Ed Boon's official website, Noob.com, has updated with a new image from what is likely a story mode scene between Mortal Kombat's ninja spectre, Scorpion and DC's clown prince of crime, the Joker!
Joker taunts Scorpion as they appear to be freefalling (likely in Gotham). The style seems to be a play on the Freefall Kombat mode that appears within the fighting portion of the game itself. The Joker is the first DC character to be featured in one of Ed Boon's uploaded screens. On the site, the image is titled "greatgag".

as for the shot itself. it's o.k. I just pray the dialogue isn't gonna be that corny throughout story mode.

Pretty disappointing image(s). If you're going to give us a cutscene image every week at least make it decent enough to "WOW" me so that I have something to look forward to. These screenshots are lame and they don't do any justice.
