Floating around the obscurity of Mortal Kombat Raredom, mainly among MK fansite bases, there have been talks of the existence of an "MK bible" outlining the MK history and "ten commandments" to writing MK. Up until now the odds of seeing this "bible," or even hearing anything factual about its existence, was about as rare as they come in the MK Raredom.

Behold. A copy of this document was recently for sale on E-bay and yours truly, known for bringing you rare MK items many people never knew existed or never seen (both the case here and you'll know why in a minute) bought it. The document was written with the intent of being internal, however, because of the covers and the credits published, it is believed this document was originally planned for commercial publication. The seller of this document bought it from a garage sale in Los Angeles. This version is a very rough draft, so rough that the character design sketches (not currently available as I have to finish scanning this document) were often titled with a permanent marker. The document itself is bound using a very odd system not even seen in screenplays. It was finished up until the author's biography, where it was never included but a placemarker page does exist for it.

The best discovery thus far this document provides evidence for a missing Shinnok episode, that at this time no one is aware whether or not is was actually produced or left at this stage.
Below is a list of the contents this document has. These scans I am providing does not include the Pilot script or the MK3 sketches and movelists:

An overview of the Mortal Kombat Universe
The mythology and history of the Mortal Kombat Universe
The plans for the Animated Series stories
The "Series Commandments"
The Character Descriptions
Story Guidelines
Character Designs
The Pilot Script: "Kombat Begins Again"

Interesting find. Thanks for posting this. The download only seems to have 13 pages: are there more, looking at the contents list? If so, any chance of the pilot script?

Thanks very much. It'll be very interesting to see what they planned for the series.
EDIT:
Some additional episode plotlines:
Shinnok's Return - as you mention above, this features the fallen Elder God. Like Quan Chi, this might be his first appearance in any MK media.
Kano Steals Home - Kano (back from the dead, it seems) steals Rayden's scepter.
The Secret of Quan-Chi - different to the aired episode, this focuses on the sorcerer manipulating Reptile and his people. This could contradict the Acid tongue episode.
Resurrections: similar to the aired episode, except Shang Tsung must locate and destroy the Earth Realm headquaters.
Untitled episode - Motaro leads an invasion of Earth Realm, while Nightwolf has to deal with a toxic spill on his people's land. The latter is a ruse to lure the shaman into another realm, from which he cannot escape.
It is interesting to see Jade referenced in the Characters section, whose allegiance is listed as unclear. Again, it seems that no one stays dead for long in the MK universe.
