I'm not sure what you're confused over? Ono jokingly dismisses the suggestion of SF x MK. It's not a secret that they've discussed it at some level but there really hasn't been any sort of plan to see the two franchises in a "x" game.

I would love to see it and for a time it seemed like it was going to happen, but SFxT seems to have taken the winds out of the sails.

I'm not really a Street Fighter fan, but I would like to see it happen. As long as it didn't get in the way of development of a pure MK release, it'd be nice to have on the side. MK vs. DC Universe certainly wasn't as bad as people make it out to be, and if SF vs. MK were developed by Capcom, it would surely turn out much better.

Before I put in what I have to say, in what terms do you think Capcom would excel NRS?

Well that's why I asked cause sometimes Ono can be very confusing when saying things, One min something happens next it doesn't or later he changes his mind or he dose what Boon sometimes dose & Trolls and says something will never happen & blah, But yeah I just wanted your thoughts so thanks anyway.

I think Ono sees SF vs. MK as a novelty. But I personally would love to see this happen. It could be a really great game. I wouldn't care who made the game. As long as the gameplay was exciting and fun I would enjoy it. I think at some point down the road Ono will cave in to the idea.

I agree too, I mean who the heck every though Street Fighter & Tekken would work well, I mean after all the crossovers they had done plus they were suppose to do one with Guilty Gear but got scraped at some point I think it's safe to say that Capcom is know for doing the impossible, So yeah if they can make sf with tekken work & was willing to try & make sf with GG work which sounds even more absurd then I don't think Mk would be that hard or bad.

I still want to see it happen. Everyone has been begging for this cross-over since the early nineties. Even if it's just a novelty game I'd still buy and play it.

I don't think Yoko Ono has any say in this matter.

Street Fighter has been unappealing for years.
Unless SF x Tekken can prove Capcom can make a fun fighting game these days, I'm completely against it.
Edit: I've always liked SFIII: Third Strike.

My favorite is still Super Street Fighter II: The New Challengers...but maybe im jst old school like that.... I enjoy Tekken but im still skeptical about SFXT.

You're combining the (arguably) two most popular fighting games here.

They haven't really been at war with each other, really. Not even when MK came out was it like "Hey, fuck you SF!".

Which would make it all the more awesome. It would be a thing of godly powers for many a fighting game fan.

if it would happen, i agree with ninja mime that Capcum should develop the game. just for this reason i would buy MKxSF.

I really do not want to see this, especially if it's in the Street Fighter style of gameplay, not only do I find the art style, gameplay, and characters boring, I'd hate to image that transferring to MK.

I'd rather MK crossover with Tekken, Soul Calibur, Dead or Alive, or any other fighter.


The last time Street Fighter was fun to me was 3rd Strike, I have not cared about another one since then.

I think Scorpion and Sub-Zero would be against Ryu and Ken, while Liu Kang fights Fei Long, and Kung Lao fights Guy. Not sure about KL vs. Guy, but I tihnk Liu Kang vs. Fei Long is better, 'cause think about it. They are both based off of Bruce Lee! I think NRS and Capcom would like their most popular characters (NRS' Scorpion and Sub-Zero, Capcom's Ryu and Ken) to fight against each other. It would probably get them more media attention than if it were Liu Kang and Kung Lao vs. Ryu and Ken.

Well by your logic than in SFxT it should have been Ryu & Ken vs Jin & Haowrang then if Scorpion & Sub-Zero face Ryu & Ken but if Capcom made it tho . . . just by putting Ryu vs. Kazuya because Kazuya was the main guy in the first 2 tekken games should tell you that they would do Ryu vs. Liu Kang instead. But if NRS made it then just like Namco did with Jin vs. Ryu the yes it would be Scorpion vs. Ryu, But nowadays even that's debatable with Raiden being the main hero in the recent MK games (MKvsDC & MK9) so who really knows.
