I really wish you would consider watching your diet and definitely exercising. Exercising is one of the best things in the world, at least for me. I swear everytime I get back from the gym I can see a difference. And I feel a difference. Not to mention the endorphins that get released. And testosterone too? I don't know, I always feel like banging something when I get out unless I'm too sore to move. But either way man, I'd say yes, males getting cosmetic surgery is something we don't hear about very often. But men caring about their appearance is becoming less and less of a rarity these days. Do what you're going to do. I wish you the best in luck in eating right and living a healthy, fit lifestyle.

One of the reasons I'm against this type of surgery is from my understand of the procedure is liposuction physically removes your fat cells from your body, not just the fat. Those cells are part of your bodies structure, and designed to store fat for when you need it. Your messing with your bodies natural composition with liposuction.
Also even though your doing it to remove fat cells, your also giving the remaining fat cells room to expand even more, which means you run the risk of having the weight come back anyway.
If it's just a little weight your better off dieting, and exercising. Plus it would help you live a better lifestyle that contributed to the weight in the first place. Just having it magically removed doesn't change the underlying reasons you put the weight on in the first place. Liposuction was really designed for people that where stupid enough to let their weight creep up over 500lbs.

There are so many views on weight loss. Personally I've seen better, and quicker results with weight loss doing cardio over weight lifting. With weight lifting your going to bulk up, and actually put on weight the first few weeks (even month or so) before you start to see any weight loss.
When I was going to school, I'd easily loose 5-10lbs the first week or 2 back every year just adding an extra 2-2.5 miles a day, 5x a week.
Liposection for men=completely unacceptable. I guess it's more of what you-believe-in thing. If there is a chance you weigh over 500 pounds, and your too lazy to work it off, live or die with your mistake like I would. Im just over 208 pounds at 6'5''. At 400 to 500 pounds I'd probably be dead anyway from just knowing I would carry that much weight around. .

Not to sound bad, but I don't expect men to care about how big their guts are. Women are the ones who will die to be thin. I see more men walking around shirtless with a big gut comfortable as hell than women.
If you wanna lose weight just get a pedometer and walk 10,000 steps a day. I don't know if it works, but I read it's recommended.

Regarding weight lifting to lose weight, that's not the way to go at all. Cardio is the way to go. Just running, playing sports like basketball or soccer are great ways to lose weight.
Lifting weights has nothing to do with dropping weight, surprisingly.

Well, it does have some positive effects on the metabolism. Building muscle in general is beneficial because the more muscle mass you have, the more calories your body is going to burn each day. The problem is people tend to overstate the caloric amount, when in reality your only burning like 5-10 extra calories a day for every extra pound of muscle.
So for the most part, I agree with ya. Cardio is the best way to go, but if one can safely work in weight-lifting, there are a good number of benefits.

i know: that part was like making you big, when i said, i was hitting the gym and lifting weights to gain massa/meat, simple was that after a while i couldn't become big. but Football/soccer saved me as a teen age boy in italy. Some people get big easy and drop it 2. Thats all i meant before. peace.
