventually he stopped coming to the cades. and this guy was NASTY bro. to this day he showed me a breaker infinite with tj combo that still hasnt been discovered by anyone else. or posted on the net anywhere. this infinite is fuuuucked up bro. i will never ever release in honor of him. his tag was ACE.
but here i am, i dont know how old i was. 13? young as hell, i know that. playing ki gold on my 64, straight up owning with every character, doing everyone;s combo!! just like mk4 man. i swear to god, it was inevitable that i would end up making some kickass combo video/s.
those 2 games... and for real, cuz i still got my 64 and play it on occasion ( PD64 ALL DAY SON! ) and mk4 cant be hard to find for psx. you can count on me making a video for those 2 as long as i still stay interested in the 2 because i havent played it in so long.
god those were the fuckin days.. id love to get some umk matches posted up too, ask versatile about me in that game, me and him used to ball. i recall one of the last times we ever did, him just going nuts after he saw my ermac he was like damn! lol. thats my dude right there though. too bad he wont play me anymore in that shit.
when i get a new usb controller, somebody has got to play me in UMK on the ZSNES. last person i played was konqrr and we capped the matches. i won 25-11 and the matches were badass. ima ask him if hes still got em cuz he was supposed to post them up on his website before he took it down.
well if you want to know the secret to my creativity its my creativity. haha. in all honesty, as you get more creative with things you just keep evolving, it just comes natural. like a person writing songs or painting pictures. it becomes second nature 24/7 type of deal, feel me? of course theres some things that youll say. "theres just no way some of the things youve done could of been done like that" well my friend, thats all luck i tell ya!! im a lucky guy, what can i say? im very blessed and have a good life, im not distracted by anything and always have a clear and level headed head. im probably one the most down to earth people youll ever meet in person, i dont judge people, i just chill, sit back and do my thing and live inside my head ; )

MAn Check! I can believe you grabbed my attention through that post..lol.. You're a bastard! lol
Now we all know what makes you tick. You must have a substantial level of patience and perseverance to do what you do though.
Let me sum you up with this quote from 'Calvin Coolidge'
"Nothing in the world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination are omnipotent."
--------
With those 2 things, one could do anything... Pretty much anything!

i definitly dont let anything bother me when i combo. it just self-realization whether or not its gonna happen. one thing ive learned is if a combo isnt working for you, theres no point in sitting there for hours and hours because YOU WONT GET IT. put the controller down, and try it another day. because there is something subconsciously stopping you from achieving your goal. it can be complete and utterly subliminal.
but,.. your instincts will tell you. "yes keep going" or "no, stop trying" to sit there for days and just say to yourself "man im never going to get this combo" its not a enjoyable feeling. espicially when you dont even know that it works!! can you imagine that. getting up to the point of the combo that you couldnt get working for days and days. just this one tiny moment of chance that youve been wiating for. a matter of seconds. patience? more like the attention span of a pure genius. and to not fuck it up, because trust me, theres times i have.
all in all, it is a great test of not necessiraly persistence , but perseverance. a self-handling test to an overall better well being. you know what kind of adrenaline these things give you? its almost god-like. you walk around afterwards feeling SO GOOD. its worth every minute of it. then to come here, and feed off others reactions. a large part is the community here that keeps me going i love seeing their reactions to things after feeling so good. it makes me feel even better, then the process repeats itself over and over. and the feeling of feeling good NEVER leaves. it just keeps growing. i remember when i had no audience basically. ( look in the 2002-2006 section stickied combo thread. youll see me post in there constantly and not a word was spoken ) and i would do combos. the type of adrenaline rush i would get would be like a boost of serotonin. i would just get up after it, take a long deep breathe, and inhale the good and exhale the evil.
thats basically how it goes. i love the quote though, espicially the first line. all in all. if you know in your heart of hearts that what you are doing is right, then you must go for it. like i said very early in this post. and when its not. you have to know also. as a veteran now, i can see the error in my ways. but when i couldnt, i would sit there for hours trying to make it work. not realizing that something was preventing from completing my goal.
and...
"MAn Check! I can believe you grabbed my attention through that post..lol.. You're a bastard! lol"
i happen to be writer as well. in fact, i was a writer before i was a combo maker. ( mkd and on ) in fact, i pretty much gave up writing to focus my attention on combos. some will tell me i was stupid for doing this. but i went the way my heart tells me. and thats real. perhaps one day ill get back into writing. but i look at it as more of a phase that has left an everlasting effect on my psyche. sound familiar? ; )
