That's a great idea. To be honest, I don't care how they do it. I just want Sub-Zero back.

Great idea, Brad. Assuming they don't retcon CSZ, of course.

They probably won't. Maybbe fix it, but not retcon it. How dumb does this sound:
"Hey lets do another MK with the best story, that all the fans will love."
Ed Boon: "It's the best story in a Mortal Kombat game..."
3 Months later:
"Yeah..... RETCON.'"

I'm guessing because...I'll just let someone outraged by the idea explain it.

That's a good idea. Unlike CSZ.
because, IMO, robot assassins are a bit goofy and we already have a few...so why would they want to take my, and many other's favorite character and main characters of the story and mess him all the fuck up. Its a bit like taking sonya and turning her into a dude...through magic of course...or making raiden suddenly the god of teddy bears. Worse yet, it seems they did it SOLELY to "shake things up" and for no real good damn reason. that's a few reasons why I don't like it anyway.

Either way, there's no doubt in my mind that Sub-Zero will become human again in MK10. It's gonna happen.
Hmm, I wonder if the designers remember this chamber.
This always interested me, since it's a healing chamber, what would happen if someone like Scorpion went in there? Or Raiden?
Drahmin is technically an undead, and his ending showed it healing him very fast, and even merged him. I don't want to see any merging in the future, but both abilities are odd enough to take notice of.
If this is remembered and used in a sequel, Sub-Zero's flesh while being fully healed should overpower the cyborg parts.

Apparently, some images from a recent news article showed them looking at Quan Chi's unused Living Weapon. Who knows?
MK Fans are so unacceptable to change. You guys just expect everything in this alternate timeline to go the exact same way it did (which failed).
Personally, I like the idea of Cyber Sub-Zero. It gives something new to his story. As much as I love Sub-Zero, his story just got boring as it progressed. I am glad to see something interesting going for him.
Besides, you guys wanted Human Smoke, now you got him, and instead get Cyber-Zero. Ironic how that worked.

They think this ruins his character, which it likely does.
Of course, there's likely a few ways it could work whether he stays human or not.

I guess expressing if you like or dislike cyber Sub-Zero is relevant here, but this is more on technique.
It would be more relevant to comment on the how to.
Pretty much putting another option on the table.

Who knows, the other games could still happen, only altered to fit the new timeline. On topic, still a great idea. What would happen if a god went into that thing? What would they become?

The would turn into a dog (?).

A dog that shoots lightning out their ass?
Eh, better that than Kidd Thunder.

No, we don't. I don't understand why people are not seeing this. I am completely fine with his arcade ending which is completely different.
Spoilers: (Highlight to reveal)
Because he teams with Scorpion, and he also pretty much ends up hating the Lin Kuei which is different, because he wanted to reform the Lin Kuei in later games. Assuming that his ending continued into the next game he would try to bring down the Lin Kuei all together. Which would be different because he's not trying to become grandmaster, he's trying to kill the Lin Kuei.
They can be different without ruining a character, people who aren't fans of Subz just don't see it because they like that people are pissed off about this. Which is retarded because if their favorite character was in this position they'd be pissed too. The thing here though is that Sub-Zero is a mascot of the brand, and you can't make that drastic of a change to him without pissing people off majorly. Like me.lol

I do agree with one thing you said though. Everyone was saying come on give us human smoke, well we did get him and in exchange get this crap which I knew would happen. That's why I never once said I wanted human Smoke. I always wanted cyber Smoke to return, because I knew they were just dumb enough to pull this stunt. If it comes down to Smoke or Subz biting that bullet then, well Smoke it was nice knowing you.lol The funny thing is Smoke still got a pretty crappy story too, and if those pictures are true he even has a look which his fans don't like either. So basically, they traded in Cyber Smoke for crappy story, crappy human Smoke. So there you go Smoke fans, you happy now?
Nothing is wrong with a Cyber-Sub-Zero. It all just depends on who they choose. IMO, they should have used the corpse of the older Sub-Zero and transformed him into a Cyborg.
You'd have the young Sub-Zero deal with his own brother trying to kill him and maybe even Noob, who's the former Sub-Zero's soul, deal with his own body. There could be more done with such a story direction, than to simply switch Sub-Zero's and Smoke's roles.

I'd be fine with the whole Elder Subz body thing. I've even said before I'm not opposed to cyber Subz, I'm opposed to how they have done it though. They shouldn't have done that to Young Subz.

Of course it's not like Quan-Chi will simply let him into his inner sanctum. Unless Raiden agrees to be Quan's personal Bitch (which isn't a stretch in this timeline) or Scorpion suddenly gives a fuck. Or Noob...Nah Noob won't do shit.
Oh wait Maybe this could be how you introduce Sareena into the picture and one of the first things she does is sneak Cyborg Sub Zero into Quan-Chi's inner sanctum as returning the favor for being spared by Bi Han in Mythologies.
