Can you explain the significance of the Kombat Kodes in the Krypt listing? Do you need to purchase a Kode there before you can use it?

I think this confirms that every character has only 2 fatalities exept some classic ones like scorpions toasty...... this sucks NRS had much time to include more.

Guarantee there are hidden Fatalities in the game. The Babalities don't even show up a lick until you do the input for it, so they might have some Fatalities like that as well. Don't trip.

Everyone no matter what can use it, just have to do the input, the only thing exclusive are the Retro Costumes.

yep, so lazy.
so lazy they gave us 28 unique fleshed-out playable characters plus bosses, each with at least two costumes, most with more than that. so lazy that as well as the bog standard arcade mode (complete with awesome comic style endings), they gave us a brilliant tag-team mode, giving us infinite possibilities with multi-character combos and with three different tag-in options to add as much variety as possible. they then very lazily implemented a brand new super meter, allowing us to incorporate enhanced moves, combo breakers and the amazing brand-new x-ray moves - you know, the thing that they had to model every character's ENTIRE FREAKING SKELETAL AND INTERNAL ORGAN SYSTEM, just for the sake of ONE move per character which may or may not be used in a fight. on top of all this, this mk returned to the classic 2d fighting plane, allowing for much quicker gameplay and better combos.

they designed almost 30 BEAUTIFUL 3d stages, including all of our favourites from the original games, re-imagining them in modern day graphics. some of them have brutal stage fatalities as well.

not content with this bare-bones fighting engine, nrs then very lazily wrote and animated a (roughly) 6-hour story mode spanning three mortal kombat games and finally allowing us to watch the glory days of mk in all its 2011 glory. as if that wasnt enough, nrs then, and this REALLY takes the piss, went to the trouble of designing a brand-new challenge tower, with a mere 300 CHALLENGES?!?! all of which involving different characters, different objectives, different opponents, different stages - even some unplayable characters designed wholly for this mode. they even gave us the classic test your might, test your sight, test your strike and then went and created a whole new one called test-your-luck, with several different randomly generated variables resulting in literally hundreds of different scenarios to fight in.

they've even promised a tonne of dlc to go with it all, in fact they've already announced skarlett, a rumoured character from the original trilogy, and kenshi, one of the if not the most popular post-mk3 characters, as the first batch.

but yeah, only giving the characters 2 fatalities each is pretty poor. must be because nrs are so damn lazy. i mean, come one, did they make this shitfest of a game in a day or something?

I heard that to unlock alternate costumes you simply had to beat the Arcade Ladder with that character. So how are there alternate costumes in the Krypt?

Hey I have a question, if you unlock an alternate costume by finishing arcade, or unlock a secret fatality by performing it, does it go away in the krypt? I mean does it not show up as something you haven't bought yet so that I don't waste money on it not realizing I already have it?
