Hi all,
I've begun writing a strategy guide of sorts for MK 2011. It of course is limited to my experience with the demo available on PSN, and my limited experience at PAX with a newer build. The combo section is still mostly incomplete, especially for Sub-Zero, but I wanted to post it on here and get some feedback before I proceed any further.
Things to note: The combos in the guide are by no means the highest damage combos possible. The combos I've chosen are based on several things including multiple opening variations, ease of use, and ease of landing in an actual match. Also, the combos and damages listed are for combos that do not use the super meter, so by changing special moves to the ES version, you will certainly net more damage. I'm almost finished with a new batch of combos (hits, percentages, and variations), as well as meter modified combo versions. New Mileena hard combos in the 40% range, etc. Hopefully I can have that all updated by tomorrow, as well as have the approval from GameFAQs. Once it is up on GameFAQs, I will post the link in this thread.

*Update 3/17/2011* So I realize that not everyone will have access to word processor programs, and GameFAQs also did not like it much because they rejected my orignal submission
However, I've made a major update and converted it to a text/notepad document like traditional FAQs found on sites like GameFAQs. To gain access to the new document click the following link:

On the left side of the screen there will be a word doc. Save it to your desktop, and rename it as a .txt file instead of .doc to view in notepad.
Hopefully GameFAQs will quickly turnaround the newly submitted document, that way I can just provide a link to there.
The format is way cleaner, I've added a table of contents with search ability, as well as updated Scorpion's strategy section, and overhauled all of Mileena's combos.
I'm continuing to refine the combos for all of the characters, and after the next update I will be HD capturing them and posting them on YouTube. I will embed the links in the strategy guide, so that you can quickly access the videos for the combos you are reading.
I'll hopefully have that update done by the weekend. I will also be ellaborating in more detail in the strategy section for recommended moves and follow-ups (instead of just unsafe and overhead attacks).

Scorpion's Fatalities are F, D, F+2 and F, U, U+1 you have them listed as using B instead of F. Otherwise good start! Will be good to see when you are done.
The best combo I've been able to do for Scorpion:
1, 1, Spear, JP Pop-up, Dash and B+2, JK, Teleport, JK, Teleport, JK, Airthrow (12 hits, 49%)
Sometimes I start it after a JP though too. Though after reading your guide I may need to get better at doing the Gravedigger combo (2, 1+2) and see what that does in place of the initial startup for my combo (1, 1). I find the timing on the JK, Teleports one after the other to be kinda difficult sometimes (perhaps I'm just not very good though, lol). I'm inconsistent at it but even with failed attempts I can pull off at least high 30%'s to mid 40%'s with ease anywhere on screen and against Expert demo CPU or my brother (who's not too bad at the game himself).
Also a super super easy combo for Scorp:
JK, Airthrow (3 hits, 20% dmg.). Works great against airborne opponent. May possibly even work against a still standing one. I never thought to try but I was fighting my bro and I think I did it accidentally. Will have to play more to confirm.

Thanks for pointing out the Scorpion fatality issues--I must have been on the P2 side when I gathered that.
Thanks for the combos...I have quite a few in the works right now for Scorpion, so I'll definitely take a look at the combos you listed and may include them in the next update (or some variation of them--I know I have a few that end with air throws in the works, so I'll check my damage vs. yours and difficulty).

B+1, 2, Ice Ball, JP (Pop-up), dash, B+1, 2, 2, 1, 4, Ice Slide. I believe this does something in the forties.
The Ice Slide can also be replaced the X-Ray to do something close to sixty.
Sorry I don't really know the percentages myself. However they will for sure be less in the final build since the damage scaling isn't as great as it will be in the final build.

Great, thanks for the Sub-Zero combo--I haven't been working on him much. I'll test it out tonight and make the update to the guide.
The guide is completely based on the demo version of the game, so once the full game is released, all of the information in the guide will be re-tested and updated accordingly to any changes.
Tonight I'm running a test to gather frame data, so this weekend will probably be just gathering frame data and updating the guide.
The guide passed the initial exam at GameFAQs and is currently in the content review phase, so hopefully it will be up later today, or tomorrow. Again, I'll post the link ASAP.
Please feel free to post any combos, I'll test them, refine them if necessary, and add them to the guide, and of course providing credit in the guide for your contribution

JP/JK = jump punch/kick
JP pop up = from a standing position, push up to jump straight up, then execute a punch
1-4 = X/Y/A/B or square/triangle/X/O depending on your system.

Thanks for bringing up the JP-Popup--I describe it in the shared moves section, but not in the shorthand section. I'll make that update.
