Awesome New Special Edition Cover? (Features 12 Characters with New renders!: Small pic)
I haven’t seen this news posted, so I just thought it would be nice to share with the community (Small picture btw):
As much as I love the “Normal one”, I was disappointed we didn’t get any female to represent the MK side, but this amazing cover not only features Wonderwoman again, it also has Sonya Blade representing the MK side!
Yay!
It’s such a very pretty+cool cover and the characters look fantastic. Even from that small pic you can tell how menacing Sonya, Batman and Scorpion look. But one thing that should be kept in mind, is that this picture might probably not be the new cover for the collectors edition, maybe its the cover for the Comic Book John Tobias drew!
That would also be fantastic!
The characters, in order of size and place in the box picture are:
From MK:
1- Scorpion
2- Sonya
3- Rayden
4- Sub-Zero
5- Kano
6- Liu Kang
From DC:
1- Batman
2- Wonderwoman
3- Superman
4- Flash
5- Green Lantern
6- Captain Marvel (?)
I’m extremely happy they chose Sonya yet again (actually, I'm overall happy with all the coverage and stuff we've gotten from her since the start), but I do admit I would had loved to see other male characters. Obviously, there isn’t enough room in that box art pic.
Overall, AWESOME cover or comic book pic! Much better then the normal one.

This looks amazing, and Alex Ross is an incredible artist but what the fuck happened to the shirt we were supposed to receive in this preorder?!?!
The price has stayed the same, yet the shirt is NOT there anymore?

Scorpion is not really one of the heroes, so I doubt that was their intention.
Also, as much as I like Jax, he isnt as iconic or recognizable as the ones that were chosen for the cover. We know the metal arms scream MK, but Kano has a lot more of that factor.
